My reviews got a verification request

Companies you’ve reviewed might contact you if they think you mentioned the wrong business or broke AllReviews’ rules.

Why Would a Company Contact Me?

Contacting you is a common step for companies dealing with problematic reviews. They might reach out for a few reasons:

Unrecognized as a Customer:

  • If companies can’t identify you as a customer, they need more info to understand and fix any issues.

Review Appears Misplaced:

  • If your review seems to be about the wrong company, they might ask if you meant to review them.

Violation of Guidelines:

  • Reviews shouldn’t include confidential or personal info. If a company thinks your review does, they may ask for its removal.

Eligibility Concerns:

  • If a company doubts your review meets AllReviews’ criteria, they may ask for more info to verify your experience.

This guide helps you understand why and when a company might contact you about your review, aiming to promote transparency and address concerns effectively.

How Does It Work?

You’ll get a message from the company at your account’s email address. You decide how to respond. We give you one week to sort it out.

What Happens If I Disagree With the Request or Don’t Respond?

If you disagree with the company’s request, choose not to respond, or don’t provide enough info, your review will probably be removed after our team’s final review.

This process ensures both parties can address any concerns about a review, keeping the platform fair.
