I got a cool wallet from chill...!
So, I picked up this wallet from chill... and let me tell you, it's really awesome! The fabric is super tough and feels really nice. It's got plenty of spots for all my cards and cash, which is perfect since I'm always misplacing stuff. And the look of it is super slick and stylish, so I feel mega cool using it. All in all, I'm super stoked about my buy from chill... and totally think my buddies should check out their gear too!

Stock image, High resolution JPEG
As a customer at Alamy, I recently bought a stock image that was supposed to be high resolution. However, when I downloaded it, it turned out to be a compressed JPEG even though I chose 'high res'. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the promised 5.8MB high resolution file. When I contacted customer service for help, they just told me to use photoshop to enlarge the compressed file to a TIFF format. That didn't sit well with me because it didn't meet my standards for image quality. I was puzzled when they mentioned something about 'protecting the distributor/creator', which sounded like a weak excuse for their false advertising. This whole situation has made me doubt the trustworthiness of this company, and I think it's important to report their shady practices to the right people.

Lumber, customer service
I can't believe the horrible experience I had at this store. They were all out of lumber carts, the ladies' washroom stank, and the person at the Pro service desk was completely useless. I asked for help finding a cart, and he basically told me to look around the store or parking lot on my own. His customer service was terrible, and he even seemed to make fun of customers behind their backs. On the other hand, Kate in the paint section was a shining light in this awful journey. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly - everything you'd hope for in a hardware store employee. Despite Kate's great service, my overall experience was so awful that I won't be spending any more of my project money at this place.
