    I've been a loyal customer of this brand for many years now, and I've really seen how their products and services have changed over time. Even though the company has gone from being a family business to part of a bigger company, the quality of their shoes has stayed consistently great. When I recently went to the store in the Polaris Fashion Center in Columbus, I got amazing service from this guy named James Dunn. I only went in looking to buy a couple of new pairs of shoes for work, but I ended up walking out with four pairs of shoes and three belts, all thanks to James helping me out. I'm glad I decided to go to the store because I found out my shoe size had changed a bit over the years. I'd recommend not paying attention to any bad reviews about this brand and instead going to a store to try on a pair. You won't be let down by the top-notch quality and workmanship of these shoes, even if they cost more than other options.

    I just bought a pair of shoes from this store during the pandemic, and I gotta say, I'm really happy with how they look and feel. The quality and style are top-notch! Yeah, there were some shipping delays, but I get it - times are tough right now. I'd suggest going with regular shipping instead of the faster option to sidestep any annoyances. And hey, if your package is MIA, don't blame the store - it's all on the shipping company. Despite all that, I'm pleased with my purchase and will definitely be back to shop here again.

    My order got cancelled

    So basically, I ordered something and they were like "oops sorry cancelled" three freakin' times! And their customer service is absolute garbage, I mean it takes ages to get a refund, like 6 whole weeks, can you believe it? And apparently they used to be good with customer service, but now it's like it doesn't even exist. Honestly, maybe it's for the best though because I hear their products aren't even that great anymore, so like, see ya later!

    Re-crafting payment issue

    I had a bit of a problem with Allen Edmonds when I tried to pay for re-crafting services. They used to take checks but now they want you to write down your credit card details instead. With all the worry about credit card fraud nowadays, this seems like a pretty risky and annoying policy for customers. It's too bad to see a company known for great products and service make a choice that could harm their customers.

    I went to this store recently and I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with their customer service. The guy, Zac, was so not on the ball - he was always on his phone and didn't really help me out at all. He didn't know much about the products and didn't even try to talk to me or sell me anything. It was super unprofessional, especially for a fancy brand like this one. Plus, the store itself was a mess - trash cans overflowing from the day before. It just made the whole shopping experience pretty bad. They really need to step up their game and fix these things for better customer satisfaction in the future.

    I used to really like this company, but my last interaction with them left a bad taste in my mouth. They hit me with unexpected fees and their customer service was seriously lacking. Their website didn't give me all the info I needed on restocking fees and I never got my shipping fee refunded after returning an item. To top it off, I couldn't even swap out my item for the right size. I'm pretty bummed out and won't be shopping with them again.

    Recent purchase disappointment

    The shoes I bought from that company recently were such a disappointment. The quality has gone downhill in the past few years. The leather they use isn't as nice as it used to be, and now they're using cheaper shoelaces instead of the wax ones on the fancy shoes. I reached out to customer service to tell them how I felt, and all they said was "sorry, we'll pass it on to the folks in manufacturing."

    I bought some shoes online not too long ago, but I was pretty disappointed with what I got. The shoes were all scuffed up and looked like they had been worn before. So I sent them back right away and was really bummed out by the lack of care in their products. And it didn't stop there - the customer service I got was just as bad.     I just bought shoes, a belt, shoe polish, and shoe wax all in one order. But then I got an email saying the shoes were out of stock and my order got cancelled. No heads up or anything. Pretty bummed about it because I got all those extras to match the shoes. Now I have to deal with returning stuff I don't need anymore.

    Ordered shoes online, wrong size, exchanged

    I bought some shoes online, but they showed up in the wrong size. So, I sent them back through Fed Ex to swap for the right size. The thing is, they said they wouldn't do a direct exchange, but only offer me store credit for a future purchase. So, I had to buy the correct size again and got charged once more. When I asked about a refund for the first pair, they said it would only take 1-2 days. But then, I was told via email that it would actually take 12-15 days. Every time I call them, it seems like the wait time just gets longer because nobody picks up. I shot them another email, mentioning that I'll have my credit card company stop the payment if they don't sort this out.

    Cyber Monday shoe purchase

    I recently had a bummer of an experience with my Cyber Monday shoe purchase. I had my eye on a pair of shoes online that I was planning to snag on that day. But when I gave the call to place my order, they broke the bad news that the shoes were discontinued and weren't going to be restocked. The person I talked to didn't suggest any other options, which just ended up making me feel annoyed and let down with their customer service. It kind of seems like using holiday deals to unload discontinued stuff without caring about customer happiness isn't the best way to do business.

They eventually admitted they were faulty but only offered me a credit that wouldn't even cover the cost of new shoes. That's not cool for a company that's supposed to be trustworthy.
