Subscription for workout programs
The workout programs they offer are fine, but the super high-energy vibe can be a bit overwhelming for me. Plus, canceling my subscription was a total nightmare. They kept charging me even after I thought I had canceled.
Workout convenience app
Moving out to the suburbs has definitely made it tough to attend classes, but thankfully Aaptiv has been a total lifesaver for my workout routine. It allows me to work out anytime and anywhere, which keeps me pumped up and focused. The trainers always throw in some tough workouts and the music choices are top-notch. Right now, I'm using the app to help me train for a 5k, even though I'm not a big fan of running. And the new scheduling feature is a fantastic bonus, helping me stay on top of things and stay motivated.
Online fitness classes
I loved the idea of this service - getting personal training through audio with awesome music. But things have changed a lot in the last month and it's not the same anymore. They got rid of the best trainers and music choices, and now they took out a bunch of programs I really enjoyed. I'm pretty let down by where this company is heading, and it's made me lose my excitement for it.
Unauthorized recurring charges
I just found out that I've been getting charged for a subscription I never signed up for over the last three years. I always cancel free trials, but I still got charged for a service I didn't even know I had. It's not right that the company won't give me a refund, so I'm gonna take this up with the right people.
Quick refund process
I didn't use it much at the beginning and ended up forgetting to cancel within the first month. I contacted chat support and they refunded most of the annual fee, which was really nice of them. I was surprised they didn't make a fuss about it.
Fitness program subscription
This fitness program subscription has been a game changer for me, eh. The mix of motivation, training, and real "person" coaches has totally changed how I see fitness. The coaches are super engaging and make you feel like they're your own personal cheerleaders. Using social media and real face-to-face interaction really sets this program apart from the rest, eh. I really hope they keep up the personal touch as the program grows. Thanks, eh!
Auto renewal subscription without reminder email
I was pretty bummed when I found out my subscription automatically renewed without a heads up email. Seemed a bit sketchy to me and got me wondering about the company's ethics. Feels like a sneaky way for them to make some extra cash, especially since the app itself isn’t all that impressive.
But, when I got in touch with them, I was pleasantly surprised by how great their customer service was. The reps were super nice, knew their stuff, and really helped address my concerns. I really appreciated their follow-up and how they handled everything so professionally. Despite my initial frustrations, I gotta give them props for their excellent customer service and commitment to fixing things up.Online fitness subscription
So, I signed up for this online fitness platform recently and it was kind of a mixed bag for me. I have to be honest, I totally forgot to cancel my subscription before the free trial ended and that was totally on me. When I finally decided to cancel, I couldn't figure out how to do it directly through my account so I had to shoot an email to customer service.
Anyways, I did have fun trying out some of the running workouts they had on there. The coaches on the platform are super pumped up, which might not be everyone's thing, but I liked that I could filter for specific coaches, music genres, and types of exercises. One bummer though was that in some of the workouts, the music was blasting so loud that it was hard to hear the coach. Not sure if there's a way to adjust that but it would be nice if there was.
I really wish they had some outdoor cycling workouts available too. That would be awesome for all the cycling fanatics out there. And it would be cool if we could play our own music during workouts, but sadly that's not an option.Cancelled subscription
I had to cancel my subscription with that company because I found a better app for my workouts. Even though I cancelled it two months ago and made sure I couldn't access it, they tried charging me for an annual subscription this morning. I got in touch with them right away and they fixed it by reversing the charges. It seems like they might be trying to sneak in charges on people who aren't paying close attention to their money. This sketchy move has definitely turned me off, and I won't be telling anyone to use that app from now on.
Fitness app review
I've been using this fitness app for a couple of years now and I gotta say, it's pretty darn useful. I really prefer the audio workouts over the videos, and being able to link it up with other platforms like Audible is a nice bonus. It's super convenient for me, especially when I'm on the go or need to unwind with some meditation. I'm hoping they keep adding new types of workouts to keep things fresh. I'm not a big fan of the 'coach' feature though, so I usually skip it and jump straight into a category or collection. The '# days of streak' really gets me going and keeps me motivated. The fitness trainers are top-notch and really help keep me on track. All in all, I totally recommend this app as a great fitness option.
Maternity fitness program
I'm not really sure how to do most exercises, so it's nice to be able to watch and learn. The app only has audio workouts, which is fine. I decided to sign up for the trial to give the maternity program workouts a try, but now that I'm in the second trimester, I'm a bit worried about exercises like crunches (not great for lying on your back) and walking lunges (hormones can make your joints hurt). It seems like these workouts might not be very safe for pregnancy. I don't think I would want to pay $100 a year for this.
Yearly subscription trap
Tried out the app for a bit, didn't really like it, and then got hit with a charge for a whole year out of nowhere. Couldn't even get my money back even though I didn't want to keep the subscription. Definitely not worth the cash.
Unforeseen subscription charge
I have a story to share about this subscription service that charged me $99 out of the blue. I hadn't even used the app in a year and then I saw the charge on my bank statement. I looked through my emails for any heads up about the renewal, but there was nothing there. I'm pretty upset about the way this company handled everything - they wouldn't even give me a refund when I asked for one.
Exercise app
Hey, so I downloaded this exercise app and was really excited to give it a try, you know? But, like, there were only instructions for running and no visual aids or videos to help me out. Lots of other users were also frustrated and complained about it, but the app developers didn't bother to make any changes. That's why I decided not to get the annual subscription. It's just so annoying, you feel me?
Auto-renewal subscription
The automatic subscription renewal seems so sneaky, like they're trying to pull a fast one on us. They charge $99 every year and they just count on people forgetting so they can keep raking in the cash. They don't even bother sending reminders or giving refunds, which leaves a lot of us feeling let down. The customer service page is flooded with complaints about this, which really puts a damper on the whole membership. People are losing trust in this company more than ever.
Year Subscription Charge
I got stuck with a year subscription fee cuz of a personal tragedy right after the free trial ended and couldn't switch to a monthly plan. I tried contacting the company and app store to sort it out, but no luck.
Exercise app feedback
The app's got a lot of options for workouts, but I noticed the playlists could use a bit of an update. It'd be handy if they showed the song list so you could skip a workout if the music's not your thing. It'd also be good to see which workouts I didn't like so I don't pick them again. And how about adding calorie and distance info for walks or meditations? It'd make it easier to keep track of everything in one place.
Unauthorized charges
I never even used this service before and suddenly got charged $99. I don't even have an account to use any services from them. Also, they won't confirm if they removed my info. Isn't this totally a scam? I'm shocked and so disappointed. Make sure to check reviews before buying or downloading anything.
Free trial issues
I read reviews from other customers who didn't get their money back after a free trial, but I still wanted to try it. I only used the trial for four days before deciding not to continue, but now I'm being charged for a whole year. Customer service hasn't been helpful and keeps insisting on charging me. Really disappointed with this whole situation.
Annual subscription, missing content
I was so disappointed with my experience with this subscription service. I signed up for a whole year, only to find out that a lot of the stuff I wanted to see was gone. I contacted customer service to try to fix things, but they wouldn't give me my money back. It was really upsetting to feel like they tricked me and didn't treat me fairly. I liked the service itself, but the company's lack of honesty and responsibility left a bad feeling. It's too bad that they care more about making money than making customers happy.

I love this workout app! It's so handy, user-friendly, and offers a wide range of workouts. But, I do have a couple of ideas to take it up a notch. First off, it would be a... Read onBy: Kade Schuster
