Online coding courses for kids
I recently tried out different online coding apps for my kid, but I was always let down until I found this amazing one. They have a wide variety of courses for different levels of skill, and the lessons are really engaging and fun, even for grown-ups. The website is easy to use, making learning a breeze. The only downside was having to download an installer for the more advanced classes, which took a bit of time to work out because of my Mac settings. Overall, this provider is top-notch, and I'm thinking about signing up my kid for their private tutoring program. If their self-paced courses are this good, I can only imagine how helpful their private tutoring will be. I'll update you once I give it a try.
Programming course for children
My kid has been taking this programming course for kids for a few months now, and I gotta say, I'm really impressed with how fast he's been learning. The setup is easy to use and keeps him interested, making learning fun and hands-on. The teachers know their stuff and are super helpful, giving him the help he needs to do well. All in all, I'm super happy with how it's been going and would totally suggest it to any other parents wanting to get their kids into coding.
Minecraft Modding 1:1 lectures
I just wanted to share that my kid has been taking Minecraft modding classes for a while now. It all started during Covid, and it has really helped him stay interested and eager to learn. He's gotten pretty good at Java thanks to these classes. The instructors have switched up a bit, but they've all been really nice and my son has never had any complaints. And on top of that, I've had no issues with communication either.
Coding lessons
I signed up for coding classes not too long ago, 'cause I really wanted to learn how to code. But man, the help I was supposed to get was kinda missing. They didn't give any answers for the quizzes, so I was left feeling lost and annoyed, especially when I got to the tough stuff like Python Robohacker level 4-9. It was hard to know if I was moving in the right direction or getting any better without knowing what "good" even means.
Minecraft modding course
The support on this online platform is so slow and unresponsive. It's hard to communicate with their team and the customer service is basically non-existent. I signed up my son for a Minecraft modding course and ran into a bunch of problems because they weren't clear on what computer specifications were needed. Even though I asked specifically about different computers being compatible, I was given the wrong information and ended up having issues with the software. It's really disappointing how they're not helping or taking responsibility for the problems. I wish I hadn't picked this platform for my son's learning. I really don't recommend using this service.

I signed my kid up for some online coding classes, thinking it would be a cool way to get them into programming. But man, it was a total letdown. The customer service team took forever to get back to us with some canned response that didn't even fix the tech issue we were dealing with. And instead of really helping us out, they just kept pushing us to pay extra for private lessons. On top of that, the courses were super glitchy and frustrating, which made my kid lose interest real quick. All in all, the whole thing was unreliable and pretty useless. Definitely not a good experience for me or my kid.
