Outdoor gear
I bought some outdoor gear recently and let me tell you - the customer service was pretty brutal. They said they'd give me a credit for a return, but nope, they never did. I didn't get the credit and I didn't get my money back either. So annoying. I sent the stuff back, expecting some kind of compensation, but nope, nothing.
Unacceptable return experience
I had a pretty rough time with my Moosejaw purchase. I ordered two things at the end of January, but they didn't fit right when I got them. I sent them back the very next day, just like Moosejaw's policy said to do. But then I found out I wouldn't be getting a refund back on my card like I was told - instead, just store credit. Nobody even bothered to check if that was alright with me, which I thought was pretty rude and not very professional.
My new sweatshirt
I was so excited when I got the coolest sweatshirt, but it turned out to be too small. I tried to return it, but they were all like "sorry, can't help you". So now I'm stuck with this tiny sweatshirt.
Points Program SCAM
So I was thinking I could use my points to get some discounts, but it turns out they totally scammed me. They kept lying about giving me the discounts and ended up charging me full price!
Online purchase of outdoor gear
I used to be a big fan of shopping at Moosejaw, eh! But ever since they got taken over by that big-box sporting goods store, the whole experience has been going downhill faster than a toboggan down a hill. Back in the day, you could always count on getting top-notch customer service, quick shipping, and killer deals. Now? Fuggedaboutit. They can't even seem to get my address right, and all the sweet discounts and perks I loved are nowhere to be found. It's like they took everything that made Moosejaw special and chucked it in the garbage. If I wanted to shop at some boring, soulless store, I'd be heading elsewhere, don't ya know.
"Backpack purchase"
As someone who loves spending time outdoors, I needed a good quality backpack for my next adventures. I did some research and decided to buy one from this store. I chose a specific model that looked like it had everything I needed and I contacted their customer support to double-check if it had a certain feature. The person I spoke to confidently told me that the backpack did have that feature, so I bought it. But when the backpack arrived, it was obvious that it didn't actually have that feature. I was annoyed and let down by the inaccurate information given by their customer support team.
Cycling jersey, wrong color, poor customer service.
I just bought a cycling jersey from this shop, but when it showed up, it wasn't the color I wanted. I tried emailing them but didn't get much help, and when I called, they said they couldn't promise the right color. I was really let down by the lack of support and professionalism in dealing with this problem. It's too bad that my experience was so negative, especially since I was thinking of getting more stuff from them.
Royal Robbins skort
I was a bit unsure about buying at first due to some bad reviews, but I went ahead and ordered a Royal Robbins skort from Moosejaw. I'm really happy I did because it arrived super fast and was exactly what I wanted. It was the right size and color, and definitely the real deal - I can tell since I've been wearing these for years and usually buy them straight from the brand. The price was awesome and I saved a bunch compared to other places. I'm so pleased with my purchase and the whole Moosejaw experience.
Recent purchase experience
My recent experience shopping at Moosejaw was a letdown. A few weeks back, I bought something but had to return it because the size wasn't right. But while I was dealing with that, I realized they had made some big changes to their online system. All my account history and saved info, like past purchases, were all gone. It made returning the item a real headache.
Military discount on outdoor gear
My shopping experience at this store was amazing! I had heard some negative reviews, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. And I'm so happy I did! I got a really sweet military discount on my outdoor gear, which was a nice bonus. Placing my order was easy peasy, I did it on a Monday. And to my surprise, I got my stuff delivered super fast on Friday, right on schedule. The combination of top-notch service, speedy delivery, and reasonable prices made my experience with this store stand out. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Compression tights purchase
I recently decided to try out a pair of compression tights from this outdoor retailer, after usually shopping at a well-known competitor. I was disappointed to find that the quality of the product was not up to par, so I decided to return it. I had high expectations for customer service based on my past experiences with other retailers, but Moosejaw really let me down. Unlike my usual store, Moosejaw charges an $8 return fee no matter the reason, which was a big surprise. On top of that, I didn't receive any response from their customer support team when I reached out with my concerns. I won't be shopping with Moosejaw again and will stick with my usual retailer.
Two bags, one wrong size
I recently bought two bags from this store, they were both supposed to be 25L. But when they arrived, one of them was the wrong size. I was so disappointed and annoyed by this mix-up, 'cause when I shop online, I want to get exactly what I ordered. I just don't get how they messed up - was it the manufacturer's fault or Moosejaw's?
Sale items cancelled
I recently bought some stuff that was on sale online, but then I got an email a day and a half later saying my order got cancelled because of a 'mistake' in the pricing. When I talked to customer service, they hit me with a bunch of legal talk that basically said the company can cancel orders if they don't like the price the customer paid. I get that mistakes happen, but I think it's not cool to punish customers for the company's mistakes. Instead of cancelling orders and telling customers to buy again at a higher price, it would be better to admit the mistake, fulfill the original orders, fix the website pricing, and move forward in an honest way.
Elbow pads
I recently bought a pair of elbow pads from this store, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Despite seeing some bad reviews online, my experience was actually pretty good. I was eagerly waiting for updates on the shipping of my order. Even though I didn't see any immediate updates when I checked the tracking info, my package showed up just a couple of days later through FedEx. The delivery was quick and smooth, which I really liked. And I was happy to see that the return policy had been updated, making it super easy to return items with the option to print a return label online. Overall, I had a great first experience with this store.
I ordered something and some random person picked it up
So I ordered this really cool thing online, eh? And then some random person picked it up and I never got it! I was so mad, I tell ya! And when I reached out to customer service, they were all like "Oh, we'll definitely check it out and get back to you," but nope, they never did! How rude, right?
Purchased a pair of high-end mountain sunglasses on sale.
Eh, so I bought these fancy mountain sunglasses on sale from this shop, right? But then I saw the same ones for way cheaper on another website. I contacted customer service to ask for a price match like they're supposed to do, and guess what? They gave me some bogus excuse and wouldn't match the price. Kinda bummed me out, you know? I'm a pretty savvy shopper, so I expect stores to stick to their policies, especially when it comes to matching prices. This whole thing really makes me question how much they care about keeping their customers happy.
Arcteryx Beta SL Jacket
Hey there! So I had this not-so-great situation while shopping online. I got these annoying pop-up ads from Moosejaw about a super awesome 30% off deal on the Arcteryx Beta SL Jacket, bringing the price down to $208.99 from $299. But when I clicked on the link to buy the jacket, there was no discount at all. I reached out to Customer Service, sent them screenshots of the misleading ad, and guess what? They told me it was a mistake and there was no discount after all. Their response was kind of dismissive, telling me to reset my cookies and clear my browsing history, basically blaming my computer for the whole issue. I was really disappointed to see this shady advertising, especially when I've had way better experiences with other companies like REI, Backcountry, Sunny Sports, and Sierra Trading Post. This whole thing just left me feeling let down by Moosejaw, especially now that they're owned by Walmart.
Clothing items
As a customer, I wanted to let you know that my recent experience with the online store wasn't great. The clothes I ordered didn't fit right, so I needed to return or exchange them. But, I was bummed out when I had to pay for the return myself. And then, when I tried to follow the return/exchange instructions, I ended up getting a store credit instead of the money back that I was hoping for. It left me feeling pretty frustrated and like the company wasn't being straight with me.
New hoodie and hiking boots
I got this super cool hoodie and some rad hiking boots from there, eh, and let me tell you it was a total bummer. Everyone says they're all chill and outdoorsy, but in reality, they're just after your money, eh. They trick you with fake discounts and try to sell you stuff no one wants, eh! Plus, they're terrible at responding to emails, eh, and their shipping costs are way too high. I was so pumped to get my stuff, but now I'm just super disappointed, eh.
