Jacket purchase
The customer service at this store is just terrible. I ordered a jacket and got a confirmation email, but then nothing. I had to keep bugging them and even threatened to escalate things before they finally just cancelled my order without even saying why. Blaming their own stores for not sending it out is just shifting the blame. Now I'm left with no jacket, no real solution, and definitely no interest in shopping there again.
Recent clothing purchase
In my last order, I noticed that the sizes were all over the place. One of the tops fit like a glove, but the other one was way too big. Dealing with returns all the way to Latvia from Canada was a pain and cost me a lot of time and money. On top of that, it looks like my return might have gotten lost during shipping, making me even more frustrated. Because of all these problems, I'm not sure if I want to buy anything from this store again.
Winter jacket with broken zipper
Yeah, so, I went to buy a new winter jacket, ya know? And the salesperson was rude, talking down to me. She told me my jacket was old, a year old, with a broken zipper. Then the manager said I had to wait 3 months for it to get fixed by the tailor. Like, seriously? I need my jacket now, not in 3 months. Their attitude and lack of care really surprised me.
Stylish pants with sizing issues
I bought these pants 'cause they looked pretty cool and the fabric seemed alright. But man, was I bummed out about the sizing! Like, the sizes were all over the place - one size fit nice in one spot but not so great in another. And the measurements they said for each size didn't line up with how they actually fit. It made it such a pain trying to figure out the right size!

So, I bought something from this store and it was super easy. The people working there knew their stuff and were really helpful. But when I tried to return some stuff, it was a bit of a hassle because I don't live close to one of their stores. The return process could have been smoother.
Overpriced Chinese-made products
I was really disappointed with the products I received - they felt cheap and thin, definitely not gonna keep me warm in this cold weather. I'm also concerned about the lack of animal cruelty standards during manufacturing. Shipping took way longer than they said it would, took a whole week for me to get my mittens, long undies, socks, and neck gaiter.

I've been a loyal customer of this brand for a while now and I've always been impressed with how good their products are. The winter running and hiking gear, and the heavy winter jackets, always keep me warm and dry when I'm out in the great outdoors. The attention to detail and the top quality materials they use really make their products stand out.
I recently had to deal with their customer service and I gotta say, it was amazing. I accidentally ordered the wrong size shell jacket for my brother as a present, and when it showed up, I knew it wouldn't fit him. I got in touch with customer service, and Anika totally went above and beyond to help me out with the return and exchange. She was quick to respond, super efficient, and really showed she cared and understood. I felt like a valued customer, and this whole experience has just made me even more loyal to the brand.

I recently bought a shirt and pants set from your store, hoping to get both items in my package. But, turns out only the pants showed up and I found out 3 days later that the shirt was out of stock. They did refund my money, but the whole situation was kinda frustrating, especially 'cause your stuff ain't cheap.
Expensive clothing
I went into the store all pumped to buy some fancy clothes, but man, it all went downhill from there real fast. The employees made it super tough to get a refund, then to top it off, they sent the money to the wrong account, not mine! And to make matters worse, they're saying there's nothing they can do about it and won't even give me a gift card to make up for it. This is straight-up robbery and deceit, taking advantage of customers and messing with thousands of dollars.
Online order, disappointing experience, returns process
I recently bought a few things online from this store and I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the whole experience. I've been to their actual stores in different places before and it was all good, but the whole process after ordering online was a mess. The sizing on one of the items I got wasn't right, so I wanted to return it. But guess what? No returns label in the package. So, I went on their website and emailed them for help, but it's been almost two weeks and still no reply. Thankfully, one of the items I ordered did come with a returns label, so I used that to send back the original item to the store in London. But they didn't even let me know they got the return or were doing anything about it. I had to call them to check. The staff in the store were cool, but their online customer service seriously needs work.
And get this, no updates on my order status after I bought it. Some stuff came quickly, but some things were missing even after almost two weeks. The lack of communication after that first confirmation email was so annoying and unprofessional. It's disappointing that their online ordering and returns system is so flawed, especially when their actual stores are awesome. If you're lucky enough to have a store nearby, definitely go in person instead of ordering online from this brand.Jacket made in China
So I bought this jacket from that company, but I was kind of bummed to find out it was made in China this time, whereas my other jackets from them were made in Portugal. It's a bit sketchy that they don't make it clear where their products come from on their website, because it definitely impacts the quality and worth of the stuff.
New Tindur jacket purchase
I got my teenager a new Tindur jacket from this store recently, and let me tell you, the staff there was super helpful. They had all the sizes I needed for my son to try on. The quality of the jacket is top-notch - it's got gortex for water resistance and 800-fill down for warmth, beating out Canada Goose and The North Face. Some folks might bring up where it's made, but honestly, I don't really care as long as it's good quality, stylish, and cozy. I'm pretty sure it's made ethically because, well, Icelanders have that reputation. Big shoutout to the folks behind this jacket - great job!

Eh, this jacket I picked up here is just not worth the money, buddy. It's supposed to be all high-end and fancy like, but honestly, it's like shelling out a fortune for a paper bag with arm holes, ya know? Cave XL tent
I went all out and got the Cave XL tent, which was a big purchase from a well-known outdoor gear company. Let me tell you, setting up this tent was not as easy as their tutorials make it seem. It was like trying to untangle a bunch of tangled shoelaces, I almost felt like giving up. We tried different pumps, spent extra money, only to realize we needed to buy the official one from the brand, which cost a lot. And why didn't they include a pump to begin with, especially considering how expensive the tent is? It's not right. Once we finally got it set up, I have to admit the tent does look good. But putting it away in the rain, trying to stuff it back into a small bag, that's a whole other story. It definitely requires more than one person and a lot of strength to squeeze it back into the bag. Overall, the tent is great quality, but be ready for some frustration.

I bought something from this company on January 8, 2024, and they took the money from my account on January 10. But guess what? I still haven't got my parcel. They sent me an email saying it's delayed and should show up in 2-4 days, but it's been longer and still no sign of it. I've emailed their customer service a bunch of times, but no response. I asked for my money back and to cancel my order, but they're acting like they don't see my messages. This whole thing is so frustrating and disappointing, honestly.
Online order
I had a really bad experience with my online order. I placed an order and never got it. When I tried to contact customer service, I never heard back. In the end, I had to go through Paypal to get my money back. It was such a hassle and waste of time. After that, I would recommend others to steer clear of this company.
Parka purchase
I just bought a parka from this store and man, the quality is amazing! It's super warm and going to be perfect for the Canadian winter. But you know what? The customer service was kind of a letdown. This one staff member, Svandis, was not helpful at all – such a downer. Especially since I shelled out a lot for this parka. And to add to that, turns out returning stuff to Iceland is going to be a pain and expensive.
EU-made Vatnajökull shell jacket
Ignore what you heard, my Vatnajökull jacket showed up super fast in just TWO days, even with the lockdown happening. It fits perfectly, the zippers and materials are top-notch, and the stitching is strong - they really did a great job. Ordering online was a breeze. I found out about them from an Icelandic drone operator who was wearing their cap in an interview.
