Recent software purchase
I recently bought some software and it was such a letdown. It kept saying good programs were bad and made all these big junk files that I couldn't even delete, taking up way too much room on my device. And to top it off, it stopped working before it was supposed to, so annoying! I definitely wouldn't suggest getting this software to anyone else.
Trend Micro Security Pro
I bought Trend Micro Security Pro at a store, but then found out I already had a license. So, I requested a refund online on March 27th and started talking to their customer service people almost every day. I gave them all the info they needed like the receipt. But they kept asking for the same stuff over and over. Finally, on April 10th, they asked for my bank details to give me the refund. Then on April 14th, I got a message telling me to go back to the store for the refund. This whole thing made me super frustrated and made me think their customer service isn't very good. It seems like they're just stalling or they have people working there who don't know what they're doing – always asking for the same info. Their 30-day money-back guarantee didn't work out like I thought, and now I'm wondering about how they advertise their products.
Renewal subscription for antivirus software
I had a really frustrating experience with renewing my antivirus software recently. I've been using it for years, so I was looking forward to renewing for another year. But the installation process didn't work properly and I got stuck at the "Summary" step. I tried following all the instructions, but the serial number from my renewal letter just wouldn't go through. Every time I tried, it kept saying my subscription had expired. The online guides didn't help at all, and I couldn't get through to Technical Support. I'm done with this product and will be looking for a competitor who actually appreciates my loyalty.
Antivirus software for MacBook
I downloaded some antivirus software for my MacBook, but turns out it doesn't work with my OS version. I tried to cancel my order and get my money back, but it didn't work out.
Subscription for a year
Oh my gosh, that subscription was honestly the worst! I bought it and it was so terrible, didn't even work at all. And then when it ended, they tried to renew it without my permission! I had to fight to stop them, and their customer support was totally unresponsive. Such a waste of money and time, these companies shouldn't be allowed to operate!
Security software purchase
As a customer who isn't great with technology, I wasn't too happy with the security software I bought. It kept interrupting me all the time. I didn't want it to control my laptop, but that's pretty much what happened. I just wanted it to do its job quietly in the background, not constantly bugging me with 'helpful' tips and showing off.
Chat support with remote control
I recently had a chat with the chat support team and Joyce Ann helped me out through the chat box and remote control. She was really helpful and knew a lot about fixing the issue I had. We didn't completely solve the problem, but Joyce Ann gave me a quick and easy solution that worked for me. She recommended reinstalling the software, and even offered to help me with it, but I went with the workaround because it was easier for me. This was my first time using Trend Micro's support services and it was a good experience.
Internet Security Software
The internet security software I bought was good on my Windows 10 computer, it did its job. But when I tried to use it on my iMac, it made everything slow. And I had trouble connecting remotely with Citrix, even though I looked at the online help. I had to turn off the software to get into my work Intranet, which was annoying. I think the software should be easier to set up. I was not impressed with my experience and won't use this software again.
Security software
I'm really upset with the customer service at this company. I've submitted two tickets about problems with the security software, but haven't heard anything back or gotten them resolved. It's just not okay how they're not helping out after the sale.
Security software renewal
I just renewed my security software subscription with this company. I was a bit bummed to see that new customers are getting a better deal than us loyal ones. Hopefully companies start recognizing and rewarding loyalty more in the future.
Trend Micro Device Security Basic for iMac
I just bought Trend Micro Device Security Basic for my iMac to keep it safe from malware, viruses, ransomware, and identity theft. It also has features for secure online banking and shopping. So far, I'm happy with how well it works and how easy it is to use.
Laptop security software
The security software that came with my laptop is really something else, eh? At first, I didn't think much of it, but it's become a must-have for keeping my laptop safe from online baddies. The automatic syncing and scanning features make it super easy and convenient to use. I feel confident that my personal info is safe and sound while I'm on my laptop, all thanks to Trend Micro.
Long-time customer dissatisfaction
I've been a loyal customer for more than ten years now, but I've hit a roadblock. My account got charged at full price for a subscription renewal, even though I could have gotten the same coverage for way cheaper with the same provider. Dealing with impersonal customer service and not being able to talk to a real person just made me even more annoyed.
Cybersecurity software purchase
So, I got this cybersecurity software but it was totally horrible. I kept getting emails with other people's info, like seriously not good. I tried to reach out but everything was automated and all that. Gonna have to tell someone about this mess. And my Windows security didn't even let me use the software, so that's a huge red flag. Definitely avoid this, okay?
Chrome extension purchase
Oh man, the service was just awful. The Chrome extension didn't do what it was supposed to, didn't even alert me about possible scams. Because of that, I got scammed by a fake website. It's obvious this company doesn't care about keeping their customers safe and sound. I recommend everyone stay far away from their services, no matter what.
Cancelled subscription, no refund
I was really looking forward to trying out that service, but it ended up being a huge letdown. I ended up cancelling my subscription within just 4 hours because it wasn't what I was hoping for. They said I'd get a refund in 7 days, but that never happened. I tried to challenge the charge with my credit card company, but they weren't helpful at all. When I called customer service, I was stuck on hold for a whopping three hours before I finally gave up in frustration. Those people are the absolute worst - they're dishonest, thieves, and clearly don't give a darn about their customers.
License issue resolved quickly
Oh man, let me tell you about this issue I had with my license. But good thing the folks at the company were so awesome and helped me out right away. I didn't even get it from them originally, but they still managed to sort it out in no time. Couldn't be more grateful!
Subscription for VPN service
I just signed up and paid for a VPN service for a whole year, but they cut me off when it came time to renew. Even though I paid my subscription, they won't help me get it working again. I spent hours chatting with their support team, but it seems like they just stole my money without giving me the service I paid for. It's not right and it's not fair.
Effective protection against viruses and malware
Trend Micro is the first antivirus software I've used that doesn't bombard me with emails and pop-ups trying to sell me stuff I don't need. It actually does what it says it will, unlike other brands like Norton and McAfee, which always seem to be asking for more money for things that should already be included.
