    Foreign currency purchase

    I recently bought something online and was pretty bummed to see that the prices were all in US dollars, which wasn't made clear right at the start. It made it tough for me to figure out the total cost before buying. On top of that, I ran into problems with the delivery time and getting help from customer service, which didn't help my opinion of the company. I had to ask Customer Service about when my order would arrive, and was told it'd be later than I was originally told. Unfortunately, I couldn't stick around for the longer wait time due to personal reasons, so I asked for a refund. But they said I needed to send back the item first to get the refund, which just wasn't doable for me. The lack of flexibility and understanding on their part was pretty disappointing and unprofessional. Overall, my experience with this company wasn't great, and I'd suggest others watch out for hidden costs and possible issues with delivery and customer service.

    I'm really let down by the service from this company. They totally dropped the ball when it comes to customer service. The dispatch date was missed and it took them days to get back to me when I reached out. It's so frustrating to shell out money for a service and not even get basic communication. I should've checked the reviews before buying, that's for sure.

The pages were printed all wonky! Ended up having to buy another one on Amazon for my course. Such a headache!

    Overpriced book

    I grabbed that book a couple weeks back and paid for rush shipping, but it seriously took ages to show up! I was trying to back out of my order before it got sent out, but they went ahead and shipped it anyways. So now I'm stuck with two of the exact same book. Ugh, total annoyances!

    I bought something hoping I'd get it in 3-5 days, but it ended up taking 10 days to arrive. I was let down 'cause I needed it in 7 days. They didn't send it out for almost a week, so it got delayed. And when it finally came, I saw the back was a bit messed up.     Recent book order

    I bought some books not long ago, but sadly one of them never showed up even though they said it would be in the original delivery. It was a pain trying to get a hold of customer service - took a whole week and loads of emails just to hear back. The lack of communication and how slow they were to answer was super annoying, especially since the books weren't cheap. The whole thing left me feeling pretty let down, so I won't be ordering from them again.

    Textbook and supplemental materials purchase

    I recently bought a textbook and some extra stuff from this company, and let me tell you, I'm pretty disappointed with the customer service. When I had trouble accessing my resources, I was basically on my own with no help right away. Not having a phone number to call just made things worse because I had to rely on emails only. Even after sending a bunch of emails and a screenshot like they asked for, my problem still isn't fixed after more than a week. Waiting this long has made it really hard for me to study for my final exam, and I'm super frustrated and disappointed that they don't seem to care about fixing customer problems quickly.

    I bought an ebook from this company not too long ago, but ran into some trouble trying to get access to it. I reached out to their customer service for help, and they pointed me to this other company called Vitalsource. They were supposed to assist me with my problem, but I couldn't even set up an account with them because of their strict cookie policy. It was super annoying and just made things more difficult. All in all, I was pretty unimpressed with how everything turned out.

    Complimentary desk hard copy of a textbook for a new class

    In my experience, the service at this company has been really disappointing. A few weeks back, I tried to order a free hard copy of a textbook for a new class I was teaching. I asked for the book to be sent to my home address during the summer. However, when the package arrived, Routledge also put my college address on the label, which caused confusion and the package got sent back. The customer service reps knew about the issue, but couldn't fix it. I tried multiple times to sort it out, but got nowhere. This lack of efficiency and responsibility is not okay, especially since I've never had problems like this with other publishers in my 15 years as a teacher. In the end, I had to buy the textbook from somewhere else, which messed up our budget and made me really frustrated.

    I am so frustrated with this company's lack of communication and professionalism. I ordered something weeks ago and still haven't received it. When I asked for an update, they gave me a bogus tracking number that didn't work. It's just not right and now I don't want to buy from them again. Trust me, steer clear of this company.

    Online purchase - delivery issues

    I had a terrible experience with an online purchase recently. I bought something from a company from overseas and got charged unexpected taxes on my credit card. The delivery took way longer than expected, and when I asked about it, I found out that my order was sent back to the warehouse without telling me. I had to send a bunch of emails just to get a replacement order, only to get hit with taxes again when it was redelivered. It was a total nightmare, and I ended up having to pay extra for a package that still didn't have the right address. The whole thing was a disaster from beginning to end.

    Expensive book from a publisher

    So, I'm a grad student and I needed this specific book, right? Well, I ordered it from this one publisher, but then I figured out I could just get it online. I tried to cancel my order, emailed and called customer service, but no luck. They were totally unresponsive, no help at all. They said my order was already on its way and couldn't be cancelled. I was so frustrated and let down by their lack of support. It's really disappointing to see a company treat their customers like that, making us feel ignored. Next time, I'll think twice before ordering from them again.
