Tennis racket return
So, I bought my kid a tennis racket from this store, but it turned out to be faulty. I was pretty upset because it was meant to be a birthday present. Luckily, I went to the High Street Kensington store and they were really nice! They tested the racket, found the issue, and even though they didn't have the same one to exchange, they helped me pick out a new one that was just as good. The staff, Dicky, Shreya, and Viktor, were amazing and super helpful. I'll definitely be going back there in the future!
Customized football shirt lettering
The person working at the store in Giltbrook was super helpful and patient when helping us with custom lettering for a football shirt. We really liked his friendly attitude and sense of humor, especially with all the renovation going on at the store. All in all, we got fast and great service. Thanks a lot!
Inflatable mattress purchase
I bought an inflatable mattress from this store about a month ago. Somehow, it never got delivered to my door. I tried to get in touch with the delivery company to find out where it was, but they couldn't give me any info and told me to talk to the seller. So, I reached out to the seller through their chat support, but they said the product had already been dropped off. This whole thing is making me super frustrated because I can't even get a refund now.
Raincoat purchase
I was really happy with my first purchase from this store, everything went smoothly. But I have to say, my experience with the second-hand products section was not great. I ordered a raincoat but got leather gloves instead. I had to organize a pick-up for the wrong item, and they didn't offer to send me the raincoat I actually wanted. Even though I got a half-hearted apology, it's been more than a week since I returned the gloves and I still haven't gotten my refund. It's a shame that this experience with Decathlon's second-hand products has changed my opinion of the store. I used to recommend Decathlon to people, but now I'm feeling let down.
Bought a baseball bat and some new sneakers.
Just found this store and it's really awesome! I enjoy using the self-checkout because it's so tech-savvy. I wish there were more stores like this closer to where I live!
Outdoor running shoes
I recently bought some running shoes for outdoors from this store. I ordered them online because it's easier to pick them up at the store. But, there were a few problems with my order. At first, the pick-up date that I saw online was different from what they told me after I paid. I tried to cancel my order by email, but didn't hear back. In the end, I decided to just go get the shoes as planned, only to find out they were the wrong size. Unfortunately, when I tried to fix things, I got no response. This whole thing has made me pretty frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service.
Parcel return with QR code
I used the store's order and return option for delivery, but I had some trouble when I tried to return the parcel with the QR code provided. The code didn't work at the store, and even after I contacted customer service, the return didn't go through correctly. I had to go back to the store again, which was really annoying. I saw other customers having the same issues with their returns too. I wouldn't suggest using this option.
Wetsuit Purchase
I recently bought a wetsuit for my son from the website and used the size chart they provided. Unfortunately, when it came, it was too small. Now, I'm trying to exchange it for a bigger size, but I'm having a hard time finding clear instructions on how to do that on the website. I tried messaging customer service through WhatsApp, but after five hours, I still haven't heard back from a real person. This level of customer service is not okay, especially from a store that's supposed to be reputable. If I knew I would be left hanging like this, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place.
Online bike purchase
This is just so darn frustrating! I bought a bike online and it's been a total disaster. They were supposed to deliver it on May 7 but it still hasn't shown up. I've tried getting in touch multiple times to ask for an update, but I haven't heard anything back from Decathlon or RMX Trading Ltd. How can it be that in this day and age, a company can't give a simple update on a delivery? I'm so fed up with this awful customer service and I'll definitely think long and hard before buying from them again.
Online purchase experience
I gotta say, I'm a big fan of this company's products and stores. The customer service has been pretty solid too. But man, let me tell you, online shopping with them was a complete mess. Their website is all over the place - no return links, instructions that are way out of date, and even wrong info from their customer service reps. It's super frustrating when you can't even get a simple return sorted out properly. And good luck trying to reach someone for help - no phone number, outdated info, and the store doesn't even return calls. Your only option is to use an online form, which might not even give you the right answers.
On the plus side, Asda ToYou's delivery and returns service is smooth and easy to use, but you're pretty much left to figure it out on your own. All in all, this company really needs to step up their game when it comes to online systems and customer service if they want to keep up with today's standards in eCommerce.Inflatable kayak info

Delayed Delivery Experience
Sorry, but the delivery service from this store has been a real letdown for me. I ordered something a month ago and they said it would come on May 25th. But then, on delivery day, I got an email saying it was delayed another week. It's been super annoying cause I really needed it fast. The bad communication and reliability from the delivery service has me thinking twice about shopping there again.
Environmentally friendly packaging
I was happy to see that this time, the company made a good change by switching to paper tape for packaging instead of plastic tape. This small but important change shows that the company is trying to reduce its impact on the environment, which is great. It's the little things like this that make a company stand out and have a good effect on the environment. In general, I appreciate Decathlon's dedication to sustainability and hope other companies do the same.
Walking shoes purchase
I was looking for some walking shoes online and I finally came across them in a store within a big grocery store in Cardiff. I decided to head over there the next day, found the shoes I had my eye on, and the person working there was really helpful in guiding me to the shoes and ringing me up at the checkout. I also took a look at their selection of outdoor clothing and I'll definitely be making a return trip there soon!
pull up bar broke
I got this pull up bar thing once, but then the clip on it busted. I tried getting a new one, but it was a pain 'cause I live far from the store. Luckily, the folks at the store came through and found a way to get me that replacement. They were super nice and helpful about it! Huge thanks to them!
Modest sportswear top with long sleeves for Muslim women
Big shoutout to Ethan over at the Eastlands store for really going above and beyond to help me find the perfect sportswear top! I thought it was gonna be impossible to find one that was long enough to cover my butt and had sleeves that actually reached my wrists, but he didn't throw in the towel. Instead, he came through with a great alternative that I totally loved. And on top of that, much appreciation for stepping in and doing the self-service checkout for me. That extra bit of assistance did not go unnoticed. Thanks again, Ethan!
Kayak purchase
I just bought a kayak from this store and I gotta say, the service was top-notch. Claudia, the staff member, really knew her stuff and went out of her way to help me pick the right one. She made the whole buying process super easy and fun with her helpfulness and expertise. I'll definitely be coming back to this store for any outdoor gear I need in the future.
Bicycle servicing
When my usual guy for fixing up my bike wasn't around, I thought I'd give a store in Kensington High Street a shot. And man, was I glad I did. My bike rides like a dream now, smoother than ever. The mechanic there really knew their stuff, did an amazing job fixing and replacing parts. I'm beyond happy with how it turned out. Definitely recommending them to anyone looking for bike help.
Back protector fitting and mountain bike advice
Got some really great service from a lady named Hollie at the store. She knew her stuff and helped me pick out a back protector and gave me some good tips on buying a mountain bike. I really liked how friendly and helpful she was the whole time I was shopping. Hollie went the extra mile to help out customers like me, so she definitely deserves some recognition.
Online purchase experience
I recently bought something online and was bummed because I couldn't find an easy way to return it on the website. I tried watching a Youtube video for help, but it was old and didn't really guide me through. I also had a hard time getting in touch with a live chat agent for help. But, when I finally emailed them, they got back to me quickly and gave me a Royal Mail label to send my item back.
