Efficient customer service
I had a problem with an order and got in touch with customer service. I gave my order number and explained what was going on, and then Liz got back to me right away. She knew her stuff and sorted out my problem in just one email, no more back and forth needed. I was really impressed by how quick and professional the customer service team was. Because of this great experience, I'll definitely be shopping with them again as a customer.
Headphones purchase
I was kinda bummed about the headphones I bought from Drop not too long ago. It took forever for them to arrive, like a whopping 3 weeks, which was a big hassle. And then, to top it off, I had to pay an extra delivery fee that they didn't even tell me about when I bought them. I was so annoyed with the lack of transparency about those extra costs. On top of that, I had to fork out unexpected customs fees, hiking up the cost by almost 20%. When I tried to talk to the customer service about all this, they gave me some generic response and pointed me to an article on their website. Overall, the whole ordeal left me feeling unsatisfied and not wanting to order from Drop again in the future.
Delayed shipment frustration
I bought something recently and I was supposed to get it by a certain date, but it keeps getting delayed without a good reason. The company isn't giving me much info or keeping me updated on my order, which is really frustrating. I know that stuff happens that can slow things down, like production issues, but the way customer service has been handling this situation is not great.
Online order delay
So I made an online order not long ago, and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare. First off, there was no way to talk to a real person right away to sort things out. I had to wait days just to get an email back about where my order was. And to top it off, I was told my order would be here by 4/10, but it didn't show up until 4/20. And even though they said they'd give an update on 4/20, they never got back to us. The whole thing was just a mess - waiting forever and then having slow shipping on top of it all. Just not a good experience overall.
new website layout sucks
The new website layout is super confusing, I mean, seriously! It feels like all they're selling now is the same stuff on repeat. I can't find any of the cool TV screens, computer parts, monitors, or gaming gear anymore. The website is so boring now. I have no idea what they did to make it this bad. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends unless they fix it up.
Keycaps purchase
I just bought some keycaps from Drop recently. I was really looking forward to getting a really top-notch set, but the whole thing turned out to be a bit of a letdown. When the keycaps arrived, they were all jumbled up in a poorly packed box, with some even missing. The quality of the keycaps was just okay, definitely not what I was expecting for the price I paid. Honestly, I could've gotten the same or better quality for way less somewhere else. Plus, getting all those annoying spam emails after I made the purchase just made the whole thing even more disappointing.
Running shoes purchase
I can't believe I trusted this place for a deal on some running shoes, eh. It's been nearly a month and still no sign of my order. Their customer service is a total joke - updates are late, they never respond, and all they do is say they're too busy. I can't even get help on their discussion board. What a waste of my time and money, eh!
Incredible discount on high-quality headphones
I've gotta say, I was a bit nervous ordering from Drop after hearing some bad stuff from folks in the UK. But man, my experience was way better than what they were talking about. It was super easy - I ordered some headphones and they told me when they'd be sent out. Yeah, it took a bit longer because of a big order, but the savings were so worth it. Drop kept me in the loop the whole time, which was awesome. And let me tell you, these headphones are amazing - the sound is just as good as those fancy brands but way cheaper. Even with shipping, I saved a bunch compared to buying in a store. And they got to me super quick, only five days to the UK. I'm really happy with my purchase from Drop.
Wireless earbuds
I just got some wireless earbuds from Drop and I gotta say, I'm super happy with how everything went down. Even though they don't have a store just for us Canucks, ordering was smooth sailing. Their website was easy to use and checking out was a breeze. And let me tell you, the customer service was top-notch. They knew their stuff and helped me out with all my questions. The price was fair too, didn't break the bank. Delivery was quick too, I got my order in just a few days. All in all, I'm a happy camper with my Drop purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Middle priced watch
I recently ordered a watch online that was priced in the middle range. The delivery was on time and everything went smoothly. But after checking out some reviews from other customers, it looks like my experience was more of a lucky break. A lot of people have shared worries about buying pricey stuff from the same platform. Now I'm feeling a bit unsure about making any big buys from there in the future.
Purchased clothing, mis-sized shorts
I bought a pair of shorts online that were supposed to be my size, but they turned out to be way too small when I got them. I was pretty bummed about it, but when I contacted customer service, they were super helpful. They got back to me quickly and gave me a full refund, which I wasn't expecting at all. Even though I wasn't happy with the shorts, the great customer service actually made me feel better about the company overall.
Delayed Delivery
My experience with Drop was not great at all. The ordering process was fine, but when it came to the delivery, it was a total disaster. It took more than three weeks for my order to finally show up, which is just not okay nowadays. And the fact that they don't let FedEx hold packages at nearby pick-up spots is a real pain. You'd think a company from a big city would know better about providing convenient delivery choices. All in all, I was really let down by my experience with them.
Headphones
So, I had a pair of headphones crap out on me not too long ago and decided to contact customer service for help. To my surprise, the Drop team was super helpful. David Querubin over at Drop Community Support really knew his stuff and was quick to assist me in getting the problem sorted out. The whole thing was smooth sailing and he had a fix for me in no time. As a person who loves good sound and appreciates solid customer service, I'd definitely suggest Drop to any other audiophiles out there. These folks really go the extra mile to make sure you're happy with their service.
Belt doesn't match pictures
I bought this belt thinking it would look really awesome, but it doesn't actually look like the pictures online at all. Seriously! I tried to talk to them about returning it, but get this, they don't accept returns unless there's something physically wrong with the clothing, not just because it didn't fit or looked different in the photos. Seriously, what's with that? Definitely not shopping with them again, that's for sure!
Online Purchase
I gotta say, the customer service I got during my online purchase was top-notch. Liz and Katlyn, from the customer service team, were so helpful and quick in responding to my queries. I had a concern about a purchase I made that went on sale right after, and they didn't hesitate to give me a refund for the price difference. It's not every day you come across such honesty and fairness in companies, so I really gotta give them props for that. Usually, I don't leave reviews, but the stellar service I got from this company just had me wanting to share my positive experience here.
Wrong product, insufficient compensation, high customs fees, faulty product outside warranty period
I can't believe this company, eh! I ordered something from them, and they sent me the wrong thing. They didn't do much to make up for their mistake, and on top of that, they couldn't even send me the right thing 'cause it was out of stock. To make things worse, I had to fork over a bunch of money in customs fees for this thing I never even wanted. And to top it all off, the keyboard kit they sent me conked out after just a month. And get this - they wouldn't help me fix it 'cause apparently, it's not covered by their return or warranty policy anymore. What a joke, eh! I really hope this company goes under so others don't have to deal with their lousy products and awful customer service.
Blades and EDC products
I've noticed that Massdrop often gets some heat from customers, but personally, I've had a great experience with them. I've bought a few things in the blades and EDC categories and have always been really happy with what I received. The products are high-quality and exactly what I was expecting. I can't vouch for their clothes and watches, but if you're looking for knives, Massdrop is the way to go.
New headphones
I bought some headphones from that place, eh? But now they really suck, eh. They were good before, but now they won't ship my stuff, lie about it, and ignore my emails, eh. I still have orders waiting, but I don't think they'll ever come, eh. There are so many other places to shop at that actually care about their customers, eh. I'd honestly get better service from some unknown Chinese company than from those guys, eh. They should just change their name to 'Massive Disappointment' again, eh.
Watches and headphones
Eh, over the past year, I've bought some watches and headphones from Drop a few times. Even though the prices are about the same in Canadian dollars as they are in US dollars because of import duties and customs fees, I've still found some good deals. You gotta watch out for the delivery dates though, not everything ships right away after you order. I've been pretty impressed with the quality and value of the stuff that Drop brands themselves. And if you ever need to cancel an order before it's shipped, it's a simple and easy process.
Extremely patient customer service
Crystal was amazing, she saved my butt by fixing a problem from last year that I thought was hopeless. She's a superhero with her dedication and problem-solving skills. Thanks a ton for coming to the rescue!
