Verification Request for My Review

Businesses you've reviewed might contact you if they think you're referring to the wrong business or not following AllReviews' guidelines.

Why Would a Business Contact Me?

Reaching out to review authors is a common step for businesses dealing with problematic reviews. They could reach out for several reasons:

Not Recognized as a Customer:

  • Sometimes, businesses need more information if they can't identify you as a customer. Providing extra details helps them quickly figure out and address any issues.

Review Seems Misplaced:

  • If your review appears to be for a different business, the company might ask if you intended to review them specifically.

Breaking Guidelines:

  • Reviews should not include private or personal info. If a business believes your review has such content, they may ask you to remove it.

Eligibility Questions:

  • If a business thinks your review doesn’t meet AllReviews' criteria, they may ask for more info to verify your experience.

This guide explains why a business might contact you about your review and aims to ensure transparency while effectively dealing with concerns.

How Does It Work?

You’ll get an email from the business at the address tied to your account. How you respond is up to you. We allow one week to address the issue.

What If I Disagree or Don't Respond?

If you disagree with the request, choose not to reply, or don’t provide enough details, your review will likely be removed after our team’s final review.

This process ensures both sides have a fair chance to address any issues with the review’s content, maintaining the platform’s fairness.
