International Flight Tickets for 5
We booked an international flight for our family of 5 through eDreams the evening of January 5, 2024. The confirmation email showed the correct birthdates for all passengers.
However, when clicking on "Manage" on eDreams website the next morning, we found out their computer had shifted all of the birthdates by -1, e.g., 12 became 11, 9 became 8, etc. Even worse, we contacted the airline and discovered eDreams had reported their altered and now incorrect birthdates to them. This was a problem because the dates have to be correct for international travel.
Contacting eDreams was a nightmare but they finally answered an email, claiming we entered all of the birthdays wrong, which was a flagrant lie disproven by their confirmation email. eDreams said they had no responsibility to correct their error and we had to contact the airline. The airline charged us a $600 fee ($120 per ticket) to change the dates. eDreams therefore owes us $600 we were forced to pay as a result of their mistake.
We thought about canceling the booking ("24 hour cancelation") but ruled this out when we saw all of the online complaints about eDreams customers customers never receiving their refunds.Flight and baggage
Avoid this platform for your booking and definitely don't add luggage as they will charge you TWICE as much as the company and the baggage is non-refundable. The website also told me that my booking didn't go through and that I should try again however it still charged me and now I have 2 booking for the same flight and the company won't refund me for the duplication - that should never have happened if the first instance had not occurred. Customer service is hard to get a hold of and unhelpful when you do... AVOID AVOID AVOID
Booking Flight to Hawaii
I was feelin' a bit nervous 'bout my trip to Hawaii, so I sent 'em a message. Mr. Cool Dude was so helpful and actually listened to all my concerns. He gave me all the info I needed to relax. It was pretty awesome!
Edreams booking
My wife and I visited Europe for the first time in October 2023 and had many bookings (hotels, cars, flights, etc.) All went well except for our booking with EDREAMS. We were late returning from an excursion in Italy (not our fault BTW) and missed our flight to the UK causing us to miss our pickup time for the rental car at Drivilla. We got the next available flight and went directly to the car rental place only to be informed that edreams had listed us as a no-show and did not forward Drivillia any of the prepaid funds for the car.
We had to pay AGAIN for the car and have since been unsuccessful in getting any money back from edreams. OMAR at "customer care" keeps citing the terms and conditions that we breached.
So...in a nut shell: we paid edreams money to book and pay for a car. We were late so edreams kept ALL the money and we had to pay double for the car (albeit a shorter period because we were late). This is NOT Drivilla's fault, they got nothing from edreams.
I told OMAR that he should be ashamed of his and the company's actions and that this amounted to petty theft in my opinion. Our money was given to edreams to pay for the car and they kept it, leaving me to double pay.
Maybe I'm wrong but this is petty and disgusting from where I sit. A penalty fee yes, but not all of our money!
I have no hope of any positive outcome from edreams, who BTW stopped communication when I asked if their was an appeal process which our case could go to, so my goal here is to save any other potential customers the grief that we experienced. Please Do NOT, do NOT book anything with EDREAMS or have anything to with them. They are everything a terrible company should be.Flight booking with free trial of membership
These scammers tried to pull a fast one on me, eh? They said I could try their membership for free, then they turned around and tried to charge me twice! After arguing with them, they finally owned up to their error but now they're refusing to give me back one of the payments. Total scam artists, eh?
Customer Service Experience
I just wanted to say thank you to the person who helped me out with my customer service issue the other day. They were so kind and really made a difference. It's always nice to deal with people who know their stuff and care about their job.
Refusing to renew my subscription
The agent was trying hard to get me to renew my subscription, listing off all the perks I'd be giving up if I didn't. But I stuck to my guns and said I wanted to cancel. Luckily, the agent was really nice about it and went ahead with my request.
Car rental
I prepaid for a car for a 7pm pickup at Dulles Airport for 3 day rental. I got there at 730 p.m., found between 20 and 30 people waiting, no cars available. Waited 2.5hrs still no car. This was prepaid, so my car should have been there. Called them and was on the phone for another 45 minutes. They told me they couldn't do anything but would book me with another car rental. They told me, the total cost for a new rental was $190. I got to a new car rental location and they only booked me for one day. The original booking was for 3 days. The total cost for booking the new car for 3 days is $394. $ 204 more than my prepaid. And now they are refusing to get me a refund for my original booking. I travel a lot and so rent cars all the time. This is my worst experience ever.
Unwanted Membership Charge
They went ahead and charged me for a membership I never even wanted, and now I'm unable to get a refund for my flight that I won't be able to use. Their customer service is just awful, and their policies are so unfair.
Air flight
Disaster. Wrong ID information of both my Nationality and Passport number at their first booking with airline company. I paid over 270 dollars for the Flex package but eDreams only booked the standard service towards Airline company. I can not get my free baggage from the Airline company. The customer service could do nothing but only blame me with my cheap options.

eDreams.com is a travel website that claims to offer a free 30-day trial upon creating an account. However, my personal experience with this site has been a complete nightmare. They immediately charged my credit card, despite advertising a trial period. When I reached out for cancellation, I received an unhelpful bot response, and canceling proved to be impossible. This is undoubtedly a scam, and I advise everyone to steer clear of eDreams.com. Protect yourself and your finances by choosing reputable travel websites that prioritize customer satisfaction.
car rental
I made a booking to rent a car in Chile but when I got to rental company my card got rejected. I had this confirmed by the rental company and reported immediately to eDreams. I paid online for a car that I didn't get from the rental... They don't want to return the money! Scam, avoid!

READ BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY - SCAM ALERT
BEWARE! Do not use this company at all for booking anything. They do not take responsibility for any services they provide.
They also charge "Mediation Fees" which are non-refundable, even when there is absolutely nothing you can do as a customer.
Here is my example. I booked a flight for 3 people from Montreal to Calgary leaving Feb 15, returning Feb 22nd. BOTH flights were canceled by the airline, with no re-booking until APRIL, 2023... So the airline refunded e-dreams on January 17 2023. I am on the phone with them now, on February 13 2023 still fighting for my refund. BUT WAIT! They are going to give me some refund, but not all of it. Why you ask? Great question. Well it is because... they cannot give a reason whatsoever.
This is a scam service, through and through. They will not give a reason, even a bad one, for not giving me a full refund. I had nothing to do with the cancellation of these flights, yet they are keeping a pile of money, just because. ...Update - they are keeping the additional money for, get this... CHECKED BAGS... Checked bags on a flight that no longer exists. Be careful, do not use this companyCar rental
They proved you with good price but with ABSOLUTELY ZERO SERVICE.
That is what you pay for. For whatever you decide to book with them. You need to cross the finger. When someone went wrong on the agent side, flight/hotel/car rental. You are trapped. You wasted your time and provide a lot of personal information to beg for a refund. In the end, they were not able to refund you even the another party made mistake or so. Please think 4 times before you book with them.Air ticket
I have been in contact with them since the beginning of July regarding ticket refund. They keep sending the same auto reply email “thank you, will be in touch soon etc” but nothing else yet. I also did chat and telephone complaints. I have a case number but no action. Unacceptable!!!!
Flight
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! I booked a simple roundtrip flight to/from Montreal and the only confirmation I got was a confusing email which had the WRONG return flight info and no valid confirmation # with the airline. I have downloaded the app and have tried calling ... I cannot CHANGE, CANCEL the booking (I just get forwarded in circles in the app). I cannot speak to anyone on the phone provide by the chatbot. This is a useless, no value-add service and I will be complaining to the better business bureau and VISA. The other review I left they asked me to "check my email" for a follow up to my review... There is NO follow up or email. This service is horrendous.
Airline Tickets
In June 2021 I bought tickets via eDreams "Flexible Fare Guarantee" which let me transfer my flights without charge. Due to COVID closing borders I rang them to get my flights moved, and they told me I had to pay the airline transfer charges and they would reimburse me within 10 days.
As I write this in May 2022 I have never received the refund for the cost of the ticket transfer, despite numerous calls, messaging, emails etc.. Its always "you should get your refund within 10 days/2 weeks/a month" and always "please just wait a little longer"
I don't believe they have ever intended to refund me, its been an elaborate run around in the hope I would just forget the money I am owed. Also when I transferred the tickets they wanted my banking details, including password!
Do not use or trust eDreamsair tickets
First time I used eDreams. By far the worst experience in my life and the most expensive fight ever, thanks to eDreams.
eDreams omitted to inform me about cancellation of the flight to get back home with my wife and two small kids and about the alternative options air company offered. They even shared misinformation on their web site and the app that the flight is on time and few hours before the flight, to the very time of the flight, that we should check in! Ironically, in material they send you when you purchase tickets, they insist on tracking the flight details through site and the app…
In situation like this, left at the airport in foreign country miles from home with whole family, their operators/advisers are nothing but waste of valuable time as they just keep repeating that they are sorry and how they understand difficulty of the situation. They are not focused on problem solving and seems have no power to make any decision. The alternative they offered is at least insane as it was to pay 2,500 EUR from my pocket for their omission or to stay in Palma de Mallorca, where I was, at my cost (!) next few days till they see what they can do.
I had to purchase new tickets for almost 900 EUR in order to bring my family back home!
After contacting eDreams for the refund for tickets I had to buy, the only information I received was that they will contact the air line and ask for the refund. Not for one moment they haven't realized or admited their own responsibility as they missed to communicate changes and shared misinformation.
Luckily, while I wasted more than 90 minutes on the phone with the eDreams advisor, my wife spoke with our lawyer who advised to make screenshots of all pages where eDreams shared misinformation in case we need to take legal actions to be refunded. I hope this advice may help eDreams clients in case they find in similar situation.EDREAMS
I bought two tickets. Because of covid, the country i wanted to visit closed down. Got two open tickets. Took several tries to contact customer service. It is exactly the same circus everytime- they put you on hold, talk to you, transfer to another administrator, put you on hold for 40 minutes than the line cuts off. Finally, after several attemps, they asked me 900$ as administration fees to use my open tickets. DON'T BE LURED BY LOW PRICES
SCAM company, BE AWARE, MY MONEY, IS GONE
I'm waiting for my complete refund after I canceled in less than 24 hrs,,,, for 45 days.
I contacted Italian airline they told.me.the reservation was canceled and they never got the money from you as I never received a ticket number from edreams,
So basically edreams stole my 1460$
A formal complaint will be filed if I did not hear back from edreams
If you are a responsible traveler please look elsewhere
