    Unauthorized credit card charges

    I had a bad experience with a booking service that sneakily charged my credit card. They didn't even tell me about the charges and I found out later that there were extra booking fees of $7.99 per reservation that I didn't know about. After canceling my bookings, I decided to just book directly with the hotel, which was way better. I asked for a refund for the original charge, but still waiting for the refund for the booking fees. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using this service again because they're not upfront about the fees and they charge you without permission.

    Misleading billing practices

    Even though Solome was nice and took her time to help me out, I am really upset about how they handled the billing. They charged me right away instead of waiting for the hotel to bill me, which seems shady and confusing. Even though Solome tried to make things clear, I'm not happy with how this all turned out.

    Misleading Information

    You say you're a stand-up company, but I gotta say, I was so let down by the service I got. I booked a room for 3 folks, but when we got there, the bed was tiny and no way big enough for all of us. And to top it off, when I asked for my money back, they said it was fine, but then slipped in a charge for cancellation insurance without telling me. That sneaky move is not cool at all, and I'm gonna have to do something about it.

    Hotel search assistance

    The person I talked to at Hotel Planner was really helpful in helping me find a hotel in the area I wanted. But the hotel they suggested was super old and not well taken care of. When I got there, the room had a bad smell that gave me a headache. It would have been better if the person had checked the latest reviews to give me more current info on the hotel. Basically, I wouldn't suggest staying at this hotel for any reason.

    I called to find a new place to stay since my regular spot wasn't good for me with all the health stuff going on in the pandemic. The person I spoke to was so attentive and really listened to me. They were able to help me find another place to stay, even though I had some options in the Acton-Boxborough area. They were extremely friendly and even sent me a text with a link for more information. I'll definitely be giving them a call again next time.

    Clean room, good location, ocean view

    My time at the hotel was great, the room was nice and tidy. The view of the ocean was amazing and the location couldn't be beat. The staff were super friendly and made my stay even better. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy place with a great view.

    Reservation assistance by hotel staff

    I was on a road trip, totally wiped out and needing somewhere to crash for the night. I gave a ring to book a room at the hotel in Santee SC, but was told they were all booked up. But get this, the person working there didn't just leave me hanging. They actually took the time to look for other options nearby and ended up booking me a room at another hotel. Their customer service was next level, and it really saved my bacon on this trip.

    I was so impressed by the awesome rates I found on this website. I checked prices on other hotel booking sites and even on the hotel's own site, but Hotel Planner always had the best deals.     Group reservation cancellation

    Recently, someone from our group had their reservation cancelled out of the blue because the hotel was overbooked. This meant having to drive two hours to get to the hotel, only to discover there was no room left. Both Hotel Planner and the hotel pointed fingers at each other, leaving us in the lurch without any compensation for the trouble. This kind of poor service just isn't on, and it's convinced me to steer clear of using this service ever again. On top of that, running into a rude Hotel Planner Representative in the past only cemented my decision to avoid this organization for any future travel arrangements.

    Polite staff, reasonable prices, no breakfast as advertised

    The hotel staff were so nice and helpful, especially the house cleaner who really made sure our room was cozy and clean. But gotta say, there were some cleanliness problems in the hallways that should really be taken care of for a better stay. The prices were fair, but we were let down to find out that breakfast wasn't available even though we thought it was supposed to be included.

    Hotel booking experience

    My experience with the customer service rep, Neal, was amazing. He knew his stuff, was super patient, and was just so nice the entire time. Neal really showed me what top-notch customer service looks like - he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of and gave me awesome help. It's clear that he's a special kind of person in this industry, and I think he should get some recognition for how great he is. I've dealt with a lot of customer service reps before, but Neal really stands out as one of the best I've ever come across. He's really setting the bar high for customer service, and I hope the company sees how important his work is.

    Booking a room online

    I just booked a room online at an Inn I wanted to stay at, but when I called to confirm, they said they were fully booked. The agent recommended looking for another hotel nearby. I went back to the website and managed to book a room from the available options. The website was user-friendly, although it took a bit to load when I clicked on the booking tab. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly with the reservation and I have a good stay.

    Reservation cancellation difficulty

    Yesterday was such a frustrating experience trying to get in touch with someone about my reservation. My name and email were both spelled wrong, and they kept asking me for a PIN that I never got. Every time I tried to email them, I was stuck because of this PIN situation. I kept explaining my problem in my emails, but all they did was give me a phone number from another country that I really didn't want to call. I was so fed up that I ended up taking a break. Finally, today, I was able to talk to Jonah, who was super nice and fixed all the mistakes in my info and canceled my reservation quickly.

    Desperate search for hotel during travel delay

    After a crazy day of travel with all sorts of delays, missed flights, and cancellations, me and my partner were in a bit of a pickle trying to find a hotel for a much-needed rest on our way back home. We were super tired, and the fact that there were no hotel rooms available just added to our stress. But then we lucked out and met this super nice dude named Michael who totally saved the day.
