RV Rental
I recently rented an RV through this service and had a bit of a mixed experience. I made the reservation using my account and initially found out that I would be the main driver. However, when I wanted to add an additional driver, I was shocked to discover that there would be an extra charge. Since I don't normally drive, I had to change the main driver. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with a customer representative named Hall who was incredibly helpful. He patiently and professionally guided me through the entire process, including successfully cancelling the reservation and getting a full refund since I was still within the grace period. I really appreciated Hall's support during this time. However, I do have some reservations about the ordering platform itself. I found it to be not very user-friendly and logical. The process seemed a bit unreasonable to me, especially the fact that charges were already being initiated before I had completed all of the crucial steps. I believe that all steps should allow for modifications before final confirmation. Hopefully, this aspect of the ordering process will be improved in the future.
Recent RV rental experience
So I gotta say, I'd give it a solid 5 stars! Whenever I had questions or needed help, I could just jump on the online chat and they really knew what they were talking about. I've only been using it for a few weeks, but I think I've got everything all set up and ready to go. I haven't actually booked anything just yet though, 'cause it's still pretty early in camping season around here. I'll be sure to keep you updated on how things go once I actually rent out my RV!
Exceptional customer service experience
I just wanted to share how awesome my experience was working with someone from the customer experience team at RV Share. Neil (B) went above and beyond to help us out when our recreational vehicle got damaged. He was so caring and professional, making sure to take care of our needs and address our concerns right away. It was really nice to meet someone so dedicated and understanding, and it made me feel good about choosing to work with a company like RV Share.
RV rentals experience
I've used this platform to rent RVs before and had good experiences. I rented a 32-foot and 33-foot RV in the past. The communication between RV Share and the RV owner was good, making the rental process smooth. I did have a small problem with my email, but Cody, the IT manager, fixed it quickly. I think this platform is a reliable choice for renting RVs. I rented in September/October 2023 and already have a trip planned for May 2024.

I had a great time trying to find out about my rental. The person I talked to was super helpful and answered all my questions quickly. I really liked how they were able to help me and know so much. In general, it was easy and smooth to gather all the information.
My RV account issue
I had an issue with my RV account, but Andie from the chat help team really came through for me! They were so friendly and patient, explaining everything without any hint of irritation. They fixed my account in a jiffy!

Primary driver adjustment
I had a little mix-up on my account because I accidentally put my husband's name as the main driver instead of mine. Luckily, a super helpful employee named Eden R came to the rescue and fixed it for me in no time. Eden was really patient and walked me through how to update the driver info so I could still rent a camper. Thanks to him, my fam and I can look forward to our camping adventure without any worries.
Customer service experience
I had a great customer service experience with RV Share. The guy I spoke with, let's call him Ross, was super helpful and knew his stuff. He took his time explaining things in a way that was easy to understand, which made fixing my problem quick and easy. It was nice to have a phone number to reach out to for help, like the one Ross gave me. All in all, I was really happy with how RV Share handled everything.
Quick re-booking assistance
I just talked to a really nice rep who was patient and super helpful. Even though I didn't finish booking at first, they ended up cancelling the reservation for me. Eden, the rep, helped me make a last-minute booking, walking me through everything and making sure to check availability thoroughly. I was really impressed with the great customer service and help I got during this whole thing.

Yeah, so this awesome thing happened with my RV buddy. He totally helped me out by changing my booking date and adding more pictures to my listing. He was super fast, really professional, and just so helpful throughout the whole process. I definitely suggest him to anyone needing assistance with their RV stuff. Insurance surprise
Dale really helped us out when we got stuck with unexpected insurance costs from the owner. It was super annoying to be surprised with an extra $79.00 charge for interior insurance that wasn't even mentioned in our rental agreement. The owner should have been upfront about this requirement to avoid any frustrations and surprises for renters like us. My wife ended up covering the cost, but I was so close to just cancelling the rental and asking for a refund plus interest, or even seeking legal help. Renting an RV should be straightforward, with all fees and rules clearly laid out from the start, for the benefit of both renters and owners. It felt kind of unfair to suddenly tack on extra charges without proper communication or agreement beforehand.

I rented a camper van for a family trip and it was so awesome! The website made a mistake and forgot to mention an extra fee, but the person I chatted with was really nice and sorted it all out for me.

Renting an RV was super easy and stress-free. We found the perfect RV for our trip and booking it was a breeze. The owners were really helpful and answered all our questions quickly. Even though we had to cancel our trip, the process was simple and the fee was fair. I would totally suggest this service to friends and family down the line.
Unresponsive RV owners
I tried to book two RVs through RV Share, but both got denied because the owners didn't answer. I gave all the info they needed and I know how to tow trailers, so I was really annoyed and disappointed with the whole thing. Peer-to-peer renting should mean the RV owners actually communicate, but it seems like they don't have to on RV Share.
