Designer clothing purchase
As a loyal customer of Gilt for a while now, I've always been happy with my orders. The stuff I get is always top quality and genuine, which I really appreciate. They ship super fast and I've never had any problems with delivery. Just make sure to read the item description carefully to avoid buying final sale items, unless you're totally sure about it.
So, I got a ring that's not even real
I bought this super cool ring thinking it was a great deal, but turns out it's fake! I dropped $800 on it and now I know it's not even real! I'm so steamed and just want a refund, but they're trying to hit me with an $11.99 fee just to get my cash back. That's not right!
Glassware delivered shattered, package left at wrong address
I bought some fragile glassware from this online store not too long ago, but when my two separate orders finally arrived, both had shattered items inside. And to add insult to injury, one of the orders even got sent to the wrong address by a well-known courier service, which just made everything even more annoying. When I tried to contact customer service for help, they were incredibly slow to respond and didn't offer much assistance, dragging out the whole process longer than I had anticipated. All in all, I was really disappointed by their service and reliability.
Clothing purchase
I bought some clothes that were supposed to be discounted luxury items, but turns out they were overpriced. The suggested retail prices they showed were fake, so don't fall for that! Also, when I tried to check out, it went through without me checking the details, and Customer Support was no help at all. So frustrating! And on top of that, the items were final sale. I'm definitely going to leave negative reviews everywhere!
Suzy Levian necklace lost in transit
This company is such a nightmare to deal with, eh! I ordered a Suzy Levian necklace, and it's been lost in transit for weeks, bud. They've been no help at all, just telling me to sit tight for 20 days before they even start looking into it. And when they finally do investigate, they take their sweet time, eh. They use this cheap shipping method, Smartpost by FedEx, which clearly shows they don't give a hoot about the quality of service they provide. They don't offer any solutions or ways to fix the situation, showing a complete lack of responsibility, eh. Save your money and shop elsewhere, like Gilt, there are better options out there, trust me.
Sweater return
I returned a sweater to Gilt in January that was worth $60. Got an email on Jan-18th saying they got it, but still no refund. Called twice and they said it was coming, but when I called on Feb-14, they said they never got it and won't refund me. That's just not right, so unprofessional and careless.
Return refund delay
I just returned something and now I've been waiting forever for my refund. They say it could take up to 7-10 business days, but come on, it's all electronic nowadays, shouldn't it be quicker? It's so annoying how they can take my money right away but drag their feet when it comes to giving it back.
Predire massage glasses
My experience with Gilt was just awful, eh? I ordered a pair of Predire massage glasses and when they arrived, they were already scratched and wouldn't charge, you know? It was obvious to me that they weren't brand new and looked like they had been used as a display model in the store. I tried to talk to Gilt customer service to fix the problem, but they were not helpful at all and didn't want to give me a refund or let me return them. So now I'm stuck with these useless glasses, eh?
Purchase items keep getting auto-cancelled
So, I thought I hit the jackpot with Gilt - they had awesome stuff at great prices. But man, was I ever mistaken. Every time I tried to place an order, it got automatically cancelled for no good reason. My cards were good, all my info was right, but still, my orders kept getting the boot. I called their customer service so many times, but each time I got a different excuse. It was like they had no idea what was happening. I even tried different payment methods like they suggested, but no luck. And on top of it all, I never even got a heads up about the cancellations. It's like they don't care about keeping their customers in the loop. The whole ordeal was super frustrating, and it made me take my business elsewhere in the end.
Bag purchase
I recently bought a bag from this site and let me tell you, my customer service experience was just awful. I called with a basic question about the bag I wanted to buy, but the person I talked to, Cierra, had the worst attitude. She couldn't give me any info and straight up refused to connect me with someone who could help. Her unhelpful and unfriendly vibe has me wondering how they treat customers who actually buy stuff, especially if there are problems like refunds or returns. It's too bad that a simple question led to such a negative experience, making me think about just buying directly from the brand next time.
Unwanted purchase
As a customer of this online store, I just have to say how unhappy I am with my recent experience. So, I made an order and then realized I messed up pretty much right away. I tried to cancel it right then, but no luck. I called and emailed a bunch of times. Seriously, the customer service team was no help at all. They charged me twice for the order, and then they couldn't even give me straight answers about what was going on with it. I had to wait for ten whole days just to find out the thing got sent out already, and I couldn't even return it. So not cool. They were so shady, bad at communicating, and clearly didn't care about keeping customers happy. Unacceptable.
Shoes purchase
I bought some shoes on Gilt not long ago and it turns out they're fake knock-offs. I was pretty disappointed because Gilt is known for being a reputable company. I contacted them to talk about the issue and let them know how I felt, but their response was not great. They didn't want to admit any fault or even consider that the problem could be on their end. They kept saying their products are all real. This whole situation has made me lose trust in Gilt and I don't really feel like shopping there anymore.
Birthday gift order issue
I just got a birthday gift from my friend through this platform, but there have been so many problems with the order. The company keeps canceling it but still taking the money, saying they can't confirm the cardholder. I've tried to verify and buy it again several times, but they're still holding over $6,000. It's really worrying me because it seems like it could be a scam.
Foreign exchange rate scam
Don't fall for their "no hidden fees" promise. Their foreign exchange rates are way too high compared to the market rate, so you end up shelling out way more than you should. It's a complete rip-off!
Bought a cool pan
I bought this super cool pan online, eh? But when it arrived in the mail, it was all broken and chipped. So sad, eh? I won't be shopping from that store again, that's for sure. Life's too short for crappy surprises, you know?
Fake products, credit card charges
This company is just terrible, eh. Their stuff is all fake but they try to pass it off as legit and charge an arm and a leg for it, eh. My boyfriend got me a so-called Gucci item from them, turns out it was a total knockoff when we checked with Gucci, eh. And on top of that, when I used PayPal, they went and double-charged my other credit card without saying a word, eh. They're a total scam, folks - do yourselves a favor and steer clear of 'em, eh.
Rolling cart purchase
I bought a rolling cart from this store not too long ago, and let me tell you, it was a real letdown from beginning to end. The first cart I got had a big dent in it, probably from not being packaged right during shipping. They did send me a replacement pretty quickly, but then I noticed another problem with the second cart. One of the metal boards, which was supposed to be covered in plastic, had fingerprints and paw prints all over it. It was pretty unsettling to see that, since it made it seem like the product had been messed with or mishandled. I reached out to customer service about it, asking for a refund or some other solution, but their response was pretty dismissive. The lack of responsibility and help for customers is really disappointing and doesn't reflect well on the company at all.
