Ticket purchase for theme park
As a customer at this online ticket seller, I gotta say, my experience was just terrible. I thought I was getting tickets for a theme park visit, but turns out they were totally useless. And when I tried to get my money back, the customer service was no help at all. It's pretty obvious this company is up to no good, so I definitely think they should be reported to the Better Business Bureau to stop others from getting scammed.
Disappointment with customer service
I'm really disappointed with the customer service from this company. I had a problem with something I bought and tried to use their 365-day money-back guarantee. But they weren't helpful at all and seemed like they just wanted to pass me off to someone else so they wouldn't have to deal with it. It was so frustrating and took up so much of my time and effort trying to fix things. I'll definitely be warning my friends and family to steer clear of this company.
Hotel reservation
The whole process at checkout was just a complete disaster because we had some issues with payment verification. Finally, we were able to get a booking confirmed. But, when we got to the hotel, we found out our reservation got cancelled even though we were already charged the full amount. We had to end up paying extra for a last-minute booking at a more expensive rate. We haven't heard anything back from the company about a refund. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.
Theme park vouchers
So I gotta say, my experience trying to redeem my theme park vouchers from Undercover Tourist was pretty disappointing. I mean, I had to wait around forever at the theme parks while the staff tried to figure out how to handle my vouchers. It was super stressful and just not cool. I get that maybe it wasn't all Undercover Tourist's fault, but the fact that not all places recognized the vouchers just made everything more annoying. Like, at Aquatica, I had to stand in line for a manager to print out actual tickets - talk about a hassle. In the end, the money I saved on the vouchers just didn't seem worth the trouble of worrying about them not being accepted at the parks.
1-day Disney tix for kids
OMG, we were up so late when my folks got us those tickets for Disneyland! They couldn't find any 1-day passes anywhere else, and they were worried they wouldn't nab the date they wanted. But thankfully, Undercover Tourist saved the day! They snagged the tickets super easily, paid with PayPal, and got them right away. They even chatted with a lovely person named Louise before booking. With the reference number on the tickets, they had no trouble making that park reservation on the Disney site. We're all jazzed to hit up Disneyland now!
Bad purchase
They went ahead with my order without even checking with me first, which is so not cool. I thought of going elsewhere, but then I got an email saying the purchase went through! I phoned them and they initially said they'd refund me, but later changed their minds and said no way, no refund for you. They are a bunch of dishonest liars!
Disneyland tickets purchase
The Disneyland tickets I got were such a good deal, eh, but man, oh man, the hotel reservation? Total disaster. They messed it all up, didn't reserve it like they were supposed to, and we had to scramble last minute and pay an extra 300 bucks, don't cha know. And when we tried to get it sorted out, all we got back were useless and not-at-all helpful responses. Such a bummer, eh. So now, I've switched over to using Klook for all my travel needs moving forward.
Overpriced tickets
I wish I had checked out the reviews before buying my tickets from this company. I got what I thought was a sweet deal on 4 adult tickets to a super popular theme park, only to realize later on that I overpaid big time. The theme park's own website had the exact same tickets for way cheaper, which made me feel like I got ripped off by this company. When I contacted Undercover Tourist about the price difference, they didn't seem to care at all and flat out refused to give me a refund. I definitely won't be making that same mistake again, and I can't honestly recommend this company to anyone.
Double charged
They charged my card twice and when I asked about it, they said they only charged once even though I showed proof of two separate payments. Now my family and I have no money for 2 days because of the second charge taking all our funds. Really upset with how this company dealt with the problem.
Disneyland tickets purchase
I recently bought three tickets for Disneyland and everything went really well. At first, I was a bit unsure because of some bad reviews I had seen, but I decided to give it a shot since they were giving a discount. I had to confirm my purchase by entering the amount they had put on hold on my credit card, but it was easy. Once I did that, I got the tickets right away. I was happy to see that the tickets were legit and I could use them on the Disney website without any problems. Overall, I was happy with the whole experience and would definitely think about using their service again down the road.
Online ticket purchase
This website is super frustrating, eh. I bought tickets online and had an issue with my order. When I tried to reach customer service, they were just so confusing, eh. It's like they were trying their darnedest to not help me out. I sent screenshots, explained multiple times, and even gave them a call, but nothing seemed to work, eh. It's like they wanted me to just throw in the towel and stop looking for help. Total scam, eh! Better steer clear of this website!
Universal Studios VIP tour tickets
So, I bought VIP tour tickets for Universal Studios from this company not too long ago and ran into some problems trying to change the tour time. When I contacted their customer service for help, I got mixed messages about who could actually assist me. It took some back and forth, but eventually, I ended up having to buy new tickets and get a refund for the first ones. But then, to make matters worse, the new tickets weren't working on the Universal app. Even though I tried to bring up my concerns, the support team didn't really give me a satisfying solution, and now I'm left feeling frustrated and uncertain about my upcoming trip.
New York City pass purchase
I just bought a New York City pass online and I was really let down when I found out I couldn't get a refund. It felt like a scam, so I'd recommend everyone to steer clear and just deal with the company directly.
Tickets refund
I recently had to get a refund on my tickets, eh? I gotta say, the customer service was top-notch, you know? The communication and reassurance I got during this tricky situation was just fantastic, eh? Dealing with refunds can be a pain, but the folks at Undercover Tourist made it all smooth sailing, no stress at all, right? I'm thankful for their help and I'll for sure think about using them again down the road, eh?
Concert ticket purchase
Don’t bother getting concert tickets from them unless you’re cool with waiting forever to actually get them. They’re quick to grab your cash, but then you’re left hanging until the ticket seller reaches out. And forget about getting a refund if you have a change of heart. Spare yourself the headache and steer clear of buying from them. When I called to check on my tickets, the customer service was not helpful and kind of rude. They conveniently “lost” a discount voucher when I was checking out. All in all, a disappointing and irritating time.
Disneyland Tickets
I bought Disneyland tickets from this site a while ago and still haven't got them, even though it's been a week since I got the order confirmation. I've tried reaching out to customer service a bunch of times through messages and emails, but only got one call back saying they'd fix it, which they haven't done. Their customer service is seriously lacking, so now I'm trying to cancel my order, which I think is going to take another couple of weeks. I'd suggest steering clear of this site and just buying your tickets straight from Disney's website.
