Wall clock Stop2Go, expensive and low quality
I recently bought three wall clocks Stop2Go for myself and my family. Unfortunately, all of them are running too fast, like several minutes too fast every month. It's super annoying. They don't adjust the time automatically, so I have to go in and manually fix it through the app. This means the clock has to go all the way around to catch up every time, which drains the battery. The minute hand gets pulled down too, about half a minute because of its weight, so the time readings are off. And on top of that, the clocks don't even adjust for daylight savings time, so I have to fix that manually too. I tried reaching out to customer service to complain, but never heard back. I shelled out a whopping 290 CHF for each clock, so I was expecting way better quality. These clocks just don't live up to the usual Swiss standards I'm used to, so unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend them.
Quirky watch, eco-friendly materials, vegan straps
I got this super cool watch that's eco-friendly, and they call it quirky, so it's different from your usual watch, eh? The materials are good for the environment, which is just awesome. And the vegan straps add a nice touch. I feel like I'm making a positive impact on the planet while still looking stylish. It's a win-win situation!
Broke strap
I bought a watch and then the strap broke, so I needed to get a replacement. But the replacement they gave me didn't fit properly, and I couldn't even get a hold of their customer service team. Seriously, steer clear of this place at all costs.
Cheap movement replacement
My Mondaine watch, which was pretty pricey, decided to take a little break after it took a tumble onto the floor. I was shocked when I found out the repair wasn't going to break the bank like I thought it would. Turns out, the problem was with the low-quality movement inside the watch, which I had to replace for way less than what I paid for the watch initially. It got me thinking about the brand's integrity and the accuracy of their pricing, given how expensive it was to begin with.
Leather straps discontinued
I used to love my watch from this place because it was super cute and I've had it for a long time. But now they stopped selling the leather straps I need and the only option is some fake grape leather that probably won't even last. So now I'm mad and sad and my favorite watch is ruined.
Elegant, unreliable watch purchase
I bought this really nice watch with the date feature and a Milanese strap. It looked so sleek! But after only 2 months, the date went wonky - showing the 35th day of the month and losing 6 hours overnight. I sent it back to get fixed, but the problem still wasn't fixed. It kept hopping from the 16th to the 6th of the next month. So, in the end, I had to give up on the watch and get a refund. It was a real bummer!
Explorateur watch purchased
I bought the Explorateur watch from you guys not too long ago. I was pretty stoked to get my hands on it, but the shipping ended up taking way longer than I thought. Supposed to show up in November, but didn't get it until December. And to top it off, when it finally arrived, the thing was busted. The minute hand was all over the place whenever I moved the watch, so I couldn't even use it to check the time properly. I tried reaching out to the customer service team through email, but haven't heard back from them yet. The lack of response is super frustrating and really makes me question how reliable your customer service is.
Two watches gifted, battery problems
I got two watches as gifts and they both seem to go through batteries every 6 months! I tried to let the company know about the problem and they sort of ignored me. I even purchased the lifetime battery plan from a major retailer, but now they're claiming it's the watch movements that are the issue! I rarely wear them outside the house, but whenever I do try to put them on, they're not running! I wouldn't suggest these watches at all. My £17 casino watch from Argos gets more attention from me every day.
Replacement Strap purchase
So I bought a new strap for my watch from the Mondaine site, right? But when it arrived, I could tell right away that the quality was not as good as the original one that came with my watch. The material felt flimsy and the band was a pain to close when I put it on the watch. I reached out to customer service to let them know, but I wasn't happy with their response. They basically said I couldn't get a refund or a new strap because I had already tried it on. That just doesn't make sense - how else would I know if it worked unless I put it on, you know?
Got a broken watch 😡
I bought a watch and when it showed up, it was all scratched up and damaged. It was such a pain to get them to send me a replacement. They even wanted me to pay to ship back the broken one. Ended up having to get my money back through my credit card. So frustrating, definitely the worst shopping experience ever!
Watch
I had a really awful experience with this company. Communication was basically non-existent and the service was just plain terrible. If you're thinking of getting a watch, I'd recommend going somewhere else to avoid all the trouble.
Gifted a watch
I got this fancy watch for my birthday and would you believe it, it stopped working after just 2 years and 2 months. I tried to get it fixed but the company said no way. What a total bummer!
Stop2go clock
The Stop2go clock is honestly so disappointing. It loses a few minutes every day and the hands constantly need adjusting, which is super irritating. The cool stop2go feature doesn't make up for its bad timekeeping. I wouldn't recommend dropping a bunch of money on this clock, it's just not worth the frustration.
Mondaine clock probs
I got this awesome clock last year when I was in Switzerland, it's super stylish. But then the battery died and now I can't even set the time on it! When I reached out to customer service, they just gave me the address of their UK service centre. Not very helpful, eh? Now I have to pay to get it fixed, so frustrating!
Replacement strap not available
I've been waiting for like two months now for Mondaine to hit me back about a new strap for my watch! It's driving me crazy because I really adore my watch and I can't even rock it without a strap. What's the use of having a sweet watch if I can't even sport it? I shot them all the deets and pics they needed, but still no strap in sight. C'mon, Mondaine, step up your game!
Recent online purchase experience
I recently placed an order online and have been patiently waiting for it to arrive for the past three weeks. I'm starting to question whether this company is legit because there have been no updates or communication about my order. I sent an email to customer service, but all I got back was an automated response and no real help. This whole situation has been really disappointing, especially since I was hoping to get my order in time for Christmas as a gift. The lack of transparency and communication from this company is just not cool, and it's made me frustrated and feeling like I've been misled. If my order doesn't show up soon, I might have to talk to my bank about getting a refund in the new year.
Simple and classic watch

My giant watch with backlight
Oh my goodness, you all! I just have to talk to you about this amazing watch I got a couple months back. It's seriously the greatest thing ever! The backlight is super cool, it glows in the dark like magic. Plus, it's really comfy on my wrist. The dial is big and easy to read. Honestly, this watch is now my absolute favorite!
Evo2 watch
I got an Evo2 watch last year and just this week, it suddenly died on me. I reached out to the service center and they told me to send it in for repairs. So, I did that and then they hit me with a bill of £172 to fix the movement because apparently, the warranty didn't cover wear and tear on the strap. I was totally taken aback when they said they wouldn't fix it just because I actually wore the watch. This whole thing has left me super disappointed and fed up. They won't be getting any more of my business, that's for sure. Seems like they value style over quality and customer care.
