Online order for child's present
I recently ordered a gift online for my kid, but unfortunately, it never showed up. Even though the order status said it was completed, I contacted customer service about the problem. I was disappointed when they just told me to send back the item with a note. How can I send back something I never got in the first place? I felt like Topps' response was robotic and didn't really help with my specific problem. Now I'm stuck without my purchase and no closer to fixing things. I'm pretty upset and annoyed by this poor service, so I'll be taking further actions to make sure this gets sorted out properly.
Sports cards box
Hey man, check it out, I bought this sports cards box and it arrived all messed up. I was gonna give it as a gift and it was supposed to be flawless! They only gave me a 10% discount for my next purchase, like seriously, what am I gonna do with that? And then they wanted me to open the box and inspect the cards for damage, like no way, that's not cool. The customer service was pretty meh too, they didn't really help me out at all. I feel like they should have just sent me a brand new box! The only good thing was that it arrived quickly and they responded fast, but they didn't really solve the issue.
Numbered refractor rookie card
Oh my goodness, I was so stoked when I finally got my hands on this super rare rookie card to add to my collection. But when I saw that it had some factory issues on the back, I had to send it back to get a replacement. And when the replacement arrived, it turned out to be a SECOND YEAR card that's only worth half the value! I was so bummed out because rookie cards are supposed to increase in value, not decrease. I can't wrap my head around the fact that they would treat a loyal customer like me this way. It feels like they don't give a darn!
Bought a pack of cards
So, like, I got this pack of cards from this shop, you know? And get this - they couldn't deliver it 'cause they said my address was wrong! I mean, seriously? I know where I live, man. It's been like weeks now and they still haven't refunded my money. Don't even bother buying from them, they're total scammers, eh.
Trading cards
I thought I'd check out this store, even though I heard some mixed reviews. I gotta say, ordering stuff was pretty easy. But the service could be better - the website kept acting up on me. It's annoying when you're trying to buy something and the site keeps messing up. The prices seemed fair for what you get. And my order got to me pretty quick, which was a nice surprise. All in all, despite some issues, I had an okay time and would think about shopping here again.
Sticker packs
I was really disappointed with my latest purchase of sticker packs. I got 3 packs with 8 stickers in each, but one of them was exactly the same as another pack. So now I've got more than 90 stickers that are the same, giving me almost 190 stickers in total and my album is still empty. This mix-up is not cool at all and now I don't feel like collecting these stickers anymore.
Overpriced baseball cards
If you like wasting your money on expensive pieces of cardboard that don't really mean anything, then this is the spot for you. The prices are crazy high, and trying to find those rare cards is just a way to make money off of us. Save your cash and put it towards something that's actually worth it.
Advent calendar for son
So, I ordered this advent calendar for my son and it took like forever to arrive. It was like 9 whole days! I totally thought it was because of the mail strikes, but then I got a notification that they just shipped it. My son was super bummed out because he had to wait so long. Not cool at all, man.

Trading cards
I've been collecting trading cards for a long time, and let me tell you, my experience with this company was not great. Every time they released a new batch, the website would crash, and it was pretty clear that those scalpers with bots were grabbing most of the cards before us regular folks even had a shot. It felt like the company cared more about making money off resellers than taking care of us loyal customers. The card prices were already steep, and having to battle scalpers just drove them even higher, making it tough for the average collector to afford them at retail price. The company's greed is just not cool, and it's only pushing away the very customers they should be looking after.
Autograph football player card
I got this autograph football player card from Topps and it was like totally damaged when I got it! It looked like it got burned at the printing process or something. So I took some photos and sent them to Topps. They asked me to send the card to them for more investigating. I did that and they finally got back to me and admitted it was their fault for the damage. But then they said they couldn't do anything because the card was like, one of a kind or something. My son was super upset because it was his first auto card that he pulled. Topps said they might have a replacement in Italy, but it's been like forever and still nothing! Now my son doesn't even want to collect cards anymore. Thanks a lot, Topps!

I just bought some trading cards from the store, eh. The website said it would take 5-7 days for delivery, but, geez, my package didn't show up in that time. I contacted customer service through email and phone, but they weren't much help and just made excuses. Finally, I had enough and decided to cancel my order because the company wasn't communicating well or being transparent. It was so annoying to see the tracking info only get updated after I asked to cancel, which makes me think they didn't even have the cards in stock to begin with. If they want to make things better for customers, they should really add an 'in stock' notification on their site to prevent this kind of mess in the future, ya know?
Card purchase
I can't believe how awful this company is, eh! I used my hard-earned allowance to buy some cards and they were in terrible shape, you know? I tried reaching out to them but they didn't answer. Like, what's up with that, eh? I've been collecting cards for a while now and this is definitely the worst experience I've ever had. Don't bother spending your money here, buddies!
Redemption for three years
I've been dealing with an issue regarding a redemption I sent in three years ago. I've tried reaching out to the company multiple times through email and phone, but have not received any resolution. Every time I contact them, they say they will escalate my case, but then I never hear back. I've talked to different people, like Eric, Nic, and Patrick O' Sullivan, but nothing changes - no one wants to help address the problem. It's frustrating to be left hanging without any updates or progress on the redemption I've been waiting for. They haven't offered a replacement or any compensation. The lack of communication and poor customer service from this company is disappointing. I suggest others avoid them, as they don't seem to prioritize or care about their customers' issues.
Recent purchase was missing parts
I recently bought something from this company, and I gotta say, it was kind of a letdown when only one out of the three parts I ordered showed up. I tried reaching out to them by phone, email, and messaging a bunch of times but got no response for a whole week. It wasn't until another week later that the missing parts finally arrived. In my opinion, this company really needs to step up their game when it comes to keeping customers in the loop about their delivery times and letting them know when their stuff is on the way.
Champs League Stickers and starter pack
So yeah, I got these really cool Champs League Stickers and a starter pack back on October 16th. But get this, they didn't actually ship it out until October 28th! I had to email them first to even find out what was going on. And then when the package finally arrived on October 31st, it wasn't even what I ordered! Instead, I got stuck with 7 boxes of Sidemen cards... like, seriously, what even are those? I tried to complain through their system so many times, but got nowhere. And don't even get me started on trying to call them, it was like their phones weren't even working because of Covid. I've never been treated so poorly by a company, it's honestly a joke. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this place!
Chrome UEFA Womens Champions League Cards
I just bought two boxes of Chrome UEFA Womens Champions League Cards from a store outside of Canada. Unfortunately, one of the cards had a flaw in the laminate. I contacted the customer service team at the main office in Milton Keynes, England, but even after sending many emails and providing pictures and my receipt, they couldn't help me. They sent me to the USA office, but I haven't heard back from them. It's frustrating that such a big company can't handle valid complaints. I'd advise people to be cautious before buying anything from this brand.

What used to be seen as the best in collectible cards has turned into a mess of lies and greed. It's clear that Topps, a name that used to mean something good in this hobby, now cares more about making money than keeping their customers happy. The tricky marketing strategies and falsely labeled products make it hard for collectors to trust them. And all those redemptions that take forever to be fulfilled just make things worse. The cards from Topps are too expensive now, and collectors are left feeling ripped off and let down. It's heartbreaking to witness the downfall of a company that used to be so respected.
