My new coat
I just got this wicked cool coat, you know, and I'm totally obsessed with it! It's so warm and comfy, and it's got this really stylish vibe. I wear it non-stop and all my buddies are totally jealous of how awesome it looks on me. I don't even care where it's from, I just can't get enough of it!
Black Friday jacket purchase with defect
My experience with this brand was just awful. I bought a jacket during the Black Friday sale, only to find it had a defect when I received it. I contacted customer service to explain the issue, mentioning that I used discounts from Amex and other third-party providers to purchase it. They initially agreed to match those discounts and asked me to return the jacket, which I did. But when I followed up after the return, they changed their minds and wouldn't honor the discounts. It seems like they pretend to help you at first, only to disappoint you later. I shop at luxury brands like Chanel, Hermes, and Moncler often, and I've never been treated so poorly and inconsistently. Needless to say, Mackage's customer service is definitely not top-notch.
Raincoat purchase with faulty zipper
I recently bought a raincoat from Mackage and at first, I really liked how it fit and looked. It was sleek and had lots of useful pockets. But then things went downhill when I started having problems with the zipper. Right from the start, it was finicky and needed a lot of delicate handling to get it to close properly. I thought it was just a small hiccup that I could get used to, but after just three weeks, the zipper completely stopped working. It's stuck now and I can't even wear the coat. Pretty bummed out about the lack of quality in something that cost so much.
Edward Fur Parka
The Edward Fur Parka from this brand is seriously the best winter coat I've ever had, hands down. It doesn't just look amazing, it keeps me so warm and cozy. This parka is totally ready for winter, keeping me protected from all the harsh weather like a pro. I tried another Canadian brand before, but it couldn't even come close to the quality and style of my Mackage parka. Plus, the customer service I got was top-notch. So yeah, I'm a customer for life now, no doubt about it.
Overpriced, poor quality
The quality of this product is just so disappointing, I can't even begin to explain. I thought I was making a smart choice by splurging on it, but it started falling apart almost right away. I've been trying to reach out to customer service for help, but it feels like they're purposefully dodging me. Honestly, don't waste your money on this - look for something better elsewhere!
Repair jacket
So I had to send my jacket in to get fixed and let me tell you, the person helping me, Brittany, was like a fairy godmother. She kept me in the loop the whole time and made sure everything went smoothly. She was so sweet and helpful, I felt like we were besties by the end of it. Seriously, if she wasn't already married, I would totally suggest her to be my future wife. Overall, the whole experience was amazing, thank you Brittany and the company!
Recent gift purchase
I recently bought a gift from the store and found out later that it was the wrong size. I wanted to exchange it for a bigger size, but the store's return policy only allows exchanges within 14 days. I tried to explain the situation and even offered to show them my receipt, but they still refused to let me exchange the item. This kind of customer service is really disappointing, especially for a luxury brand. The whole buying experience was ruined by the store's lack of flexibility and understanding. I definitely won't be shopping there again.
Coat with faulty zipper
I recently bought a coat from the store in Sloane Square and the lower zipper quickly came off. Despite the salesperson promising quality and lifetime service, I was really disappointed by the lack of help from the Customer Service department. When I contacted them about the issue, they asked for lots of photos of the zipper and coat, only to send me the wrong size zipper after waiting a long time. Not only that, when I pointed out that the code on the attachment didn't match, they gave excuses instead of fixing the problem. And to make matters worse, they only offered me a measly 10% discount for a future purchase that I'm not planning on making. Needless to say, I won't be shopping here again.
Online purchase of 2 items
The customer service at this store is just awful. I bought 2 things online and they came to me with DHL. When I needed to send one back, they said to use FEDEX instead, even though it wasn't what I wanted. They said I wouldn't have to pay duty fees, but then DHL sent me a bill for duty on both things. I've been trying to fix this with DHL and the store, but all I get are empty promises from someone named Rania El Hadraoui. That's no way to treat your customers.

So, I got this coat, eh? It was super cute and all, but then I had to return it 'cause it didn't fit right, you know? But when I tried, they were like, "No way, Jose!" They changed their return policy to only two weeks, which is so short, eh! And they wouldn't even make an exception for me, even though it was just a few days past that! So unfair, right? And when I tried to talk to a manager, they were never around, always on a break or something. They promised to get back to me, but they never did, eh. Now I'm stuck with this coat that doesn't even fit! Ugh, I'm never buying from them again, that's for sure.
Coat purchase
I bought a coat from this company recently and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with it. The quality isn't great and the customer service didn't help much either. The price I paid for the coat definitely didn't match up with the quality I got. The zipper got stuck after only a little bit of use, so now I can't really use the coat at all. When I reached out to customer service, they told me I had to send the coat in for repairs, which would take 4-8 weeks. It was super frustrating, especially since the weather was starting to warm up. To make matters worse, I also had to pay for shipping to send the faulty coat back to them for repairs. It was just adding insult to injury. This whole situation has been really disappointing and now I'm not so sure about their products or their service.
Down coat with fur-lined hood repair
So, I sent my cozy down coat with the fur-lined hood in for some fixing, but I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about how it turned out. The repair was supposed to just fix the torn fur, but what I got back was a mess - different fur colours and lengths all sewn together in a sloppy way. Now my coat looks all weird and mismatched. On top of that, I had to pay for shipping to another continent for this botched repair job. It's really disappointing to see a brand I trust let me down like this.
Kent Z coat in Garnet
Just purchased from this brand for the second time, bought online and got the coat within a few days. The quality and packaging were fantastic, much better than those other overrated brands.
Expensive coat purchase
So I bought this pricey coat not too long ago, and let me tell you, dealing with their customer service team wasn't too great. I needed a replacement belt since mine went missing, but the whole process was a headache and the service wasn't very helpful at all. I tried to sort things out, but I never did get that replacement belt. It's safe to say that this whole experience has made me think twice about buying from them again, and I wouldn't suggest their services to anyone.
Trish-x coat purchase
My recent purchase of the Trish-x coat in December 2023 was really disappointing. I paid $1,590 for this coat and was so bummed to see that the silver fox fur lining was already shedding after just one wear. I was not happy with the quality of the coat at all. When I got in touch with customer service in January 2024 to try and exchange it, they said I couldn't get a refund or exchange it because I had already taken off the tags. They told me to fill out a "repair form" online instead. It was even more frustrating when Mackage tried to blame me for the shedding, saying I didn't take care of the coat properly, even though I had only worn it once. All in all, dealing with this company has left me feeling ripped off and let down.
Real fur purchases
I was really upset when I found out that this company is using real fur from animals that are kept in terrible conditions. It's just not right to support a brand that's involved in such cruelty. Animals shouldn't have to go through that for the sake of fashion. It's just awful that this company is making money off of the animals' suffering. I think everyone should consider shopping at more ethical brands that don't support the torture of innocent animals.
expensive jacket
I just bought this pricey jacket from the store and now I'm kind of regretting it. I didn't realize there was only a 14-day return window and now I'm stuck with a $1200 jacket that I don't even like. It's a real bummer that such a nice jacket is tainted by a lousy return policy and lackluster customer service. From now on, I'll definitely be more careful about where I shop and will probably check out some other stores with better return options.
$1300 Men's Down coat
The Men's Down coat that cost $1300 was really warm, but the outer shell material was surprisingly thin. After just using it occasionally for less than a year, the arm of the coat ripped open. To make things worse, the company didn't stick to their promise of a lifetime guarantee. And even if they did, it wasn't very helpful since the consumer had to pay for shipping and wait for 6 weeks during winter. On the other hand, a $129 Lands End parka held up well in tough conditions and stayed in great shape after 5 years. Looking back, buying 10 Lands End parkas would have been a smarter choice.
Coat purchase
I just bought a coat from this company, and I gotta say, it was a letdown overall. Ordering it was fine, nothing special about the service really stood out. But when I tried to return the coat, that's when things went downhill. I’d only had it for a week and found out they wouldn’t process my return, even though their policy said they should. Every time I asked about it, they were just plain rude, which made me even more frustrated. As a customer, I expect better treatment and service from a company I’ve spent my hard-earned money on. I definitely won’t be buying directly from them again, and I’ll be warning others too.
