Clothing purchase, arrived in 7 days
After reading some not-so-great reviews, I was a bit nervous about my order. But even with all the Royal Mail drama, the dress showed up at my door in just 7 days. The color and quality were exactly as advertised on the website, and the size (M&S size 12) fit perfectly. I'm really happy with my purchase.
Christmas gift of chocolates
This shopping experience was beyond stressful. My daughter wanted to surprise me with a Christmas gift of chocolates, but it turned into a complete nightmare. To make things worse, we ended up with dark truffles as a replacement for the original order that was out of stock, even though I can't stand dark chocolate. Godiva claimed that this was not the case, but my daughter had an email clearly stating that the original item was out of stock and dark truffles were the substitute. When I called customer service to complain, they assured me that the original order had already been shipped. However, when I asked for an exchange upon receiving the truffles, I was told it wasn't an option. To top it all off, two weeks later, my daughter was told her payment hadn't gone through, despite trying multiple times. This left me paying for something I didn't even want in the first place. All in all, this was the absolute worst shopping experience I've gone through.
Chocolate order for Christmas gift
OMG, I ordered some chocolates for Christmas back on Nov. 16th, and I politely requested that they arrive before Dec. 18th, but no such luck. I've been in touch with customer service countless times and still no guarantee they'll be here on time! So frustrated! I really should have checked the reviews beforehand. Definitely not ordering from here again, going to give See's Candy a shot next time!
Misuse of gift card
Sketchy business practices are running wild in the corporate world, eh? The other day, I got into it with a chocolate company because their website messed up my gift card purchase. I quick-like reached out to Customer Service to fix things, but they straight up said no to cancelling and reordering with the gift card. Talk about inflexible! This whole situation has left me feeling pretty let down. It's a real shame that a big company like them would pull this kind of shady move. Shows how money can sometimes come before treating customers right, eh?
Expensive chocolates
When I got those fancy chocolates that were pretty pricey, I was so pumped to try them out. But when they finally showed up, they were all crammed in a box that seemed like it got smashed by a truck! I was really let down because I forked out a bunch of cash for them and they ended up all mangled and crushed. Not cool, man.
Factory sealed variety box
I used to be a huge fan of Godiva chocolate. But ever since they shut down all their stores and started selling those plain old variety boxes, I've been let down. All I want is some dark chocolate mints and salted caramel truffles, is that too much to ask for? Why can't they just let me choose what I want? It's not worth it to buy a whole box when I only like a few pieces.

I ordered a bunch of holiday gifts a couple weeks back but haven't heard a peep since. I've been hitting them up by phone, chat, and email, but nada. Super frustrating. I gotta tell ya, my recent experience with this fancy-pants brand was an absolute nightmare! Despite being a big shot in the industry, the service I got was just awful. So, I ordered these fancy chocolate truffles but all I got was a big headache. Tracking my package was a total pain, and I waited a whole 8 days to hear back from customer service. And get this - they just left my package at the depot instead of bringing it right to my door like they said they would! To top it off, the person I was sending it to had some trouble getting it because of accessibility issues. They had to jump through hoops just to get their hands on it. And to make matters worse, no one even apologized or offered a solution to fix things. Unbelievable!
Second day shipping, Christmas gift
I recently bought a Christmas gift online and paid extra for second day shipping. When I got the confirmation, I was happy because it seemed like everything was right. But then two days later, I found out that my order hadn't even been shipped yet. I called Customer Service and was surprised that the person I talked to was really good - she was nice and professional. She told me that I had chosen a delayed delivery date for my order, which was news to me. The confirmation email I got didn't say anything about a delayed date, and why would I pay for second day shipping if I wanted it to come later? This whole thing made me feel pretty disappointed, and now I'm not sure if I want to buy from them again.
Chocolates for special occasions
Don't bother trying to send chocolates for a special occasion through their website. The new design is a mess - your address book mysteriously vanishes when you try to check out, making it impossible to send to the correct address. Even if you attempt to add a new address, your saved contacts won't appear. And forget about getting help fixing the problem; customer service is clueless and not helpful, just passing you around until you're stuck with a shipping disaster. The lack of responsibility and consideration for loyal customers is just terrible. So long, for good.
Recent online order
So, I had this frustrating situation trying to place an online order the other day. I was just trying to get something shipped to a US address as a Canadian customer, right? But, man, the representatives on the phone and in the chat were not making it easy for me at all. The website wasn't accepting my Canadian billing address for the order to go to a US spot where I usually get my packages. I explained this all to them, but it was like they just weren't getting it. All they kept saying was they don't ship to Canada. I even mentioned that I use a parcel service in Niagara Falls, NY, which lots of Canadians use to get stuff delivered from companies that don't ship to Canada. But, nope, they wouldn't budge on letting me give my credit card info over the phone for the purchase. The lack of flexibility and understanding from the customer service team really left me feeling let down and not too happy with the whole situation.
