    Flight booking disaster

    I am so disappointed with my experience booking a flight through this company. I paid for my ticket and all I got were automated emails with minimal information. When I ran into a problem with my booking, the staff were no help at all. I spent hours on the phone with them, only for them to cancel my booking and tell me I have to wait '8-10 days' for a refund. This company is a total waste of time and money. I highly recommend avoiding their services.

    Double booking issue

    I want to tell you about this really frustrating situation I went through with this online travel agency. I had booked a hotel room way ahead of time, but when I got there, turns out they had double-booked it. The hotel manager said the agency had supposedly reached out to me and sent an email, but I never got any messages. They even lied about all the other hotels in the area being fully booked, which wasn't true. After the manager called a few hotels that were marked as full on the app, we found out there were actually rooms available. In the end, the agency just cancelled my reservation and I was left with no place to stay. This whole ordeal really shook my faith in online travel agencies.

    Flight and hotel booking to Rome

    I recently booked a flight and hotel trip to Rome through a popular online travel agency. Unfortunately, within two hours of booking, the flights with the airline were cancelled, which meant that we could not make our connection to Rome for our hotel stay. I contacted the online travel agency, who instructed me to reach out to the airline directly for a refund since they do not deal with third parties. This led to numerous wasted hours and days without any successful refund. Eventually, I had to involve my bank to chase the funds, and even after 3 months, the issue remains unresolved. Overall, my experience with this online travel agency was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend using their services again.

    Booked hotel through travel website

    Customer service was terrible, eh! I booked a hotel and asked to cancel without a penalty. They said it was all good, then turn around and charged me the full amount. They blamed the hotel, saying it wasn't their fault. Now I'm stuck paying for two hotels on the same trip, eh. Definitely won't be using them again!

    I booked a hotel for me and my family, but when we got there, it was closed for renovations! We had nowhere to stay and it was a complete disaster. I don't think I'll ever use this website again. It's just not right that they didn't even apologize. I'm so upset!

    I tried out this new website 'cause my mom is always using a different one, but Expedia was no help when I needed it. I booked a hotel and the hotel and Expedia had different info, so I ended up losing money. Booking.com always comes through for me, but Expedia didn't seem to care at all.

    Flight booking experience through a travel website

    I just booked some flights on this travel website for a trip and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. The airline we got stuck with was no help at all, causing a lot of stress and hassle for me and my group.     Hotel booking cancellation

    The customer service dude was so nice and helpful when I had to cancel my hotel booking last minute. He was able to waive the fee even though it was the day of my stay at the Bromsgrove hotel and spa. He even called the hotel a bunch of times to make sure everything was taken care of. Thanks a ton for your help!

    Booking error Disneyland Paris

    I'm really upset about the trip I booked to Disneyland Paris through an online travel agency. Unfortunately, we couldn't fly out as planned because of some unexpected stuff. We found out that if we had booked straight through the resort, they could have changed our dates for us. But because we used the third-party agency, we were stuck following their rules and ended up losing everything. My boys are really disappointed, and I'm feeling frustrated and disappointed by the lack of help and service.

    Rome apartment booking

    Booking the apartment in Rome was pretty easy, eh? I was actually kinda taken aback that the booking was done through a whole different platform, which made talking to the host a bit trickier. The thing that stressed me out the most was all the extra stuff we had to do, like paying the tourist tax and giving our passport info. But the real pain in the neck was getting the entry code for the apartment - what a rigmarole! Turns out you had to download an app to get the code, which nobody told us upfront. Talk about unnecessary confusion and stress, eh? Luckily, the host helped us out in the end.

    Let me tell ya, dealing with this company was a complete nightmare, eh. I booked a transfer with them, only to find out that they never passed on the booking to the actual service provider, eh. When I had to cancel, it was a big hassle, and rebooking was no better, eh. The transfer we arranged never showed up because Expedia didn't give them the booking details, eh.     Promotion of establishments with captive dolphins and whales

    I'm really disappointed with Expedia for not keeping their promise to stop working with places that have captive dolphins and whales. Even though they said they would in 2021, they're still supporting at least 10 businesses that have these animals on site. It's not right and goes against ethical standards and animal welfare. Expedia is still involved in capturing dolphins and whales in Japan and Russia, and they're selling tickets to hotels that keep captive dolphins, like the Barcelo Hotel in Mexico, which has one of the smallest dolphin tanks in Latin America. It's sad to see a company that I used to trust putting profit ahead of ethics. Expedia, please do the right thing and cut ties with these establishments right away.

    Hotel booking issue

    So, let me tell you about this annoying thing that happened to me recently. I booked a hotel in Edinburgh and got charged twice for it. I tried contacting customer service through phone and email, but no one got back to me. I was so frustrated with the lack of response that I had to go to my bank and file a dispute. It was honestly the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

    Shuttle service disappointment

    The shuttle service I booked for my trip back from NYC totally stood me up at my hotel, so I had to shell out extra cash for a Lift ride to make it on time. And now the company won't even give me a refund! Their call center folks act like they don't get it whenever things get tough. Seriously, stay far away from these guys – they're nothing but money-hungry crooks who care more about making a buck than taking care of their customers.

    Flight booking frustration

    Today has just been a total disaster trying to fix a simple problem with my flight booking.     Membership downgrade due to app merge

    I recently went through a frustrating experience where my membership status got downgraded from gold to blue after they merged with their new app. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have spent a lot of money with them, but the customer service I received when trying to fix this issue was terrible. The representatives from Expedia were not helpful at all and gave me generic responses that did not address my concerns. I tried to find a solution, but I did not get a satisfactory outcome. Because of this, I have made the decision to close my account with Expedia and switch to a different company. I think that loyalty should go both ways, and the way they treated me, a long-time member, was really disappointing.

    Expedia and those other booking sites are just trying to rip you off! They're all about taking your money and not coming through with what you expected. I've been using them for booking for 5 years and every time they've messed things up for me. Now I make sure to book straight with the airlines and hotels to steer clear of their tricks. Can't trust them at all!
