Flight cancellation compensation
I had to deal with a cancelled flight just one day before I was supposed to go, and I tried to get compensated directly from the airline. They said no because of a reason that wasn't true. I waited a year and a half before deciding to ask AirHelp for help. The whole experience with them was great - from filling out forms to getting updates and advice on what to do next. They sorted out my case quickly, and the airline agreed to pay up only five days after AirHelp got involved. I got my compensation on May 17th, just 22 days after I first asked for help.
Compensation request for disrupted trip
I was so happy to finally find a fix for all the hiccups we had during our trip to Europe. It was nice getting $150 back for all the hassle, but I have to admit, I was kinda bummed that it didn't totally make up for missing out on Rome for 2 days.
