Our guide was awesome, eh? Super friendly, always on time, and had us laughing non-stop. He knew all the best spots to avoid the crowds without making us get up too early, and he took us to a great place to eat. Looking back, I probably should have skipped the Shakadang Trail - by the end of the day, I was pooped and the rest of Taroko Gorge was way more interesting to me. I hopped on this water taxi in Venice and let me tell ya, it was awesome! It showed up right on schedule both times, and cruising from my hotel to the airport and back was a blast. It really was the perfect way to check out Venice - so stunning! The only downside was that they didn't confirm the departure time, so I had to give 'em a call on the day of.
