I got nailed for VAT twice and getting refunded was a bureaucratic nightmare. AliExpress charges VAT up front but some sellers don’t add the VOEC info, so the carrier asks for tax again to release the parcel. Tried the refund route — useless, long forms and runaround. If you’re buying to Norway, ask the seller to confirm VOEC first. Wish the platform would just fix it.

So, guys, I ordered this new slow cooker insert, right? But when it got here, it was totally the wrong one for my crock pot! I had to go through a ton of trouble trying to get in touch with them and explain the mix-up, and then when I finally sent it back like they asked, it somehow got lost in the mail. And then they were all, "Oh, we found it, but sorry, it's too late for a refund." Seriously, where's my money, man? This company is totally sketchy and I feel completely scammed. I wouldn't recommend buying from them, seriously.
