Macy's - Reviews and experiences

I thought ordering from them for the first time would be a quick win — click, pay via PayPal, done. Payment hit immediately, confirmation arrived, and then... silence. No shipping note for days. After 10 days I tried to follow up and that's where the fun (not) began. There’s no email support, just a chat thing that didn’t know my order number and shuffled me off to a phone line. The phone maze wanted me to call a different international number, not toll-free, and only during odd hours — so I basically had to live by Eastern Time for a day to reach anyone. Calls bounced me around, no one could tell me where the item was, which is funny because I kept picturing the fabric, the weight, the pockets — I never even got to try it on. Eventually PayPal refunded me, thank goodness, but I feel like I missed out on the whole "product feel" part. Won't risk it again.

I ordered 3 shirts from the website, and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare. I placed my order, but didn't get any email confirmation. I called Customer Service, which was located outside of Canada, and they said their computers were getting updated. They did confirm that my order went through and gave me a confirmation number. They said I'd get an email receipt in 24 hours, but after 2 days, still nothing. So, I contacted Customer Service again, only to find out my order was canceled for no reason. I had to reorder the same shirts, but once again, no email confirmation. It's really disappointing and frustrating to deal with such incompetence from a company. This kind of service is just not acceptable, and it's no surprise they might go out of business.
