Macy's - Reviews and experiences

I had a terrible time trying to return something to this store. I shipped back a $470 item months ago with their label. I checked online and saw that they got it, but I never got my money back. I reached out to customer service for help. Last month, one person told me my refund was coming. But when I called today, a different person said they never got the item. I tried chatting with someone, but the chat got disconnected. Dealing with their customer service was super frustrating because they seemed clueless and kept giving me different answers. It looks like they can't keep track of returns or give refunds properly. Overall, their customer service is a total disaster, and I've lost trust in their ability to fix problems.

So, I went to this store and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. The employees there really need to work on their customer service skills. One of them was pretty rude to me just because I didn't speak the same language. And if you happen to order something online, they don't seem to care much if it gets lost in the mail. Not cool, right? Oh, and don't even get me started on their return policy, it's pretty terrible. Nordstrom, on the other hand, is way better and more upscale.

The thing got sent from a different province and they didn't have my full address, so the delivery guy had a hard time finding me. I called customer service twice and they were no help at all. When I asked to talk to a manager, they actually hung up on me. I was so fed up that I just told the delivery guy to send it back. I'm definitely not ordering from that store online again.

To top it off, they forgot to include my full address on the package, only my P.O. Box and missing my street address. This mistake made the shipping company not want to deliver the package, which led to a frustrating back-and-forth between Macy's customer service and the shipping company. I talked to three different customer service reps, but none of them could fix the address issue properly. Also, the language barrier made it hard to communicate, making things even more frustrating. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was put on hold forever and then suddenly disconnected. In the end, I had to tell the shipping company to send the package back, leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth about my Macy's online shopping experience.
