    Unopened item return policy

    I tried to return something unopened after 90 days, and the store wouldn't take it with just a receipt. It's a total scam, so I'm going to shop somewhere else from now on. I'll get the supplies for my garage from another store. Definitely not coming back here!

    I had a bummer of an experience recently trying to buy something at the store. I went in to grab a specific item that they said they had in stock. But when I asked a clerk for help, they sent me to someone else, and then I ended up waiting for 15 whole minutes with no help in sight. Fed up, I just left and ordered the item online instead. The product itself was awesome, but the lousy customer service at the store really let me down.

    I went to the store the other day to get some stuff for my home reno project. The store was advertising a sale where "almost everything" was supposed to be 60% off, but turns out that was not the case at all. Only a few things were actually discounted by that much, which was kind of a letdown. They should have just said "almost nothing 60% off" instead. But hey, I still managed to find what I needed for my project, even if I had to pay full price for it.

    Bogus advertising is so frustrating, eh? I was all hyped up about getting a shed for a sweet deal that was advertised, but when I went to order and pay for it, turns out they didn't even have any in stock. Talk about false advertising, bud! To make matters worse, a different store in the same company had the shed in stock, but for way more moolah. Not cool, eh? It's not right for a big company like that to be so shady with their info and stock. I just want honest and reliable info when I'm buying something, eh? This whole situation felt kinda sketchy and really put a damper on my shopping experience, ya know?

    Smart door sensors purchase

    I bought some smart door sensors from your website not too long ago. The whole ordering thing went smoothly and I got a confirmation right away. But when my package arrived, I was kind of bummed out. The stuff inside wasn't what I was hoping for. One of the sensors looked like it had already been opened or returned before, with the seal broken and the box messed up. The other one was all dusty, like it had been chilling on the shelves for ages.

    3 lights purchase

    Oh man, RONA's online service is the worst. I bought 3 lights and one of them arrived all broken and missing parts. Can you believe it? They want me to drive back to the store, wait forever for a return approval, then order a replacement and hope it's okay. Why can't they just send me a complete light and I'll return the broken one? So frustrating. Amazon would never pull this on me, they're gonna crush RONA. I'm done with them, never buying anything from there again!

    Oh man, let me tell you about the Rona.ca Locker System - it's a total lifesaver for when you need to grab your stuff quick. No more hanging around the store waiting for them to track down your things, the lockers are super efficient and make things so much easier. I've placed a couple of online orders and every time my stuff was ready to pick up right on time. Getting that email notification when everything's ready is a really nice touch, saves me a bunch of hassle. Though I gotta say, there were a couple instances where my items weren't ready for pick up when they were supposed to be, super frustrating. But overall, I'm a big fan of the locker system and the convenience it offers.

    Recent online purchase during sale event

    I just made an online purchase during a sale and I gotta say, the customer service was a huge letdown. I placed my order, saw the charge on my credit card, and then...nothing. When I reached out to customer service, they said they wouldn't honor the sale price because the event was over for that item. They also brushed off the charge on my credit card, saying it would disappear in a week or two. This lack of responsibility and not caring about customer satisfaction is just not cool.

    I ordered a sink from this place and they said it would be delivered in 3-5 days, but it's actually been over a month. My tracking status still says "processing." I've called their customer service three times, and every time they just tell me stories and won't let me talk to the warehouse. It's super annoying how this company is operating. It feels like they're slowly going downhill and will probably end up going out of business.

    Washer and dryer purchase

    I recently bought a washer and dryer from the store and let me tell you, dealing with the customer service there was a nightmare. The washer was tearing up my clothes, so I reached out to the manager for help. Even though I had insurance and a technician come to check the machine, the manager just brushed off my concerns. He kept saying I was overloading the machine, even though I showed him the damaged clothes and sheets. I tried to explain that I was only washing a sheet set and some pillowcases, but he wouldn't listen. It was so unprofessional how he just walked away without trying to fix the problem. For the amount of money I spent on those appliances, I deserved way better treatment. Juan from the appliances department did try to help, but the manager's bad attitude ruined any positive experience. I'm hoping the insurance and appliance company can sort things out because that manager was a letdown.

    Curb-side pickup with paint mixing

    My recent experience with curb-side pickup and paint mixing at this store was pretty frustrating, eh? I was kinda bummed out when I found out I couldn't give 'em a call beforehand to get my paint mixed. They only wanted me to tell 'em what I needed when I got there. Seemed like a waste of time for both me and the store, you know? And it wasn't cool to find out that this policy was different at other stores. Plus, the way they answered the phone and the paint machine being broken at the Islington store for months really added to my disappointment, eh? They gotta step up their game to make customers happier and not lose business to other stores, eh?

    Metric bolts for mounting TV

    I went to the store to grab some metric bolts for my TV, but man, it was tough trying to locate them. There weren't many employees around, so I had to hunt them down myself. Finally found the aisle, but couldn't find the right bolts with heads that matched my screwdriver. Pretty frustrating not getting the help I needed, and the worker I did find wasn't much help either. They mentioned the store was closing due to low sales and suggested that Home Depot was better at customer service. Got me thinking about how vital it is for a store to have enough staff to assist their customers.

    Lumber, customer service

    I can't believe the horrible experience I had at this store. They were all out of lumber carts, the ladies' washroom stank, and the person at the Pro service desk was completely useless. I asked for help finding a cart, and he basically told me to look around the store or parking lot on my own. His customer service was terrible, and he even seemed to make fun of customers behind their backs. On the other hand, Kate in the paint section was a shining light in this awful journey. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly - everything you'd hope for in a hardware store employee. Despite Kate's great service, my overall experience was so awful that I won't be spending any more of my project money at this place.

    I went to the store the other day to get some pest control stuff, and right away, I was met by Manager Matt and Shawn. They were so friendly and knew their stuff. Manager Matt suggested a product that was not only budget-friendly but also the best at getting rid of my ant issue. It really showed how dedicated he is to helping customers. Both Matt and Shawn were really funny and had top-notch customer service skills, which made my shopping trip not only successful but also fun. Thanks a lot for all your help, guys!

    Mulch and Soil Purchase

    My time at RONA was way better than I expected. I went there to pick up some mulch and soil for my garden, and the help I got was awesome. The person working in the Seasonal area not only guided me to what I needed but also went the extra mile by offering to carry the heavy bags to my car. Being an older person, I really appreciated the help and it made my shopping experience a lot easier. Even though the big bags didn't fit in my car, the staff quickly figured out a solution by taking out the bags and rearranging them to fit in my trunk. Overall, I was really impressed by the top-notch customer service at RONA.

    Expensive Blackstone cooktop

    I recently bought a Blackstone cooktop online for a good chunk of change. The website said it would arrive between specific dates, but it's way past that now and I still don't have it. Also, they already charged my credit card the whole amount, taxes included. I tried contacting customer service a few times, and every time they said they'd look into it and call me back. Big shock, guess what? They never called back. This whole no communication, poor customer service thing is just not okay. My advice: steer clear of this company for online purchases if you actually want to get what you ordered and not get scammed.

    Gas chainsaw purchase

    I bought a gas chainsaw from your store not too long ago and I'm having some trouble with it. I was using it for about 10 minutes after the ice storm when it suddenly stopped working and now won't start. When I reached out to customer service, they told me that since it's been over 90 days since I bought it, I'll have to get a new one. As someone who's bought lots of Craftsman tools from you guys, I'm pretty upset at the lack of help from RONA. Your website was no help at all in finding a dealer for warranty repairs, which just made me even more frustrated and disappointed with the whole situation.

    Light bulbs

    So, I went to RONA to get some light bulbs, thinking they were awesome. But guess what? They turned out to be the wrong size when I got back home. I tried to take them back, but they were like, nah, can't do it without a physical receipt. I mean, who still carries receipts these days? And get this - they offered me store credit for less than what I paid, even though I just bought them that same day! Now I'm stuck with these useless light bulbs. Ugh, RONA needs to update their return policy, seriously.
