    Recent car rental experience

    My recent experience renting a car with Airport Rentals wasn't great at all. I booked a car online and got a price, but when I got there to pick it up, they hit me with extra fees that they didn't tell me about ahead of time. Plus, they didn't give me back the 670eur deposit like they said they would. I was really bummed and felt like I got played by the company.

    Deceptive Car Rental Insurance

    This website is so sneaky, eh. They don't include insurance in the price they first show you for renting a car. When you actually go to get the car, they push you hard to buy their pricey insurance, bumping up the cost big time from what they first said. I've been tricked by this more than once, so I'm telling you all to stay away from this shady stuff.

    Attempted reservation correction

    I just tried to fix a reservation I made with this company because the pick-up and drop-off times were wrong. I tried using their "Change Reservation" link, but I just ended up going in circles and got nowhere. I sent two emails to the company but never heard back. I ended up having to cancel my reservation altogether. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend using this company for your car rental needs.

    Online car rental booking

    Booking a rental car on this website was a total nightmare. I kept getting sent to book with rental places that were closed or unavailable, wasting my time and getting me all worked up. And don't even get me started on the customer service - they were no help at all, acting like total robots. I'd say steer clear of this website for car rentals and go for a more trustworthy service, even if it costs a little extra.

    Trying to rent a car online

    So I was trying to rent a car online, eh? And you won't believe what happened - it was a complete disaster, eh. I filled in all my info and stuff, but then they said my ID was "invalid." Like, what in the world does that even mean, eh? So now I gotta ask for a refund and they're not even getting back to me! I mean, seriously, all I want is my money back, for crying out loud. Definitely the worst experience ever, so don't waste your time renting from there. I should have checked the reviews first, eh?

    Hey, listen to this. I booked two big vans for my nonprofit and when my friends went to get them, they had to pay way more than we were told. I had to call customer service to sort it out, and they were nice, but still, not cool. Definitely going to call back for a refund if they don't fix this!

    I just got insurance from AirportRentalCars for a rental car, and man, what a waste of money. When I went to pick up my car, they told me the insurance I got wasn't accepted. I called the insurance company I bought it from, and they said they'd sort it out and either give me a refund or deal with AirportRentalCars. But nope, AirportRentalCars said their insurance was fine and I didn't need extra coverage.

    Rental mix-up at Orlando airport

    I rented a regular car from Hertz after booking through AirportRentalCars, but they said it was a 2-door standard. I had to pay an extra $30 per day to upgrade even though the website didn't mention that. I reached out to AirportRentalCars for help, but they couldn't resolve the issue. I ended up spending more than I budgeted for the rental. I'm bummed that they didn't offer better customer service, so I won't be using them again.

    Reserved a car from AirportRentalCars

    I booked a car online from this place, but when we arrived, they were all out of cars! They claimed they had the reservation but didn't seem to care and wouldn't give us a car. We had to go to another place and ended up paying a lot more for a rental car. I won't be using this website again, and Priceline can kiss my butt for all I care!

    I had to cancel a Thrifty car rental through this website and it was a nightmare trying to get my money back. I couldn't get a hold of them by phone or email and had to go through all this hassle. I'm never using them again!

    Deceptive, Misleading, Unreliable

    After getting great service before, I was really let down by my most recent rental car booking. The website said I could pick up the rental at Pearson International Airport at 11pm, but when I got there, Payless rentals was closed at that time. I had to take a train and then a shuttle bus to the rental outlet to get the car, which wasn't mentioned on the AirportRentalCars site. The shuttle stops at 11pm when Payless closes, so that was a huge hassle. Since Payless was closed, I had to rent a car from another place at the airport, which cost me extra. When I went back to get my original rental at Payless, they told me they had given it to someone else and charged me $200 more for a different car and fewer days. I sent them an email explaining everything in detail, but all I got back was a generic response offering to cancel my booking, completely ignoring the problems I faced.

    Tried to book a car and the website kept messing up, saying my reservation couldn't be made. Now I've ended up with multiple bookings and they charged me twice. And to top it off, their customer service is terrible - not even a refund in sight.

    Cancelled trip due to Covid-19

    I had to cancel my trip because of Covid-19 and was really counting on getting a refund, but AirportRentalCars wouldn't give me back my money. It was so frustrating, especially with everything going on in the world right now. And on top of that, talking to their customer service team from overseas was a real pain. I wouldn't suggest using their services to anyone.

    Van rental for Cozumel trip

    My experience booking a van rental for our trip to Cozumel was honestly really disappointing. We had reserved a van for 7 people through AirportRentalCars, and they had set us up with a well-known rental company. But when we got to the rental spot, they told us they didn't have a van for us because they had too many bookings. We had to scramble to find another rental company and ended up paying way more than we planned. The whole situation was a mess - no communication, no organization, just frustrating. Honestly, I would not suggest using this service after this experience.
