Jewelry purchase
I bought this really nice piece of jewelry from a store the other day and it was delivered by a well-known courier. But when I got the package, it was all messed up - like someone had opened it and taped it back together in a rush. And to make things worse, the jewelry inside was gone. When I told the store what had happened, they didn't want to give me a refund or a new piece. It was super disappointing.
Dishes arrived broken
I just got dishes as a gift from an online order, but the package arrived in bad shape. The box holding the dishes was falling apart, and some dishes were broken. I'm disappointed in how they were packed. Even though customer service offered to send a replacement set, I doubt it will be packed any better. It's annoying to have to send back the damaged set due to poor packaging.
My recent purchase at the department store
My shopping trip at the department store wasn't great. They didn't have much to choose from and the customer service was bad. The staff didn't seem interested and weren't helpful when I asked about some stuff. Also, the prices were too high compared to other stores nearby. I wasn't happy with my visit and won't be going back.
3 shirts
I ordered 3 shirts from the website, and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare. I placed my order, but didn't get any email confirmation. I called Customer Service, which was located outside of Canada, and they said their computers were getting updated. They did confirm that my order went through and gave me a confirmation number. They said I'd get an email receipt in 24 hours, but after 2 days, still nothing. So, I contacted Customer Service again, only to find out my order was canceled for no reason. I had to reorder the same shirts, but once again, no email confirmation. It's really disappointing and frustrating to deal with such incompetence from a company. This kind of service is just not acceptable, and it's no surprise they might go out of business.
Fragrance purchase with missed gift set
My recent purchase at Macy's was really disappointing, eh? I ordered a fragrance online and it was supposed to come with a Loreal sample gift set, but when my order arrived, there was no sign of the gift set. And to make matters worse, the fragrance bottle was all damaged, probably from rough handling during shipping. I tried to get help from customer service, but the person I talked to had trouble speaking English, making it hard to sort things out. Even though I showed them proof of the offer on my receipt, the language barrier made it tough to communicate and ended up being a real headache.
Fragrance shopping experience
Lately, I've been noticing that the customer service at Macy's has been going downhill. But when I went to the green acres mall, my whole outlook changed. The ladies in the fragrances department, Alisha and Patty, were so nice and helpful. They gave me great gift suggestions and made my shopping trip fun. It was nice to get such personal attention and good advice. I just wanted to give a big thank you to Alisha and Patty for going the extra mile!
Large purchase cancellation
I tried to buy something online recently, but my order got canceled because there was some issue with verifying my info. I did everything they asked to confirm my details, even called customer service for help. But I kept getting passed on to different departments without getting any help. I got so frustrated and decided to just go to the actual store instead. It was a huge waste of time and I was so disappointed with how everything went down at that store. I definitely won't be shopping there again, that's for sure.
Men's clothing purchase
The store had a good bunch of men's clothes, some of them were pretty nice. But I thought the prices were a bit high. All in all, it's a solid spot to check out different things.

Bought an item online using a third-party payment platform
I bought something online and used a payment site. I then took it back to the store, but they and the payment platform didn't update my return properly. So now I'm stuck dealing with both of them trying to get my money back. Their customer service hasn't been much help, just following a script. I'd suggest steering clear of these companies if you don't want to deal with this headache of paying for stuff you've returned.

Sorry, just gotta say - I did some online shopping and boy was it a disaster. The website was all over the place, impossible to find what I wanted, and the checkout process was a complete mess. Plus, the prices were shady and I ended up shelling out more cash than I planned. And on top of all that, my order arrived late and I had to bug customer service to get any info. Total headache. Definitely won't be hitting up that online store again.
Nike shoes purchase
The ad at Macy's said there was a 30% off deal and free shipping on Nike shoes. But when I went to buy them, the discount didn't show up at the checkout. I called customer service and they fixed the price, but I still had to pay for shipping. The rep told me to try again later. When I went back to buy them, the deal was gone. This kind of fake advertising is not cool and really let me down.
Handicapped son clothing assistance
Today, I had a great experience meeting an amazing worker at Macy's who really went out of their way to help me find clothes for my son who has a disability. Latoya in the men's clothing section at the DC store was so friendly and gave me so much valuable help. I've been let down by Macy's for years because they never have the right sizes, especially for my son's pajamas. But, Latoya took the time to find the right sizes and even checked other Macy's stores that might have what we needed. Her hard work and eagerness to help really made a big difference in my shopping trip. I haven't had this kind of help at Macy's in a long time, so it was a nice surprise. I was hesitant to go today because of past experiences, but I'm so glad I did because Latoya's amazing customer service has made me believe in Macy's again. Maybe things are changing for the better at Macy's after all.
Luggage
I bought this luggage from Macy's and the first time I used it, it broke and got all messed up! I tried to get a refund, but they said no because I was only 5 days late! The company claims it's not their fault it got messed up, but it definitely is! So disappointing!
Return Process Issue
I had a terrible time trying to return something to this store. I shipped back a $470 item months ago with their label. I checked online and saw that they got it, but I never got my money back. I reached out to customer service for help. Last month, one person told me my refund was coming. But when I called today, a different person said they never got the item. I tried chatting with someone, but the chat got disconnected. Dealing with their customer service was super frustrating because they seemed clueless and kept giving me different answers. It looks like they can't keep track of returns or give refunds properly. Overall, their customer service is a total disaster, and I've lost trust in their ability to fix problems.
Bad experience review
So, I went to this store and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. The employees there really need to work on their customer service skills. One of them was pretty rude to me just because I didn't speak the same language. And if you happen to order something online, they don't seem to care much if it gets lost in the mail. Not cool, right? Oh, and don't even get me started on their return policy, it's pretty terrible. Nordstrom, on the other hand, is way better and more upscale.

In the end, I had to tell the shipping company to send the package back, leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth about my Macy's online shopping experience.
