Australian brand clothing
My recent purchase from this brand was so disappointing, eh. I mean, even though they are an Aussie brand, it took over a month for my order to show up, and I had to bug them lots to get it sorted out. The customer service was just the worst, hardly any follow-up and they didn't seem to care about fixing things for customers. I'd tell ya, don't bother ordering from their site because their customer service is just terrible, probably one of the worst I've ever dealt with in Australia, eh. Even the local store in town treats ya better than this big company. Such a shame, really.
Returns processing and return fees
I had a really frustrating experience with returning an item at the store recently. They said it would take 7-10 days to process the return, but it actually took over a month. I reached out to customer service after they got the package back in less than 2 weeks, but it still took them another 10 full business days to process the return. The money wasn't refunded until 2 days later. They even told me to check back by a certain date, but I still had to wait longer than I expected to get my money back. And to top it off, I found out they charged a return fee in addition to the cost of sending the package back. This meant I got a lot less money back than I was hoping for, which was really disappointing. Overall, this whole mess has left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure I want to shop there again.
My Weird Online Purchase
So, I ordered something online from this place, and it turned out to be a COMPLETE disaster. Their number didn't even work, and they're basically running things out of a cardboard box in California. Plus, there's no way to track my stuff or get my money back. Definitely not dealing with them again!
Product return due to inaccurately sized garment
I had to return a piece of clothing because it was the wrong size. I was annoyed at first because I had to pay for the return shipping. But when I contacted customer service, they gave me a full refund for the item and even the shipping costs. I was surprised by how they handled it and now I'm happy with how it all turned out. I'm glad they owned up to the mistake and made sure I wasn't out any money in the end.
Error with promo code
I just bought something and had a problem with the promo code. I was supposed to get a free duffel bag with my order, but because the code was entered wrong, it didn't come in the package. When I contacted customer service, they said I didn't choose the free gift option, so they couldn't add it now. They told me to return my order and make a new one to get the free duffel bag. I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of flexibility and the trouble this has caused.
Online order never received
I recently bought something online from this company, but I never got my order. I've contacted customer service a bunch of times now, but haven't gotten any help or my money back for the stuff that never showed up. It's been two months since I placed the order, and I'm really let down by how they're not keeping in touch or fixing the problem.
4/3mm wetsuit, poor quality
I bought this supposedly top-of-the-line wetsuit and it ripped after only 4 uses. Billabong wouldn't do anything to help me out, so now I'm stuck with a useless product. Pretty disappointing experience all around, eh?
Hotel room booking with breakfast
I recently booked a hotel room at Novotel through Billabong. I made sure to choose a room that included breakfast because that's what the room description on their website said. I got a confirmation email that clearly mentioned the room type and meal plan, with "SA" next to it. I wasn't sure what "SA" meant but I thought it meant a meal plan was included. When I got to the hotel, I was told that I actually booked a room-only reservation, as it said in their booking confirmation. When I asked Billabong about this, they told me that "SA" stood for room-only. I was confused as to why they didn't make that clear to me like they did to the hotel. They didn't give me a good explanation and wouldn't give me the breakfast I thought I booked. It seemed like they weren't clear in their booking process and confirmations.<br>After talking more, they offered me a measly $20 refund, which wasn't enough to cover the inconvenience and extra charges I had to deal with because of currency exchange rates. Even though I kept trying, they eventually refused to talk to me anymore. My experience booking with Billabong was disappointing and I would suggest others to look for different options for hotel reservations. I've started taking actions with my credit card company because I'm not happy with this situation and want to find a solution.
Perfect gift for boyfriend
Found the perfect gift for my boyfriend at the store! They had such a good variety of men's clothing and accessories that totally match his chill style. The staff there was so helpful and gave me some awesome ideas to help me pick out the perfect gift. The quality of the stuff was top-notch, and I just knew he'd really appreciate it.
Late holiday return
I bought a gift from this place and tried to return it in January after Christmas. They wouldn't accept the return, which is crazy. I'm never shopping here again. Next time I'll go with Macy's or another store for this brand. Their return policy is much better during the holiday season. Billabong is terrible and I would totally give them zero stars if I could.
Men's board shorts purchase
I just bought a pair of men's board shorts from this store and I gotta say, the customer service was a huge letdown! I found an awesome deal on their website, but couldn't figure out where to put in the promo code for a discount during checkout. I sent a few emails trying to fix the issue, but didn't hear back at all. So I decided to have a chat with their customer service team on the website, and they told me they couldn't give me the discount because of some lame "system" issue. Seriously? So yeah, you won't see me shopping there again.
Tried to return an item
Hey there, as someone who has been a customer for a while, I gotta say the return process was a total nightmare. Wetsuit Fall Apart
Eh, so after only a season and a half, my 5/4 mm wetsuit totally fell apart, eh? The zipper busted after just a few months, and all the taped seams started coming off after the first season, eh. When I got in touch with customer service, they got back to me pretty quick, but they tried to blame the problems on how I was using it, instead of admitting to any issues with the materials, eh. Spending big bucks on what was supposed to be a top-notch product, only to run into this kind of trouble, is just not cool, eh.
Black mens tee's
I picked up some really awesome black men's T-shirts recently and they fit me perfectly! I got a regular one and a muscle one, and they both look great on me. The fit is just perfect, not too tight or too loose. I felt really confident wearing them, plus they're super comfortable. The designs are really cool and stylish too. I would definitely recommend these T-shirts!
Splurged on a fancy jacket
So I bought this super cool jacket and after wearing it for only 2 weeks, it suddenly ripped! I was pretty upset about it, but I thought, no big deal, I'll just ask for a refund or a coupon. But then this lady named Domitilde was super rude to me and said no! I was like, seriously?! We've spent a lot of money at this store and this is how they treat us? Not cool, man. And they don't even allow negative reviews on their site! Seems shady to me.
Recent online purchase
The whole process of ordering from this company was seriously frustrating and took up so much of my time. I had to try multiple times just to get my order through because their website kept messing up. And then, when the order was finally in, the shipping took forever. I get that things like the shipping carriers can cause delays, but it was kinda upsetting to see the company not taking responsibility for their own shipping issues. Plus, their customer service was super slow to respond. I had to wait weeks just to get a response to my email, which is just not okay when we're all used to getting things quickly online. All in all, my experience with this company was a letdown and I don't think I'd be rushing to buy from them again.
Swim trunks
I bought some swim trunks from this place not too long ago and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. The tracking number they gave me was all wrong, so I had no idea where my order was. I tried reaching out for assistance but no one even bothered to get back to me. Finally, after 17 long days, I received an email saying I would get a refund, but they were only refunding the cost of the items, not the shipping. And the kicker is, I wasn't even sure if my order had been shipped out yet! What a joke. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
Bikini bottoms
I recently bought a pair of bikini bottoms from this clothing company and boy, was I let down by the quality! I wore them to the beach for the first time and already noticed rips at the seams with the elastic sticking out. It was clear the product was cheaply made and not worth the price I paid. On top of that, their customer service was a headache. Trying to communicate with the reps was a struggle and it took multiple attempts to sort out a previous return problem. Based on my experience, I wouldn't suggest buying from this company.
Dresses
I recently bought two dresses from an online store. I liked the quality of the dresses, but I was disappointed because they promised a Free Picnic Blanket for orders over $150.00, but I didn't receive it. Even though my order was over $150.00, they didn't explain how to get the gift. I emailed them after my purchase, but they said the promotion was only for full-price items and needed to be claimed before buying. This lack of transparency and misleading advertising made me unhappy with my shopping experience. Now I'm thinking twice about buying from this store again, since I could have easily found similar dresses for less money on other websites.
Bought online item
I ordered this really cute shirt online but it ended up being too small when I got it. So I had to send it back and they ended up taking out almost the same amount as the shipping from my refund. Like, that's totally not cool at all.
