    Hotel stay review

    My time at Lopesan Melonares in Gran Canaria was like a little piece of paradise. The hotel was stunning and super spacious, giving off a heavenly vibe. It was really family-friendly and had six rooms designed for people with mobility issues, like wheelchairs. The room I stayed in was roomy and easy to move around in, with glass doors that opened up to a private terrace. The furniture was a bit worn but still did the trick. The staff were amazing and really went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. The dining options were top-notch, with delicious food and lots to choose from. The pools were awesome too, with one heated pool and help available for guests with disabilities. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would totally recommend Lopesan Melonares to anyone looking for a chill and enjoyable holiday spot.

    Family vacation at a hotel in Gran Canaria

    My family and I had an amazing time at this hotel in Gran Canaria. The hotel was really big with lots of pools to pick from, and the kids' club was a nice bonus, even though we only went once because there was so much to do. The beach was just a short 15-minute walk away, and we found everything we needed close by, like diapers for the little ones. Renting a car through the hotel was super convenient for exploring the island, and we definitely recommend it. The best part of our trip was the incredible staff. From the front desk to the restaurants to housekeeping, everyone was so friendly, helpful, and really went out of their way for us. The rooms and grounds were well-kept, and the buffet had lots of fresh, yummy choices for everyone.

    As a person who travels a lot, I always look for fancy places to stay that offer great service and nice extras. My last visit to one of those family-owned hotels was incredible. From the minute I got there, they treated me like royalty. The staff was super helpful, pleasant, and knew what they were doing, which made my visit really special. The hotel itself was like a beautiful dream, with amazing decorations, lush gardens, and fancy rooms that went above and beyond what I was expecting.     Luxurious hotel experience

    This hotel was amazing! We've been to quite a few 5-star hotels before, but none of them were as great as this one. Our room was fantastic, with special features like a separate breakfast spot and a private pool. The staff were super nice and made sure everything was clean. The place itself was beautiful, and the food was so good. What else could you want from a hotel? We're already thinking about coming back again.

    We had the best time at this super cool resort for New Year's. It was so much fun! The folks there were super friendly, the vibe was cozy, and it was honestly the best holiday ever. The garden was massive with tons of palm trees, pools, and cute little oases. We're definitely planning on going back for sure!

    Our recent stay at the resort was terrible. The staff were so rude and unhelpful, especially with families. The manager was shockingly rude and even mean. We had to wait forever for things like hot milk for the kids, which is just not okay. The food was terrible, tasted like old leftovers. Dinner was not good at all, the food was bad. One time we tried to book a table at the restaurant and got a late spot, but they didn't even save it for us. We spent a lot of money on this holiday that ended up being a total disaster.

    Stay at a 5-star hotel Villa Del Conde in Meloneras

    The bathroom they adjusted was nice, with some sun on the terrace and a hoist at the swimming pool. But, some towels were all worn out, bed sheets had holes, and the little fridge made a racket. It was tricky because there weren't enough plugs in the bedroom and there were issues with the lifts for those folks on scooters. Breakfast options were limited and the fruit juices weren't the best quality, plus the canned pineapple wasn't up to snuff for a 5-star place. The folks working there were nice, but they charged a fee for late check-outs, unlike other spots that don't charge extra for disabled guests. All in all, my time there didn't live up to the hype for a 5-star joint, so I won't be going back to any Lopesan spot again.

    My recent stay at a hotel was a total disaster. The facilities and food were okay, but the service was terrible. The employees were so clueless and didn't know how to make their guests happy. On top of that, the way the hotel handled COVID-19 safety was really disappointing. Even though they said they had strict rules on their website, a lot of the hand sanitizers weren't working and people weren't following basic safety rules like wearing gloves at the buffet. My mom and I were so worried about the lack of COVID-19 precautions that we took matters into our own hands by putting sunbeds in front of our room to stay away from other guests. But then the female manager got all mad at us, even though the hotel wasn't even full and there were lots of other spots available. It was pretty clear she didn't get what was going on and didn't care about our concerns. We felt unwelcome and disrespected the whole time we were there.

    My recent stay at the resort was a huge letdown. I saw some nice pictures online, but in real life, it was not good at all. The food was not great, tasted old like leftovers. Trying to reach someone on the phone before coming was useless, their customer service was bad. The drinks were weak, and the buffet was like a chaotic Black Friday at Walmart. Even the room service couldn't make a decent burger. There was racism going on, with a chef making offensive jokes. The casino had a game that scammed guests. The whole place felt sad and boring, even the sign for the Adults Only Pool was in Comic Sans font.

    Eh, I would steer clear of this hotel chain, eh. The service was non-existent and just plain rude, eh. And to top it off, I got food poisoning and ended up in the hospital, eh. Seems like arrogance is just part of their DNA, eh. They might be great at social media, but it's all show and no substance, eh.

    Family vacation

    I tell ya, I'm on a family vacay and we just rolled up to our hotel, and let me tell you, the reception staff is not impressing me. So get this, we booked three rooms, and mine is smack dab next to the stairs and elevator, so I hear every little thing round the clock. It's noisy as heck, I can't catch a decent snooze. And when I asked if I could switch rooms, they said, "Nah, you're all good where you are." Like, seriously? Then they were all, "Well, we could move you to a cheaper room if you want." Um, no thanks, I forked over serious cash for this vacay!

    I was promised a room with a killer view, but all I see is a grey wall of concrete. And they had the guts to tell me to be thankful for the view! Give me a break, that's not cool. And when they showed me other rooms, one smelled like smoke and stink. Gross!

    I saved up for two years for this trip, and I was banking on some top-notch customer service, you know, like a fancy-schmancy 5-star hotel would give. But nope, not seeing that here. Looks like I won't be catching much shut-eye on this holiday.

    Lopesan Melonares

    So, I stayed at this hotel in Gran Canaria and let me tell you, the room was no good because they had the air conditioning set at a measly 22 degrees. I tried to get it turned down, but they told me it was illegal or something! Can you believe that? I even asked to speak with the boss, but they never bothered to get back to me. The service was awful and the food was gross. On top of all that, the pools weren't even heated. Like, seriously? Who wants to go for a swim in the winter when the water is freezing cold? Such a letdown.
