Overseas shipping purchase
They told me I wouldn't have to pay taxes, but I ended up having to. Not only that, but they lost my stuff and won't give me a refund. I lost $100 because of their terrible service and company.
Satechi HDD enclosure purchase
I just bought a HDD enclosure from a popular brand in Space Grey, but when I got it, the colour was more Silver than I expected. I reached out to customer service, sent photos, but their responses weren't helpful and the issue wasn't resolved. So, I'm returning it and looking for a different brand. Overall, the whole colour mix-up and lack of good customer service has left me feeling let down by the brand.
Sh***y USB-C adapter
This USB-C adapter was totally useless. I mean, it seemed okay at first, even though it seemed like a cheap knock-off and wasn't even the color I ordered. But after just three days, it decided to stop working altogether. I tried everything, but it only ended up being able to charge my device. I'm super bummed about this product and definitely won't be buying anything else from that company.
Hub Adapter Purchase
I recently bought a hub adapter from this company, and let me tell you, I am pretty disappointed with the whole thing. I was expecting the product to show up fast, so I shelled out some extra cash for expedited shipping. But instead of sending it by courier like I thought, they just sent it regular mail. So of course, it took way longer to get to me. After a whole week of waiting with no package in sight, I ended up going to a local tech store to get a similar item. And to top it all off, when I called to ask about my order, the person on the other end was super rude. All in all, it's been a rough experience and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Bluetooth headphones
I got some Bluetooth headphones from this company and man, I gotta tell ya, it was a total letdown. The customer service was terrible - they took forever to get back to me, and when they finally did, they were no help at all and just brushed me off. And to top it all off, my order didn't even make it to me because the delivery guy just left it on my doorstep by a busy street, which is totally not okay. I tried reaching out to get some help, but they didn't wanna lend a hand at all. No way am I buying from them again, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.
"Aluminum USB hub"
I just bought this aluminum USB hub from an online store, thinking it would be top-notch and really sturdy. But man, was I wrong! This thing is total junk - made of flimsy plastic and falling apart as soon as I tried to use it. Talk about a letdown! The description totally fibbed about the quality, and now I'm stuck feeling disappointed and ripped off. I wouldn't suggest this to anyone.
Bluetooth speaker
So, you know, I got this Bluetooth speaker from this place and let me tell you, it's pretty cool. But the customer service? Terrible. I tried emailing them about a question I had, and guess what? No response at all! Like, what are they even doing over there? And don't even get me started on their voicemail. I left a message, thinking maybe they'll call me back. Nope, no call back. Like, what's the point of having a voicemail if you're not going to call people back, right? Honestly, I would say don't even bother buying from them, it's not worth the hassle.
Backlit keyboard purchase
I just bought a backlit keyboard online and at first, it was awesome - like the best keyboard I'd ever had. But then, after a few months, it started acting up and I couldn't even use it properly. So, I reached out to customer support and I was actually shocked by how quickly and thoroughly they got back to me. They sent me a new keyboard right away, no questions asked about sending back the faulty one. Even though I'm grateful for their great service, I'm a little hesitant about the product's quality.
Wireless keyboard replacement
I got my new wireless keyboard from this place after FedEx messed up and left my parcel with a fake signature on my doorstep. Satechi was quick to resend the keyboard and did it right away, no questions asked. Big shoutout to them for saving the day, eh!
Awesome customer service
I had a keyboard that suddenly stopped working. I got in touch with customer service, explained the situation, sent a few details, and they sent me a new one right away. I've been a fan of their products for years and will definitely continue to buy from them!
Product Quality Review
I bought something not too long ago and now, after only four months, I can tell that the quality has really gone downhill. The plastic material is covered in scratches, which is really disappointing. Honestly, the durability and how long it lasts have let me down and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Expensive hub adapter
I bought a hub adapter from this company for a pretty penny, thinking it would be top-notch because of its nice design. But after using it just a little bit, the cable decided to give up on me. My screen started showing weird stuff and the colors were all over the place. They expected me to fork out extra cash for shipping just to send it back for a new one, which I thought was ridiculous. The replacement they sent me also started acting up after just a little bit of use. The cable is obviously not made to last and can't handle regular wear and tear. I'd suggest steering clear of this product at all costs.
Recent order support
I just wanted to share that I had a bit of trouble with my order, but the customer service team really came through and helped me out. They were so quick to respond, super helpful, and really made sure I was happy with everything in the end. It was obvious that they cared about their customers and wanted to make sure we had a great experience.
Slim W1 Wired USB-C Keyboard
Picked up this keyboard on my vacation and it's got this annoying issue where keys keep repeating with just one tap, seems like the debounce isn't right. Couldn't take it back to the store 'cause I only noticed the problem after getting back home. It's kind of frustrating that a company can still put out a product with such a basic problem in this day and age. Their customer service said they'd replace it for me at no cost, but made it sound like it was a big favor. Seems like there's a fundamental flaw in the design of the keyboard that needs fixing. Now I've had to resort to using some third-party software on my Mac to fix the debounce problem, which is far from ideal. Doubt I'll be buying anything from them again.
Bluetooth speaker purchase
I recently bought a Bluetooth speaker and man, was I disappointed with the quality. It was supposed to be top-notch but it was defective right from the get-go. And to top it off, the warranty was super short. Dealing with the manufacturer was a pain - they didn't really care about my issue, especially since I didn't buy it directly from them or Amazon. I had to deal with a retailer or distributor in my area who had nothing to do with the product being faulty. It was a frustrating and overall disappointing experience. I would definitely recommend steering clear of this company.
Faulty keyboard
My keyboard just up and quit on me unexpectedly. I tried reaching out to customer service for some assistance but they were dragging their feet in getting back to me. And when they finally did, they had the nerve to deny me a replacement for my busted product. Can you believe it? Talk about awful customer service! And to top it all off, the darn thing broke right after the warranty expired. Coincidence? Yeah, right.
Replacement key cap
So I had this little incident with one of the keys on my keyboard - it broke. I reached out to customer service to see if I could buy a replacement key cap, but no luck. They basically told me I had to get a whole new keyboard because of that tiny piece of plastic. Like, seriously? Seems pretty unfair to the customer and not very eco-friendly to just toss out a perfectly good keyboard over a little 2mm plastic bit.
Bluetooth numeric keypad purchase for my Apple magic keyboard
I bought a Bluetooth numeric keypad to go with my Apple magic keyboard, but it didn't work how I hoped. So, I reached out to support for some help, but all they said was that the keypad wasn't compatible with my keyboard. They didn't offer any help with returning it or getting a refund either.
Defective wireless keyboard
I recently bought a wireless keyboard online and unfortunately, it arrived defective. It was the last one in stock, so I couldn't swap it for a new one. I found the manufacturer's support email on the packaging and reached out to see if they could either fix it or send me a replacement. Turns out the online platform where I bought it wasn't an authorized seller of the brand, so they said they couldn't help me. I argued that a faulty product should still be under warranty no matter where it was bought. The customer service rep initially seemed understanding and mentioned the possibility of an exception for my case. He even asked me to get confirmation from the seller that they couldn't replace it, which I got through a chat with their customer service team. But then he went back on his offer to help, leaving me frustrated and disappointed with the brand's service. The back-and-forth emails just made me more frustrated, and despite my hopes for a solution, it felt like my concerns weren't being taken seriously. Ultimately, I expressed my disappointment with the situation and made it clear that the whole experience had turned me off from the brand, making it unlikely for me to buy from them again.
