    I just bought a jacket from Sporting Life, and I gotta say, the service in the store was amazing. The staff were so helpful, paid attention to my needs, and were super friendly. But man, dealing with their online customer service was a total disaster. It took forever for them to respond to my messages, and I had no idea what was going on with my order. Canada Post didn't even give me a tracking number, and the jacket got delayed twice. It's a shame that the awesome service I got in-store didn't carry over to their online store.

    Disappointed with Boxing Day Promotion

    I was really let down by the Boxing Day deal at that store. They said it was 50% off with a $100 purchase, but turns out it didn't apply to most things in the store. Such a letdown and a waste of time for me and other customers. They excluded all sale items and a bunch of brands, and didn't mention that clearly before we bought stuff. They need to be more upfront and truthful in their promos to keep from tricking customers.

So I hopped online and it said they still had it in stock. I even tried calling another store to double-check, but they left me hanging on the phone for what felt like forever. Their customer service is seriously the pits. Maybe they should focus less on expanding their huge stores and more on taking care of their customers. I swear, I won't be shopping there again.

    Tennis racquet purchase

    I just bought a tennis racquet from this store and boy, was it a disaster. The person helping me seemed new and said they would re-string it for me, but when I got it back, it was a mess. I wasn't happy at all. I tried to talk to the manager about it, but he was rude and didn't handle it well. I don't get why they would hire people like that. I won't be going back there, that's for sure.

    Winter Jacket

    The customer service at this store was just awful. I felt really disrespected by one of the employees, who was not only unprofessional but also showed some really negative views towards transgender people. The manager I talked to wasn't any better, adding to the bad vibes. It's not right for a store to treat customers this way. On the bright side, the second manager I spoke to was a little nicer, but the service overall was still pretty bad.

    Down jacket order

    My recent experience with ordering a down jacket from Sporting Life was really frustrating. I ordered it online a week ago, but then three days later the company cancelled my order. They said there was a problem with my credit card, but when I checked with my credit card company, they said the payment had actually gone through. It seems like Sporting Life charged me but then cancelled the order anyway. After reaching out by email, they told me to place the order again, so I did right away. But then, to my surprise, they refunded my money and cancelled my order again. This whole back-and-forth was such a hassle and just wasted my time. Despite all of this, I decided to give them one more chance and placed my order for the third time. Let's hope this time everything goes smoothly without any more issues.

    Quick order cancellation denied

    My experience with this online store was so frustrating. I messed up my order and noticed right away, but when I tried to get in touch with customer service to fix it, they said no cancellations allowed. It was a total bummer. And to top it off, there wasn't even a phone number to call – just an email address. Even though my order hadn't been shipped yet, they still made me pay for shipping. Their strict policy and lack of empathy left me feeling super unhappy with my shopping experience. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

    Ski jacket and snow pants

    I recently picked up a ski jacket and snow pants from this store and I gotta say, I’m super impressed with their service. The size and colors were perfect and matched what I ordered. The quality of the gear was even better than I expected, and I’ve been using them on the slopes and loving it.     I ordered a pair of runners online from this store, and when my package was delivered, I was excited to try them on. However, when I checked my property, the package was missing. I contacted SportingLife about this issue, hoping they would help me resolve it, but they simply took a "too bad" stance and I was left out $190 with no runners to show for it. I have never experienced a missing package before, and I was surprised by SportingLife's lack of customer service in this situation. Many companies would offer a refund or replacement in this scenario, especially with shipping insurance in place. I will definitely not be shopping with them again, and I regret my decision to order online from this store.

    So, like, I bought these skis at the beginning of January when they were on sale. They were originally $700 but I managed to get them for $400, which was pretty sweet. But then, it all went downhill because my skis never got shipped out. I talked to customer service a bunch of times, and they told me that my skis had somehow gone missing during processing. Even though they had other skis in stock, they wouldn't send me a replacement and instead kept looking for the ones that were lost. It's pretty frustrating and unprofessional how they're not taking responsibility for their mistake. I asked them to cancel my order or give me a refund, but they wouldn't do either. It's just not cool. This whole situation has left me feeling pretty disappointed and I'd warn others about buying from this store in the future.

    I've gotta tell ya, I'm pretty upset about my recent order from this store. I ordered a pair of shoes and what do I get? The wrong pair! Like, they weren't even close to what I wanted. And to top it off, they were some super cheap clearance shoes - not at all the quality I paid for. I called up Customer Service thinking they'd fix it right away. Nope. They wanted to do some whole investigation that took forever. Like, hello! I already told them they messed up. Then, get this, before I could even get a refund, I had to ship the wrong shoes back through FedEx. The nearest drop-off spot was like an hour away from me, talk about a pain in the butt! And you know what? I still haven't gotten my money back. I tried sending follow-up emails, but crickets. This whole thing has been a massive letdown and you can bet I won't be shopping here again.

    So, I just picked up two pairs of athletic shorts from this store and honestly, I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. The prices were really good, like one pair was $28.97 and the other was $37.97. The quality of the shorts for that price is amazing, so I'll definitely be coming back here for more shopping in the future.

    Two pairs of running shoes

    I don't know what's more annoying - getting just one pair of shoes or dealing with the lack of communication and follow-up from this company. I live in a condo building with lots of people, and my delivery never arrived at my door. I've tried multiple times to get a refund for the missing shoes, but haven't heard anything back or gotten any solutions. It's like throwing $200 down the drain for no reason.

    So, listen, I got this super cool jacket and some snow pants from this store and I was so pumped about it! But when I got home, the jacket was way too big and the snow pants were too small. When I went back to return them, the person working there was super rude and wouldn't let me return the jacket even though they said I could. And when I tried to swap the snow pants for a bigger size, they gave me the wrong ones! How hard is it to get the right size, seriously? I even called them up and they were like, "check online"! Um, hi, I'm already in your store, why would I look online? Ugh, frustrating.

Instead of helping me out by transferring the boots or holding them for me, I was just told to either order online or go to a different location to pick them up. The manager even explained that it's their policy to make customers deal with their inventory issues on their own instead of giving a hand. Not gonna lie, it was pretty frustrating, and to top it off, the manager's bad attitude just made the whole thing a lot worse.

    Eh, so I tried to buy a ski set online from this store, right? And guess what? They canceled my order TWO times! They said it was in stock when I bought it, but then they were like, "Oops, sorry, actually it's out of stock now." And when I checked their website, it still said they had it in stock! What a bunch of phonies. I could have gotten a better deal somewhere else, but nope, they had to go and mess everything up. Not cool, eh.
