Awesome customer service!!
I had such a great time emailing those folks. They were really friendly and helpful. And their prices are way better than going straight to the magazine company. Their customer service is top-notch.
Christmas gift purchase
I bought a magazine subscription as a Christmas present not long ago. I was happy to see the first issue arrive when they said it would. It was easy to do, and I think it was a good deal for the subscription.
Easy cancellation of auto-renewal subscriptions
I had such a great time calling customer service to cancel a few auto-renewal subscriptions that I don't need anymore. The lines were jam-packed, so I left a message expecting to wait a while. But then, out of the blue, Jodi called me back super fast! She was super nice and made everything so simple and easy. I really think she deserves a raise for how amazing she is at customer service.
Magazine subscription renewal issue
I just renewed my magazine subscription for 3 years in November 2021, but it's been almost a year now and I haven't received a single issue. When I reached out to customer service in mid-February, they told me they couldn't do a 3-year renewal anymore. They refunded me for 1 year and set up a new 2-year subscription, but it's now June 1st and I still haven't gotten any magazines. I looked at my account orders today and noticed that the order number isn't even there. I'm really let down by the service from this company.
Single issue of a publication
I just bought one issue of a magazine from DiscountMags. Everything went well with the order, it said the item was in stock. But, when I tried to get the magazine, it said I'd have to wait 8 to 12 weeks. That's way too long and now I'm annoyed with their service.

I just found out that my subscription to the magazine company automatically renews at a much higher price without any warning. I was completely caught off guard because they never mentioned this when I first signed up. When I tried to cancel my subscription, I had trouble getting in touch with customer service and fixing the problem. I've reached out to the proper authorities to deal with this and make sure other people don't experience the same kind of consumer fraud.

Eh, so I gotta say, my time ordering a magazine subscription from DiscountMags was pretty good, eh. I just happened to come across their website while I was searchin' for a specific magazine, and boy was I surprised by how many different magazines they got up for grabs. Picking and ordering a magazine was a breeze, and I really liked how easy the website was to use. Can't wait to get my first issue in the mail, and I might just have to order from DiscountMags again in the future 'cause it was such a good experience, eh. Gotta say, I'm seriously impressed by all the different magazines they have and how simple it was to place an order.

I'm really upset with the service I got from this company. I ordered my magazine in January and it's now April, and I still haven't got it. The way they don't keep me in the loop is just not cool. I've tried to contact them a few times but no one's gotten back to me. It's making me think maybe this company is not on the up and up.

Digital download purchase mistake
I kinda jumped the gun and criticized DiscountMags for making me use a certain reader for their digital downloads, but turns out they did mention that during the purchase. My bad for not paying close attention to the details. DiscountMags was cool about it though, they explained everything to me and even gave me a refund.
Magazine Address Change Issue
I had a problem with DiscountMags when I wanted to change the delivery name and address for my Us Magazine subscription. I managed to update the address on their website, but I couldn't change the name. I emailed them for help, but they said I had to contact Us Magazine because DiscountMags is a third-party company and can't make the change. I've emailed DiscountMags again and I'm waiting for a response. This problem has been going on since I ordered on January 3, 2024.
2 year magazine renewal
I bought a 2-year renewal for a magazine subscription for $190. But DiscountMags messed up and didn't renew it. I only found out when my magazines stopped coming and I got a refund on my credit card. Their customer service was not very sorry at first, but they fixed the problem after I left a bad review. Andrew from DiscountMags said sorry, took responsibility, and gave me a discount on another subscription to make it right. I would have liked if they handled it better at first, but everyone makes mistakes.

I found the best deals when I did some online shopping. At first, I was debating whether to keep ordering my magazines from there since I was getting some other neat offers in the mail. But then, this really friendly person gave me some advice. They suggested I take a look online to see all the amazing deals available. And let me tell you, it was spot on! I've been buying magazines from this company for years now, and I've always been happy with their service. The magazines always come in 6-8 weeks like they say, and whenever I've had questions or issues, their Customer Service team has been quick to help. It's hard to say how I feel about the magazine subscription I got because I've only got one issue so far. I bought it on December 21 and already got the December and January issues. But the label says "NOV2024," which is weird because it might be talking about the November issue. I'll have to wait and see if the next ones come on time and with the right label before I can decide if the company's service is good or not.

New Yorker subscription
I'm pretty ticked off with the service I got after signing up for The New Yorker subscription back in December. I haven't gotten a single issue since then! The email I got confirming my subscription said it would be extended from February to March, but here we are in almost May. When I finally emailed about it, all I got was excuses about COVID-19 causing delays, and I wasn't happy about that. It took a whole 2 1/2 weeks after I left a review for the magazine to start showing up in my mailbox again.
Slam magazine subscription
I ordered a subscription for Slam magazine four months ago, and I still haven't gotten my first issue. They sent me an email saying they would extend my subscription, but that doesn't make sure I'll get the magazines I paid for. Customer service hasn't been helpful at all and just keeps telling me to contact the publisher, who I can't get a hold of. My son is bummed out that his birthday present hasn't shown up after waiting so long.
