Delayed return flight
My time with the airline was pretty nice, until we had our return flight from Cork to Bristol. Because of some bad weather, our flight got cancelled and the next available seats weren't for another 3 days. They did offer us a different flight to Heathrow the next day and said they would refund our expenses to get back to our car for the trip home. But even after lots of back-and-forth and sending in our receipts multiple times, we only got partially refunded. They had told us they would cover all reasonable costs, so this whole situation was really stressful and frustrating. The airline's lack of transparency and their unwillingness to fully keep their word was really disappointing. You just can't be dishonest like that, it's not cool, and it's definitely left a bad impression on me.
Flight cancellation, customer service experience
I had a rough time with this airline recently. My flight got cancelled because of a storm, which I get is not their fault. But man, the lack of communication and help was just not cool. When I went up to the airline desk, the staff there seemed totally lost and couldn't give any details about refunds or helping us find a place to stay. The whole customer service vibe was just terrible, with the employees lacking in professionalism and skill.
Mistakenly booked flights
I booked my flights by mistake and had to call to fix it. At first, they told me to book again and said I'd get a refund later. But when I called back, they said they couldn't give me a refund anymore. And to top it off, the person on the phone laughed at me.
Recent flight experience
My recent flight with the national Irish airline was amazing. The staff were super friendly, really knew their stuff, and made the whole journey so pleasant. The seats were comfy, and even though there was a bit of bumpiness in the air, the pilots handled it like pros. I've flown with this airline four times now, and every single flight has been flawless.
Flight from Dublin to San Francisco
My recent flight from Dublin to San Francisco was pretty good overall. Going through US pre-clearance in Dublin was quick and saved time when we landed in the US. The plane layout was comfy with the 2-4-2 setup, and checking in online was easy. The flight attendants were really nice and kept checking on us. The only downside was that the meal service felt a bit rushed, they served meals just 2 hours into the 11-hour flight. Also, it was a bummer that alcoholic drinks weren't free, but we could buy them if we wanted. The food was okay, I've had better on other long flights. The entertainment options were decent and helped pass the time. On the way back, a child got sick and the crew handled it well, even when things got serious and they needed medical help. All in all, for the price I paid, I can't complain too much and might fly with them again in the future.
Flight time changed
The flight time change was absolutely brutal! My family was all set for a cruise, and now we're on the brink of missing our flight because of it. We tried to get a refund, but they shut us down. There's no chance we'll ever fly with them again. The service was just so awful!
Flight cancellation ruin holiday
My partner and I had our flight with Aer Lingus cancelled on the morning of April 7th with no explanation. Then we got rebooked on a flight two days later, which totally messed up our one-week holiday in Ireland. It was so frustrating and disappointing how they didn't communicate with us or consider our plans. Needless to say, I won't be flying with this airline again.
Lack of customer service response
I recently tried to get in touch with customer service in a bunch of different ways, such as online, on the phone, and even through WhatsApp, but I didn't hear back at all. This lack of communication has really gotten on my nerves and let me down as a customer. Good customer service is super important for any business, and the fact that I didn't get any help or even a response to my questions just isn't right. Companies need to be quick to respond and pay attention to what their customers need, but in this situation, I felt like I was being ignored and not appreciated.
Short-haul flight experience
My most recent quick flight was with this one airline, and I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with the whole shebang. The trip was supposed to take off from one airport, but ended up going to a different one - but the customer service team handled it like pros. And can I just say, the flight attendant named Karen? She was a gem - super professional and friendly, even giving us tips on where to go and what to eat at our final stop. All in all, it was a really nice and smooth experience.
Connecting flight rebooked, disability assistance provided, asked another passenger to switch seats for more room, good service, on-time flight
My recent experience with the airline was really good. I ended up missing my connecting flight and had to rebook, but the airline staff were super helpful and got me set up with disability assistance to make things easier for me. It was a huge relief to have that extra support when things were so stressful. And then, during the flight, the flight attendants went out of their way by asking another passenger to switch seats so I could have more room. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness and willingness to help me out. Overall, the service was top-notch as usual, and the flight was on time, so it turned out to be a really positive travel experience.
Flight experience
My recent flight experience was really disappointing. The airline didn't give us all the information we needed, which made me feel like I was being tricked. I thought I was going to be flying with Aer Lingus, but turns out it was actually Air WAMOS. The plane was old and dirty, the entertainment systems barely worked, and the food was not great. The flight attendants didn't seem friendly and didn't talk much to the passengers. When I tried to talk to Aer Lingus about my concerns, I either got a generic response or no response at all. It was only when I made a big deal about it that I got a small voucher for a future flight, which didn't really make up for the bad experience. I'm worried and disappointed that Aer Lingus is still using Air WAMOS, which is a poorly rated carrier. Overall, my experience with Aer Lingus was not good at all.
Flight purchase
The crew on the plane was so unprofessional, eh? They totally fibbed about the meal choices and ran out of breakfast for us all. I was on a really long flight and the service was a major letdown compared to when I flew with American Airlines last time.
Flight issues
Oh my gosh, the airline totally screwed up my connecting flight and I had to wait, like, forever in the airport. The customer service folks were totally useless, so I just decided to cancel my flights because I couldn't deal with it anymore. Their response was basically, "tough luck."
Delayed flight and poor customer service
The service provided by Aer Lingus was really disappointing, eh. Our flight from Barcelona to Birmingham was delayed, so we had to run to the gate only to be told we couldn't board with just 2 minutes to spare. And then, to top it off, the plane just sat at the gate for another 10 minutes after we were turned away. That kind of disorganization and lack of consideration for passengers is just not okay, you know. I was feeling pretty frustrated and inconvenienced by the whole situation. It definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, and I'll think twice before booking with this airline again, eh.
Flight cancellation due to family emergency
I had to cancel my flight with this airline because of a family emergency. My dad's health got worse in his fight against cancer, and I needed to be there for him. Even though I've been a loyal customer for three months, I was surprised and disappointed by the airline's reaction when I asked for a refund. They wanted me to show all kinds of personal info to prove my dad was sick, which I thought was rude and thoughtless.
Flight booking experience
My recent experience with customer service at the airline was so disappointing, eh. The staff member I dealt with was super abrasive, rude, and even tried to physically push me, eh. Like, totally not cool, especially in front of my young son, ya know. I was so shocked by how unprofessional and rude they were at the Dublin airport kiosk, ya know. I'm gonna have to make a report to the Better Business Bureau to deal with this issue, eh.
Flight delays, lack of communication, compensation refund issues
My recent experiences with this airline have been terrible. Twice my flights were delayed big time, totally messing up my plans. And they didn't bother to tell me anything, so I was just stuck there not knowing what the heck was going on. And to top it all off, I still haven't gotten any money back for all the trouble. It's just not right.
Flights to Dublin
Oh man, I made a huge mistake and booked the flights to Dublin from London for the wrong weekend. But when I called customer service, they were really nice and waived the change fee for me. It would have cost me a lot more money to change the flights, so I was so relieved! 👏
