it turned out okay in the end, but getting there was a real hassle. I placed an order for two rugs around Aug 20 and right away the site felt clunky — took forever to find the right sizes and I kept doubting if my cart even saved. First impression was frustration, honestly. A couple days later the price dropped by almost $100 per rug and, to make matters worse, my confirmation said free shipping yet a $60 vendor surcharge appeared on the charge. I mean, that caught me off guard. The receipt even had a store return barcode but customer service first told me I couldn’t return in person and would have to ship at my expense — felt like being passed around. Delivery got pushed back too, from within a week to a later date. After an hour and 23 minutes on the line with offshore support I asked specifically for a U.S. rep; she sorted it out in about five minutes — refunded the surcharge and arranged an in-store return option. So yeah, not perfect, annoying at times, but once I got the right person it was fixed. I’ll think twice about ordering online again though.
