bike purchase, disappointed with test ride option
Had a pretty good experience with the staff at Cribbs Causeway, whether online or in person. It was nice to be able to check out the bike up close, but it was a bummer that we couldn't test ride it in Bristol. Making the trip to Clitheroe just for a test ride is not really doable for us.
CGR SL Bike Purchase
I ordered the CGR SL bike and was happy with how quickly it arrived. But I was let down when I discovered the front brake was spongy and the lever was too close to the handlebars. I sent two emails to customer service but haven't heard back, and I couldn't get through on the phone. I'm worried about my safety because of the faulty brakes.
New bike
I just got a new bike from the store and I have to say, I was super impressed with the service I got. Ordering it was really easy and they gave me a date for when it would be sent out. But then I got it a few days earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. They kept me in the loop the whole time, which I really liked. The customer service team knew their stuff and answered all my questions quickly. I'm really happy with my new bike and the whole experience at the store.
Touch up colour for hybrid electric bike
I popped by the showroom in Clitheroe to grab a touch up colour for my hybrid electric bike, and let me tell you, the service was top-notch. The staff there were super helpful and knew their stuff, which made my visit a breeze. The touch up colour I picked up was just what I was looking for, and now my bike looks good as new. Ribble R872 bike purchase
I bought the Ribble R872 bike about 3 years ago and had a really good experience with customer service at that time. I recently had to get in touch with Customer Services because a part was missing, and Matt was awesome - he helped me out quickly, accurately, and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Ribble for their amazing customer service.
Rear hub bearing repair tool
I just contacted the company about a problem with the rear hub bearing on my electric bike. I was really impressed with how quickly they got back to me and the great service I got from Ribble. They sent me a link right away to the special tool I needed for the repair, which helped me fix the problem on my own. The folks at this spot really know what they're doing! I needed a certain e-bike because of my disability, and they went above and beyond to find the right one for me. I recently bought a bike from this store and I gotta say, the customer service was top-notch. Can't remember the names of the customer service peeps I talked to, but they were super quick to reply and really helpful, especially when I had a problem with payment. It's nice to find a company that really cares about customers and goes the extra mile to make sure they're happy.
E-bike purchase
I recently got myself an e-bike from this company and let me tell you, the bike is top quality. The paint job is just stunning, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it looks. But, setting it up has been a bit of a headache. The wires for the d12 gearing keep popping out from the battery in the seat post as I try to put them back in the down tube. I've tried using all sorts of tape to keep them secure, but no luck because of the grease. Now, I'm giving silicon mastic a shot to see if that will solve the problem. Despite this hiccup, I've still managed to take the bike out for a few spins around Cardiff Bay and up to Penarth on the Zigzag path, and the ride itself was amazing. I just gotta fix these gear issues before I can truly enjoy the bike.
Bought a bike
I got this new bike and it's honestly so cool and the price was awesome. They shipped it out super quick, but I kinda messed up my addresses when I was checking out. I accidentally put the wrong delivery address, which was totally my bad. Luckily, they gave me a call to make sure everything was sorted out. All in all, it was such a good experience and I'm absolutely loving my new bike!
Cycling gear and accessories
The folks at this store are super friendly and know their stuff. They really went out of their way to make sure I had a great time. I could set up a test ride on the fly, and they even pointed me in the direction of the perfect clipless pedals. They took the time to guide me through the whole ordering and paying process, which made it all super simple. The online purchase was already pretty smooth, but having Miles help out made it even better.
France touring bike
I bought a touring bike from this store not too long ago and it was a really good time. The store is set up nice with lots of bikes to pick from. The guy helping me out, I think his name was WILL, was super helpful. He walked me through all the different bike choices, making sure I got the right size for my height and reach. We talked about things like the gears, wheels, and seat, and it was clear he knew his stuff. We even bonded over both biking up Mount Ventoux, swapping pictures and stories. All in all, I'd say it was a top-notch experience.
E-bike warranty claim
I had a battery issue with my e-bike not long ago, and Ribble Cycles really came through for me. They were so helpful in helping me through the whole warranty claim process. They gave me clear instructions on what to do, and once they had everything they needed, they quickly picked up my bike, fixed it up, and brought it back to me. They kept me in the loop through email with updates on how things were going. I was really impressed with how smoothly and professionally they handled everything from start to finish.
Electric bike purchase
I recently bought an electric bike from your store in Birmingham, and I gotta say, I was really impressed with the service and the products. The team at the showroom was super helpful and made the whole thing a breeze. The bike even came earlier than I expected, which was a nice surprise. Putting it together, I could tell right away that the parts were top-notch and the bike performs great. I went with the Enthusiast model with the Shimano 105 12-speed setup, and man, the gear changes are smooth as butter. Can't wait to hit the road and enjoy the summer weather on my new ride!

Hybrid bike purchase
Decided to get myself a hybrid bike, so I went down to the showroom in Birmingham to check it out in person. It was good to actually see and test the bike before shelling out a bunch of money. The whole Cycle to Work ordering process was a bit of a pain, not sure if it was Ribble's fault or vivup's mess. They said it should arrive in 3-6 weeks, so keeping my fingers crossed for an earlier delivery. I'll let you know how it rides once I've taken it out for a spin.
Gravel bike purchase
The folks at the bike shop really went above and beyond to make sure my new gravel bike was put together and checked out properly before my vacation. Even though there were some delays with the delivery, they put in the extra work to get my bike ready for the trip. I was so grateful for their hard work, and I definitely noticed the extra effort. And to top it off, my wife is super thrilled with the bike, so it was definitely worth it!
