When AirHelp first got in touch with me a few weeks after my flight got delayed for over 3 hours, I was a bit wary about what they had to offer. I was thinking, "I can probably manage this on my own and keep all the compensation for myself." But then, the thought of trying to figure out the whole process by myself was just too much, especially with everything else I had going on at that time. After some back and forth, I decided to let AirHelp take care of my claim. What really caught my attention was that I didn't have to pay anything upfront. They would only get a cut of the compensation if they were successful, kind of like how lawyers operate. It did take a while, almost six months, but in the end AirHelp was able to secure a few hundred dollars for me. I was so happy to finally find a fix for all the hiccups we had during our trip to Europe. It was nice getting $150 back for all the hassle, but I have to admit, I was kinda bummed that it didn't totally make up for missing out on Rome for 2 days. We had to skip out on our hotel and Vatican tickets, and that added up real quick. It's good to know there's a service out there to help out in times like this, but I was really hoping for a bit more to cover all our expenses.
