Flights
CancellationI booked a flight for a business trip two months in advance. The day before, I find out the first leg of my trip had been cancelled — trip.com had not even informed me, let alone changed my flight. I had to spend hours on my phone with customer service — three times. First, they rebooked me on the wrong flights. Then, they promised a response that never arrived. I had to explain the same every time, they seemed to have no record of anything. At some point, they had changed the flight for my second leg to an earlier time than that for the first! Brilliant. In the end, they did not solve the issue and I had to book a new flight on my own, hours before my trip. Absolutely unprofessional and unreliable. Will not use them again.

ServiceWas about to bail — moving day left my back a mess and past experiences made me wary, but the booking was actually simple, crew showed up calm and careful, my doubts faded and I'm relieved.

PriceBooked last-minute because I was moving and my back was killing me, needed a quick flight. Price jumped at payment — annoying — but customer service fixed it pretty fast and e-ticket arrived right away.

BookingI use this for random weekend getaways and work trips — tickets arrive by email fast (usually), updates show up and customer service actually replied to a weird question. Not always the cheapest; paid a bit more, but overall pretty hassle-free.
