Software purchase, Customer service experience
I recently bought some software from Cyberlink and let me tell you, their customer service was top-notch. I've been using their software for ages and it's hands down the best out there. But, when my 11-year-old son mistakenly tossed the box with the install code for the newest Powerdirector version, I reached out to customer support for help. The person I talked to was so helpful and quickly got me a new code. I can't say enough good things about this company - not only do they have amazing software, but their customer service is just outstanding.
Photo editing software purchase
I just bought this photo editing software from Cyberlink for 88 bucks. I was pumped to use all the features they advertised, but turns out some of them are only in the "Premium" version which they didn't make clear. When I tried to test out the premium features, I got sent to a page saying I was already subscribed. That sketchy advertising made me feel ripped off and annoyed. I've reached out to PayPal to fix this, but just a heads up to be on your guard with this company's shady tactics.
Software player purchase
I was so bummed out with the software player I bought from this company. They said it was the "best free video player," but it was honestly pretty bad. It didn't have much to offer and the quality was lacking, which made it super annoying to use. It seemed like the developers didn't really know what they were doing. All in all, I regret spending my time and money on such a mediocre software player.
Mac M2 software license
I bought a Mac M2 software license from this company, and boy did I run into some problems! Even though I specifically chose the Mac version, they ended up giving me a Windows license instead. And get this - they wanted me to pay double the price for the Mac license AND told me that some features wouldn't even work right! When I tried to get a refund, they sent me to a page that didn't even exist. The customer service was useless, just kept telling me to contact 2checkout support for any refund questions. It was a total headache from start to finish.
Ultimate Bundle purchase
I can't believe the nerve of this software company, eh! I bought what I thought was gonna be the awesome bundle, but turns out I gotta upgrade to the platinum version just to get all the features I want. And don't even get me started on how fast they keep pushing out new versions, always making me feel like I gotta shell out more loonies. It's like a never-ending loop of upgrades and letdowns, eh.
Editing software subscription
I gave this editing software subscription a shot and let me tell you, it was total garbage. Seriously, it was so bad! I suggest checking out Davinci Resolve or investing in Filmora instead. With those, you only pay once, not every year like this one. I used to rely on this software for my YouTube videos, but when they cut me off even after I paid, I was done. Save your money and steer clear of this lousy editing software!
Cyberlink Power2Go 13
I just bought Cyberlink Power2Go 13 from this company and paid online to download it. Unfortunately, after only three months, the program stopped working properly. I had a lot of issues from the beginning, and I was really frustrated when it completely stopped working. I contacted customer service to ask for a new download of a working program, but they told me I would have to buy another year's subscription to get it. It felt like they were just trying to scam me. It's not right to charge customers for a program that doesn't work properly. It's really disappointing that this company is treating their customers this way.
Software purchase for photo and video editing
I recently made the switch from a big-name, expensive software brand to a more budget-friendly option. I gotta say, Cyberlink's stuff has been a game-changer for my photo and video editing. It's super easy to use, and I love being able to do all my editing in one place without having to bounce between different programs. The photo editing tools are straightforward and simple to figure out, so I can make my pictures look even better with no hassle. And the video editor is top-notch, giving me all the tools and effects I need to make some seriously pro-looking videos.
Makeup Director software
This company really let me down with their terrible customer service. I had such a hard time trying to reinstall my Makeup Director software. I had a computer meltdown and when I tried to reinstall the software, it said I had used up all my registrations. On top of that, I couldn't even log in to my Cyberlink accounts, even though I was putting in the right info. I even tried to change my password, but couldn't log in to do that either. It's obvious that this company doesn't care about their customers and gives really bad service.
4-month long process to resolve program crashing
I contacted Customer Service because a program on my computer kept crashing. They asked me for crash reports and other info, which I sent right away. But we went back and forth for a whole 4 months without fixing the problem. And just when I thought we were getting somewhere, they told me my subscription had ended. Can you believe it? Don't bother with this service, it's not worth the trouble.
Software products
I just bought some software stuff and I gotta say, the products are okay. But man, the way they sell and deal with customers at that place is just terrible. I feel like I got tricked into buying stuff, only for it to feel outdated as soon as the new version comes out. All those ads constantly hitting me up to upgrade are super annoying. It's like they don't give a damn about us regular customers, just wanna milk us for every cent.
Dell Inspiron laptop software
The Dell Inspiron laptop I got a couple years back has been solid for my everyday stuff like word processing, Excel, and internet browsing. Lately, I thought I'd check out some of the apps that came with it. But man, the Cyberlink software was a letdown. Right off the bat, I spotted a bunch of spelling mistakes and typos on the main page. That lack of care just doesn't fly with me for something I paid for, so I'm getting rid of it without even giving it a chance.
Free software download with purchase
I just bought something that came with a free software download, but man, it was more of a hassle than I anticipated. Had to make an account just to get to the download, which honestly seemed kinda pointless. And then the login was a pain because the password rules changed after I already made one. When I tried to get help from their support team, they said I could only see their response if I logged in, like really? So inconvenient. Plus, now I'm getting bombarded with emails from them every day - feels like straight-up spam.
Video and photo editing software
Unfortunately, my experience with the video and photo editing software was not great, eh. I ran into all sorts of limitations and problems while trying to use them, you know? It was really annoying not being able to adjust the duration and trim videos in ActionDirector 3, and the editing tools just weren't up to snuff. And don't even get me started on PhotoDirector 3 - it was missing key tools like blur, grunge, retro, and curve adjustments that other software has. All in all, I was let down by how these programs worked, ya know?
Full version software
I tried out the demo and liked it, so I decided to purchase the full version software. I was pretty excited, but once I got it, I realized it was not what I expected. The full version had limited features compared to the trial, which was a big letdown. One major issue was that it took a crazy 11 hours to export videos, and even then, they wouldn't play properly. I reached out to customer support, but all they could say was to update my drivers. I did everything they suggested, but it didn't fix the problem.
They promised a fix, but the download link they sent was broken. Two weeks later, still no solution. It felt like they were stalling on purpose, so I couldn't return the software within the 30-day window. Dealing with tech support was a nightmare. They just kept repeating the same advice to update DirectX, drivers, and reinstall the software, ignoring that many others in the forums were having the same issues. This whole experience has been beyond frustrating and disappointing.Software purchase
I recently bought some software from this company and man, was I ever let down by the quality. The stuff I got was full of bugs and kept messing up, which made it pretty much useless for what I needed. On top of that, their customer service was no help at all and couldn't figure out how to fix the problems I was having. I definitely wouldn't suggest buying anything from them because of their low-quality products and terrible customer support.
Blu-ray software purchase
I just bought some Blu-ray software from Cyberlink and I gotta say, I'm pretty upset with how it turned out. The dang thing made my pictures all squished and blurry, so now my Blu-rays are basically unwatchable. And to top it off, I also got another program from Cyberlink that ended up being useless since it didn't work with the first product. I feel like I got ripped off and wasted a hundred bucks for nothin'. It's a real letdown and now I wish I never trusted this company.
BluRay software purchase
CyberLink software is always a pain to use. Nothing seems to work smoothly, especially when I'm trying to watch a movie on a BluRay disc. Those updates are a nightmare, and downloading is such a hassle. The download they offered me was even flagged as a security risk! It feels like all they care about is selling frustration instead of a product that actually works.
