    Designer watch purchase

    What a disaster this online purchase turned out to be! I ordered a fancy watch and was shocked when it came in a beaten up box that wasn't even the right one for the model I picked. I started doubting if the watch was even real, so I decided to send it back. But then, to my surprise, Selfridges said the watch was damaged while it was with me. That's a lie and it's really getting on my nerves. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this place online, and I, myself, won't be returning. This whole thing was a scam, a rip-off, and just plain disgusting. I even tried reaching out to Customer Services for help, but got no reply. This customer service is awful and the whole experience was a letdown.

    Online purchase, Return Department issue

    Hey there, everyone! Let me fill you in on what went down when I tried to shop at this fancy retail store. Save yourself the hassle and don't bother buying online - it's a total scam! Selfridges used to be fantastic, but now it's turned into a total mess. I placed two orders and had to deal with the folks in the Return Department, who straight up fibbed about the condition of the stuff I sent back. They said I wore something and that another item was damaged - total nonsense! Those items were in perfect condition, just like when I got them. They made up those lies just to avoid giving me a refund. I've never been so disgusted by a shopping experience before. Their service is awful - they make you jump through hoops and explain yourself over and over to try and wear you down. It's clear that Selfridges has a policy to trick customers when it comes to returns, all to save a few bucks and rip off innocent shoppers like me. I'm never, EVER shopping here again, and you can bet I'll be deleting my account as soon as I can.

    Foundation purchase

    It was 10pm and I was pretty let down by the way the staff was treating me. I tried making eye contact and starting a conversation, but they were just not interested and basically ignored me until I had to straight up ask for help. It made me feel like they didn't really care about me as a customer, and it really ruined what was supposed to be a nice shopping trip.

    Christmas gift card issue

    My experience with Selfridges has been a complete nightmare. Our company got gift cards for our staff as Christmas presents, but one of them turned out to be no good. I have gone to the store multiple times with the receipt, called and sent emails many times, but the Selfridges staff hasn't been very helpful at all. It's been more than a month since this problem started, and it still hasn't been fixed. It's really disappointing to see Selfridges act this way - they're supposed to be pros, but they don't seem to care at all. If this is how they treat customers, I'd rather go somewhere else. I'd rather spend £200 at Primark than deal with Selfridges.

    Recent shoe purchase

    I bought some shoes at that store not too long ago and I gotta say, the service at the shoe gallery was top-notch. The sales person, I think her name was Damiola, was super helpful and didn't rush me at all while I tried on a bunch of different pairs. She gave me some great advice and made sure I left with the perfect pair. I really appreciate her help and I'll definitely be going back to that store next time I need to do some shopping.

    I bought a piece of clothing from this store not too long ago, and let me tell you, the whole experience was a real bummer. The ordering process was a bit of a mess, with all kinds of issues popping up on their website. When I reached out to customer service for help, they were not friendly or helpful at all. And the price I paid for the item was a lot higher than I was expecting, especially given the not-so-great quality. Plus, it took forever for the item to actually get to me - way longer than they said it would. All in all, I wouldn't recommend giving this store another shot.

    I've been a loyal customer at this store for so many years, always spending my hard-earned cash on their stuff. Just the other day, I picked up a big order, but then life threw a curveball and I needed to return it. Turns out, I missed the deadline for returns by just a few days because they changed it to only 14 days now. I've always stuck to the old 30-day policy, so this really blindsided me. I tried reaching out to customer service for help, but they didn't seem to get where I was coming from at all. This whole situation has been a real punch in the gut, both emotionally and financially.     Eh, so I bought this super nice leather handbag from Selfridges & Co, and let me tell ya, it was not a great experience, eh. When I got the bag, there were big stains on both the outside and inside. The folks at Selfridges admitted there was a problem, but instead of owning up to it, they tried to put the blame on me. I gotta say, that lack of responsibility was not cool, and definitely not very professional, eh.

    I just treated myself to a nice pair of shoes that were super expensive, but they started falling apart after only a few times wearing them. The store and the brand were no help at all, they just blamed it on regular use. Luckily, Timpson's came to the rescue and fixed the problem for me!

    Mother's Day flowers from Selfridges

    So, here's the thing - for Mother's Day, my kids got me this fancy floral arrangement from Selfridges. But the thing is, it didn't come with any care instructions, flower food, or even a card with a sweet message from my little ones. I tried my best to keep those flowers looking fresh, changing the water every day and all, but after just 6 days, they were already wilting. When I got in touch with Selfridges about it, they just told me to talk to the supplier, who basically brushed it off saying it's normal for flowers to start wilting after a week. But let me tell you, compared to flowers from the supermarket or other delivery services, the ones from Selfridges just didn't measure up in terms of how long they lasted and their overall quality.

    Makeup beauty items

    My experience with Selfridges was absolutely awful! I ordered some makeup beauty items and immediately regretted it. I tried to cancel my order, but it was already too late. I accepted the package from the courier, thinking I could return it right away for a refund - but oh boy, was I wrong. Even though I hadn't even opened the box, Selfridges refused to accept the return because of their ridiculous beauty items policy. They said once the package was opened, there was no turning back - even though the box was sealed and untouched! To make matters worse, when I finally opened the box to check my expensive items, I found that one of the makeup products was damaged. You'd think that's a good reason for a refund, right? Nope. Selfridges refused again, claiming I had opened the packaging and couldn't return the damaged item. Dealing with them felt like talking to robots without any common sense or understanding. Their Customer Service Team was useless, showing no concern for my disappointment or the damaged items. It was a constant back and forth with no solution in sight - they basically said tough luck, tough cookie! This experience was frustrating, and I won't be shopping at Selfridges again.

    I had a terrible time dealing with Selfridges & Co. I wanted to send back a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes I bought online, which cost a lot of money. But returning them was a total nightmare. Even though I did everything they said for the return, Selfridges somehow lost my package. I called and emailed so many times, but all I got were useless promises and no solution. I had to open a Paypal dispute in the end just to try to get my money back. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I won't be buying from Selfridges & Co. again, that's for sure.

    I recently ordered a gift from Selfridges with next day delivery, but it's been 1.5 weeks and the gift still hasn't arrived because they can't find the address. They keep saying they'll try again tomorrow, but after multiple attempts, I had to cancel the order because my friend doesn't live in outer Mongolia. The customer service was terrible, no one seemed interested in helping. After three frustrating calls, I realized that dealing with Selfridges ends up costing you money, time, and unnecessary stress. It seems like the recent takeover has affected the quality of service, and it looks like Selfridges' future is uncertain.

    My time at Selfridges was amazing. It was my first time there and I was really blown away by how beautiful the store was and the incredible service from the staff. I especially enjoyed chatting with Jonathan at the Jusbox perfume stand. He knew so much about the products and didn't pressure me into buying anything. It was nice to have a real conversation with someone who truly cared about what they were selling. I definitely want to go back to Selfridges again someday after this great experience.
