Not great, but at least I wasn't stuck. I showed up in Bari on Sep 6 for a VW Polo-ish economy car at Karol Wojtyła airport, booking under Deirdre Loader, 10 am. No car. They offered zero help, so I had to scramble and rent something else at much higher cost — ouch. I also paid a deposit of €138.92. Can someone please sort that refund? Had better luck with other companies before, so this was disappointing.

Emotionally I went from annoyed to a little relieved when they followed up, but there are still gaps. I’ll update this after the car hire is finished, but right now I’d say their outreach was decent; their process and transparency need work.

A week later, looking back, I'm relieved we didn't miss our plans, and I can recommend them with a caveat: good cars, shaky process. Not perfect, but it works if you keep your cool and push a bit. Shout-out to the one staff member who actually helped — they calmed things down and explained the paperwork. If they tightened the front desk process this would be a five-star pick for me. For now, it's a recommend with reservations.
