Incorrect Size Received
I'm really bummed out about my recent purchase from this company. I thought I was getting a size 10, but turns out they sent me a used and repacked size 12 instead. And then when I tried to get a replacement, they totally ignored me. I've never dealt with such terrible customer service like this before. It's just not right for a company to mess up an order and then not even try to fix it. So, I had to go through my credit card company to get my money back. This whole situation has been a complete nightmare.
Phantom boardshorts replacement
I've been buying your Phantom boardshorts for almost ten years now and I've always loved how durable and top-notch they are. But when I went to get some new ones for Christmas, I ran into a couple of problems that left me feeling pretty let down. First off, I couldn't find any size 31s on your website, which was a real bummer since the ones I have from 5 years ago in that size fit me perfectly. And then when I saw the new colours and patterns of the Phantom boardshorts, I was honestly taken aback. They're a bit too flashy and just not my style. I'm more into the classic solid colours like navy, black, and olive because they go with everything and are good for more than just surfing. The new designs just seem to be missing that simple, classy look that I've always loved about your brand. I think a lot of surfers, myself included, prefer a more understated design without all the flashy branding.
Insurance on online purchases
Don't bother spending extra on the optional insurance this company pushes. The prices are already jacked up, covering for any potential loss, so the extra insurance is just a waste. If you skip it and your stuff goes missing, too bad - they won't lift a finger to help. Plus, on top of all that, they ship through FedEx and you gotta fork out for that too. And if something goes wrong in transit, tough luck, they'll just pass the buck to FedEx. What a disaster!
Paddle board purchase
My experience buying a paddle board online was really disappointing. I spent a lot of money on it and only used it twice before noticing a flaw. The non-slip mat was poorly attached, causing air pockets which could be dangerous. When I contacted customer service to ask for a refund or a new board because of this issue, I got a disappointing answer. Even though I was worried about the safety of the board, they said they couldn't help. This lack of support and responsibility made me feel really frustrated and made me regret buying it.
2-piece bikini
I made a really dumb mistake and decided to order a 2-piece bikini online. It was a total disaster though! Only the bottoms showed up, with an email later saying that the top was out of stock and my order was canceled. And to top it off, when I tried to send back the bottoms, they had the nerve to charge me 10 bucks! The whole thing just left me feeling pretty crappy. Dealing with companies that don't communicate well, aren't transparent, and have lousy customer service is super frustrating. Save yourself the trouble and don't shop here!
Online order of four items
I ordered four things online, and it took two weeks to get to me because of a shipping problem. When it finally got sent out, it was sent back to the store because they were missing some paperwork. I got in touch with customer service, and they only gave me a refund - they couldn't send out the items again. I wouldn't recommend this store if you want your orders on time and with no issues with delivery.
Delayed order
That customer service is absolutely ridiculous! I ordered my shorts 10 days ago and still haven't gotten them. They said they were delayed, but really, 10 days is just too long. Do yourself a favor and buy from a different place, like eBay.
Clothing items
I bought some clothes from that store not too long ago, and let me tell you, I was super let down by the quality. Those items were clearly made on the cheap, and they definitely didn't hold up well after a few washes. It's obvious that they weren't made to last, just to make a quick buck. I was really disappointed with how flimsy and low-quality everything was.
Wetsuit replacement received
The folks at this store really know their stuff when it comes to customer service. I recently got a wetsuit that didn't quite match what I saw online, but they handled it like pros. They sorted everything out quickly and sent me a replacement wetsuit that was top-notch quality. I was left feeling super happy with how everything was handled.
Faulty wetsuit return process
I bought a wetsuit from the store and it turned out to be faulty. But the problem was, there was no way for me to return it easily because there was no collection service near me. I got in touch with Hurley's customer service team, and they sent me a returns form. But it's been over a month since I sent it back and I still haven't heard back from them. I've followed up several times, but all they keep saying is to use the returns portal, which I can't even access. On top of that, they mentioned that if they do send the wetsuit back to me, I'll have to repost it at my own cost of £25 each time. Dealing with all of this has been really frustrating, and I'm pretty disappointed with the way Hurley has handled this whole situation. It's really disheartening to see such poor customer service, especially as I've been a loyal customer for a while. I first brought this up in October, and there's still no solution in sight. I'm now out of over £200 because of their lack of communication and care. It's a shame that their great products aren't matched with great customer service. Unfortunately, I can't give them more than one star.
Boardshorts
I had such a terrible time dealing with this company, eh. The customer service was just a complete mess, you know. So I asked to return my boardshorts more than two months ago, and after a whole month of trying to schedule a pick-up, they finally came on the wrong day. And now, two months later, I still haven't got my refund, and they've been totally ignoring all my emails. I've sent about five emails since the pick-up, and they haven't said a single thing back. It's just not right, eh.
H2O-Dri Explore Rincon shirt and shorts
When it comes to finding swimwear that doesn't scream "swimmer," I was so excited to find the H2O-Dri Explore Rincon shirt and matching shorts. The Barely Bone color was just what I wanted, and the material felt super nice on my skin. The seams were well made, so I know it will last, and the fabric was so breathable and comfy all day long. The fast delivery with express shipping was awesome - I got my order in just two days! My only letdown was that the shirt only had one pattern. If there were more choices, I would have bought more for sure. Hey, company, please think about adding more patterns to this shirt - it would totally change my shopping experience.
Wrong item received
I was so let down by my online shopping experience at this store, eh. The customer service was just awful - they sent me the wrong item and wouldn't even swap it until they got the incorrect one back. It was a real pain and took way too long. You could tell they didn't really care about making customers happy, since I didn't even get what I ordered. I wouldn't suggest shopping at this online store because they don't handle customer problems well and lack professionalism, to be honest.
Sweatshirt gift
I got a gift for my friend from this shop and it never came! I checked the tracking and it took forever to even arrive in the UK. Then, the delivery company couldn't even find it and sent it back to the store. I tried to contact the store so many times but they just ignored me. Now my friend didn't get their gift and I wasted my money. So mad!!!
T-shirt purchase
I bought a t-shirt from this store not too long ago, and it was a total disaster. I never got the shirt even though they said it was shipped. When I contacted customer service, they were no help at all. They basically just brushed me off and said they couldn't do anything about it. This was the first and last time I'll be shopping at this store because I've never had such a horrible online shopping experience. Just a heads up, be careful before buying anything from this retailer.
Shorts as a gift
I got a pair of shorts for my birthday, but they didn't fit when I tried them on after coming back from a trip. Even though I ordered them weeks in advance, I couldn't return them because the deadline had already passed. I was really disappointed by the lack of flexibility and customer service. It really turned me off and I won't be buying from this company again.

Recent online purchase
I'm so upset about the terrible service I got from this online store. I ordered something more than a month ago and still haven't got it. They never bothered to update me about what's going on. It's so not cool. And to make things worse, I saw they slashed the prices on the stuff I bought, but they won't give me back the extra money. How do they think I'm going to keep shopping with them if they keep doing this? It's annoying that they don't even have any Google reviews. Makes me wonder if those good comments on their site are even real.

I ordered something but never got an email to confirm it. I checked my security camera footage and saw that FedEx never even tried to deliver it. They send me some texts that were confusing. I'm just really let down by the whole thing and starting to think that this company might be a scam.
