Canopy purchase
I just bought a canopy from this company and I gotta say, it was a pretty crappy experience. The canopy started falling apart after just a little while, with grommets ripping off left and right. And to top it off, when I tried to return it, I was hit with a strict 60-day return policy and unhelpful customer service. Both the company and the manufacturer were pointing fingers at each other, and I was left with a busted canopy and no solution in sight. Let's just say, I was pretty disappointed with the product quality and the lack of decent customer service.
Gun purchase
I just bought a gun from this website, and man, was I ever let down. The site doesn't show the store's real inventory, which got my hopes up for nothing. The search filters are all wonky, and half the time the availability status is wrong. When I went to the actual store, turns out they had way more guns in the library than what was online. It's a real letdown for folks like me who need reliable info to decide what to buy.
My recent purchase
I keep getting spammed with promo emails from this company even though I've tried to opt out several times. It's really annoying and it feels like they don't care about what I want or my privacy. It's frustrating to see companies act this way and not respect their customers.
Towels
I recently bought a set of towels from this store. The website said it was a set of two towels, but when I got my order, there was only one towel for each one I bought. I reached out to customer service about it, and they admitted they messed up, but they wouldn't fix it. They just told me to send the towels back in the flimsy bag they came in and go to Canada Post. It was annoying to be told I was in the wrong when it was obviously their mistake.
Turkey ammo for hunting
I just bought some turkey ammo for an upcoming hunt from this program. But when I got my order, I noticed that what I got didn't match up with what was on their website. I was expecting 12 gauge ammo but got 20 gauge instead. When I reached out to customer service about it, they tried to tell me it was my fault, which was really frustrating. This whole situation has left me feeling let down, so I won't be using this program again.
Firearm purchase
I went to the Ashwaubenon location in Wisconsin to buy a gun, and it was a total disaster. I waited over an hour for help, then had to wait another 2 to 3 hours just to do paperwork after making the purchase. It was ridiculous! I ended up leaving and going to a different store where things were much better. I won't be buying a gun from that place ever again, that's for sure.
Two packages
I just bought a few things from this online shop and they arrived in two separate packages. One of the packages got here no problem, but I've been having a hard time with the second one. It's been 18 days and still no sign of it. The store's shipping is a bit of a mess and I'm not happy with how things are going. From now on, I'll stick with Amazon instead of dealing with this hassle.
Hunting gear purchase
Cabela's isn't making people wear masks anymore, and I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed. I couldn't believe it when I saw a customer strolling around without a mask, especially with a little baby. It's really too bad that the staff at Cabela's is letting this kind of thing slide. It's super important to follow the rules set by the government and make sure everyone stays safe. Let's all do our part to stop the virus from spreading.
Express shipping for an item
I paid extra for express shipping on my order to make sure it would arrive by a certain day, but it didn't show up when it was supposed to. I called customer service, and they said it would be there the next day, but that didn't happen either. When I asked for a full refund since my order hadn't arrived as promised, they told me that wasn't possible because the item had already been shipped. So I asked for a refund on the express shipping fee because it was definitely not express. After talking to customer service, I got an email saying my item was coming on the quickest boat possible. Really? I'm starting to think it might be just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Guam.
Outdoor gear
I had a super frustrating experience with my recent online shopping at this website. I put five items in my cart, and they all said they were available when I picked them. But when I tried to pay, they told me one item wasn't in stock. So I had to go back, take it out of my cart, and start over with the checkout. This happened two more times, and I got so annoyed that I just cancelled my whole order. It was such a hassle and made me never want to shop here again.
Trying to purchase fishing bag
I tried to buy a fishing bag that was on sale for club members, but had a really frustrating experience. I had to sign up for a "Club membership" and the Cabela's Capitol One card to get the discount. Then when I went to buy it, I needed a CVV number that I didn't have. I followed the instructions to get a virtual card from Capital One, but couldn't access it without making a previous purchase. I called Capital One and they said I had to wait for the physical card to come in the mail, which would be too late for the sale. This whole thing made me feel tricked and annoyed because it seemed like I was misled about getting the discount easily. It's disappointing that a big brand like them would use sneaky tactics like this. Needless to say, I won't be in a hurry to buy from them again.
Concealed permit gun
As a customer who has a concealed permit, I have been waiting for my 22 gun to be released for almost three weeks now. It's frustrating that even though I passed the screening in the Oregon system, the release process is taking so long. I really hope for a faster solution to this issue.
Buying new gear
So I was super stoked to get some new hunting gear at this store, eh? But, holy smokes, the customer service was brutal, eh! It took ages to even get a hand, and it seemed like they couldn't give a hoot that I was all set to drop some serious cash there. I ended up walking out empty-handed because of the long waits and lack of care. I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere next time, that's for sure.

I just bought some hunting gear from that place. They had a huge selection and the staff really knew their stuff. They answered all my questions and gave me some great recommendations. I was really impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful they were.
Winter boot selection
As a customer from up in Northern Alberta, I gotta say I was really let down by the winter boot choices. I noticed a big difference between what they had for guys and gals when it came to warm and waterproof boots. When you live in a place where the cold can hit crazy lows, you absolutely need the right footwear. It was frustrating to see there weren't many "Bog" style boots for women, especially when you're looking for something that can handle below -40 temps. It's pretty rough to see such a bias towards one gender when it comes to important winter gear. I believe that in this day and age, women should have practical and functional choices that suit their needs in extreme weather.
Gun purchase
As a Canadian citizen who owns several guns, I gotta say I was pretty disappointed with my experience trying to buy a firearm with this program. It was way more complicated than it needed to be, and I felt like I was bending over backwards just to exercise my Second Amendment rights. Definitely the worst gun-buying experience I've ever had, and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone looking to purchase a gun. As if that wasn't bad enough, I even got approved for the program's Mastercard, but now I'm thinking of cancelling it because of the overall negative vibes. Such a waste of time, and I wish I never even bothered giving it a shot.
Camouflage hunting jacket
What a complete disaster of a time we had at the store in Glendale, Arizona. The service was just terrible, the staff wasn't helpful at all, and to top it all off, the system kicked us out while we were waiting in line. We tried to let the staff know about the problem, but they just ignored us and we ended up waiting for nearly an hour. Totally unacceptable!

I just put in an order for same-day store pickup, but it hasn't been going too well. They charged me right away, but it's been 4 days and my stuff still isn't ready for me to pick up. No one's reached out to say it's ready either, even though it was supposedly in stock. And to make things worse, trying to cancel the order has been a huge hassle. I can't even cancel it until the items are finally ready, whenever that may be. I'm really let down by the whole online ordering process and the lack of help from the store's customer service.
Refund process delay
I just reached out to customer service about getting a refund for something I bought. It wasn't smooth sailing, though. The folks I talked to weren't really paying attention - one of them even put me on hold in the middle of our chat! Plus, they told me it would take 3 to 4 weeks to get my money back, which feels like forever.
