Lago king bed
Bought the bed, eh, but it ended up being too big for our king-sized mattress, leaving this annoying 4-inch gap, you know? Talked to the concierge, they were nice about it, but didn't really offer a solution even after I sent them photos, eh. Had to end up paying a 10% restocking fee for the return, since they didn't think it was Arhaus' fault. Pretty bad customer service experience, to be honest.
Furniture purchase
I got some furniture and it came right on time, just like they promised. One piece was a little banged up, but they're sending me a replacement on Monday. I'm super happy with their service!
Overpriced, poor quality sofa
I bought a couch from this store not too long ago, and honestly, I'm so disappointed with it. I paid a pretty penny for it, but it's basically garbage. Feathers are always coming out of it and the construction feels weak. My old 30-year-old couch is in better shape. I'm really not satisfied with my purchase. If you're looking for something better, maybe check out Bobs furniture. They have higher quality stuff for way cheaper.
Sectional couch, dining room table, 10 dining room chairs
I recently got some new furniture – a big sectional couch, dining room table, and ten chairs for the dining room. But, to be honest, dealing with the company hasn't been great. The fancy 'performance' fabric we picked out ended up being really poor quality. My dog's muddy paws left stains on it just 2 days after we got it. Even though we got the warranty, they wouldn't clean it, saying it was just 'normal wear and tear'. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to have it cleaned professionally, but it just made the stains worse. The replacement couch they sent had cuts in the fabric from the box cutters. When we told them about it, they just ignored us. I'm so disappointed – the fabric isn't great, the warranty didn't help, and their customer service is seriously lacking.
Sofa Console Table, fur white poofs
So, I recently bought some stuff from this place and oh man, it was a total gong show. None of the items I got looked anything like the pictures online. The Sofa Console Table was like, way darker in person, and those fur white poofs were saggy and smaller than I thought they'd be. When I tried to return them, it was a total nightmare. The delivery was cool, they dropped off my stuff, but when they came to pick it up, it was a whole different story. The head honcho over there was giving me grief about scheduling the pick-up, insisting I wait around all day. Like seriously? I had to fight for a reasonable pick-up time, which was so annoying. The Assistant Manager wasn't much better, couldn't do simple math and kept messing up my refund. I had to explain it over and over till they gave me the right amount back. I won't be shopping there again, what a waste of time and energy. I had to dispute the charges on my credit card just to get my money back for the stuff they were keeping in their warehouse without giving me credit for the returns.
Filmore sofa purchase
I bought a sofa from a furniture store in Wexford, PA recently. Just a week after it was delivered, I saw a finishing nail sticking out from one of the corners. It ripped through my pants and scratched my thigh as I walked by. I told the salesperson about this on December 21st. After a bunch of emails and waiting for 14 days, I finally got a call from the "Concierge" Customer care on January 4th. They said I had to wait until February 3rd for a third-party furniture technician to come and check out the defect. This whole thing is taking way too long, and they're not living up to their promises of great "Concierge" Service. The awesome service I got in the showroom seemed to disappear as soon as I made the purchase. I'm really let down by this whole experience, especially since it was my first time buying from this store.
Couch and nightstand purchase
My experience with the stuff I bought from this store was a total disaster. First off, the $15,000 couch I got showed up with one piece not put together right, causing a lot of trouble to get it sorted out. And then, the $1,500 nightstand I got had the paint start coming off after just three weeks of using it, leading to a long and frustrating ordeal to get it swapped out. All in all, dealing with this company has been nothing but a nightmare, and I wouldn't suggest anyone shop here.
Home furniture
I gotta say, their customer service ain't the best based on my experience, but you can't deny that the furniture at this place is top-notch. Most of the stuff in my home is from there, and besides one issue with a bed that got discontinued pretty quickly, I've been happy with how sturdy and nice-looking their products are. It's a shame that their customer service doesn't match the quality of their furniture, 'cause it can really turn people off. But I gotta give credit where it's due - their furniture's design and quality are outstanding, so it's hard for me to even think about going somewhere else for home furnishings.
Kitchen table, dining chairs, side table
I bought some furniture and man, it was all messed up! The chairs didn't even fit under the table like they were supposed to. When I called to get it fixed, they wanted to charge me a crazy amount to return them even though it was totally their fault. So not cool, eh?
Outdoor pouf purchase
I'm really disappointed with the outdoor pouf I bought recently. When I opened it up, there were bugs crawling around inside and it grossed me out. I quickly sealed it back up and contacted the store's customer service for a refund, sending in pictures of the bugs right away. Unfortunately, they never replied to my email so I decided to call them. The person on the phone gave me a lame excuse about the refund process needing approval from another company. They even said I'd only get my money back once they got theirs. I was so mad that I asked for an email confirming I could throw out the pouf while I waited for the refund. But then the lady on the phone got defensive and refused to send me an email, saying it wasn't their policy. Well, I guess I'll have to call my credit card company to sort out this mess.
Sullivan Sectional
I'm really let down by the Sullivan Sectional - the quality and performance just aren't up to par. The fabric started looking worn out after only four months of normal use, which shouldn't happen with a sofa at this price point. I've had sectionals from other high-end brands that lasted way longer without any problems. And on top of that, the customer service from Arhaus was a letdown too. It took them four months to deny my service request, claiming it was just "normal wear and tear."
Counter stools purchase
I just bought some counter stools for my brand new kitchen. At first, I spotted some really nice ones for $399. I let the salesperson know that I'd be back in a week, once my countertops were in. But when I returned, the price had jumped up to $599! I showed them the salesperson's card with the old price, but they wouldn't budge. The staff, especially the one who claimed prices were set by "corporate", had a really snobby attitude and didn't seem to care much about me as a customer. It was a pretty disappointing experience and definitely didn't leave a good impression on me.
Cancelled order without notice
Overall, my experience with the furniture store has been pretty good. The quality and size of the furniture have met my expectations. But, man, their shipping times are just terrible. I normally don't like to leave negative reviews, but I was really upset when I found out they cancelled an order I placed months ago without telling me. When I reached out to customer service, the person said I had requested the cancellation through email, which was completely false. Even though I've spent a lot of money with them in the past, the person didn't own up to the mistake and just told me to reorder at a higher price. It was really disappointing that they didn't take responsibility, and it might make me stop being a loyal customer.
$20,000 of 15 pieces
I just dropped $20,000 on 15 pieces of furniture and man, it's been a disaster. The salesperson was all nice and friendly when I was buying them, but now it's like they vanished into thin air. I've been trying to find out when my stuff is coming, but they won't give me any info. It's been more than two weeks! And on top of that, they won't even give me my money back for the stuff that's missing.
Desk chair purchase
My experience at Arhaus was so disappointing. The customer service at the Boca Raton showroom was just terrible. The lack of professionalism and communication from the staff blew my mind. When I called the showroom, the phone just kept ringing and nobody would answer. And even when I finally got through to someone, they promised to call me back but never did. It felt like the designers there couldn't make a decision without going through one person. And that person couldn't even get a simple desk chair shipped on time. My money was stuck for months, and now I have to wait for a refund because the chair is no longer available. It's just so frustrating. It's obvious that there are some big issues within the company that need to be fixed right away.
Multiple furniture purchases
I bought a bunch of furniture a while back - an armoire, a bed, a coffee table, a dining table, and a side dresser - and I gotta say, they're top-notch. It's been 6 years since I got them, and they're still in great shape. These pieces are gonna be around for generations, that's for sure. The quality and strength of these things are seriously impressive.
High shipping cost for chairs
I recently tried to buy some chairs for a project in Canada from this furniture store. Even though their website said they ship to Canada for orders over $2,000, I was surprised when they quoted me $10,000 to ship chairs that cost less than $5,000. It seemed like they were trying to rip me off, especially since other American stores have much better shipping rates to Canada. All in all, I was pretty disappointed with this store.
Faulty Christmas tree return
I tried to return a faulty Christmas tree I bought from this company, and let me tell you, the customer service was just terrible. I called them multiple times, but they kept giving me the runaround, saying they needed approval from a third-party vendor for the return. Like, seriously? I bought the tree directly from them! The lack of communication and follow-up from their customer service team was so frustrating and disappointing. After trying 3 times to fix the issue, I've had enough and I won't be ordering from them again. It's really disappointing to see such a well-known company drop the ball on customer service like this.
Ottoman purchase
I recently wanted to buy an ottoman from this store, but was shocked to see the shipping cost was almost half the price of the item! I had made a big purchase at this store three years ago, but now I feel like they're trying to rip me off. I contacted both the store and head office to complain, but they didn't seem to care. Their excuse about it being a new policy didn't sit right with me, so I've decided to shop somewhere else. I'll also be telling my family and friends about this bad experience.
Incorrect chair order
We recently made the mistake of ordering Nomad Snow chairs instead of Nomad Stone chairs from this company for our new home. We needed chairs to match our table, but the similar names and abbreviations made it easy to mix them up. We contacted customer service before the chairs were delivered, hoping to fix the error.
