$800 shoe
I bought this $800 shoe online from them, but they ended up sending me the wrong color! I tried calling them multiple times and even went to the store in person, but for some stupid reason, I still couldn't return it. It's such a scam!
Online purchase offer
I recently bought a handbag online from this store, and boy, was it a mess! I had so many problems with the transaction. My card got charged three times, and I got an email saying there was some issue with verification. I had to call their customer service line to sort things out, gave them all the details they needed, only to find out that the handbag was actually out of stock. So, I called again and talked to a customer service person named Betty. She said I could buy the handbag in the store and get a price adjustment. But let me tell you, Betty was not very professional. She chuckled at my concerns and denied any shady business on their part. Her sarcastic and rude attitude really rubbed me the wrong way, and I ain't standing for it.
Clothing and accessories
My visit to this shop was a huge letdown. The service was just awful. I had trouble getting help from the staff, and when I finally did, they were unhelpful and not very friendly. On top of that, the prices were way too high for what they were offering. When I tried to return something, it took forever to get my cash back. It was a total pain and I definitely won't be coming back here.
A gift for my mom for Mother's Day
I got this gift for Mother's Day for my mom, but when I looked at the tracking, it said it was delivered. I searched all over the place, even checked under the couch cushions, but couldn't find it. I tried contacting the store, but they were no help at all! They refused to send a new gift or refund my money. I had to call my mom and break the news that her present got lost in the mail. So embarrassing! I called my dad to see if we could just buy another gift, but he said we have to wait for the bank to sort it out. I really hope I can get my mom's present soon because I don't want her to think I forgot about her!
Charge discrepancies
I just bought some things from Bloomingdale's and the quality was good, but I ran into some problems with the charges. The amount I had to pay at the checkout didn't match what was taken from my bank account. It was confusing because it wasn't an international charge or anything like that. Also, there were times when Bloomingdale's cancelled my orders because they said the item was out of stock. That was really annoying, especially if I was trying to get something limited and then finding out later that the store actually had it available.
Gift order for luxury nail polishes and base coat
I jut recently ordered a gift of three fancy nail polishes and a base coat, hoping for a nice package with a gift box and a personalized card message. But darn it, my order showed up with none of that - no gift box, no card message, not even a gift receipt. And they had to include the real receipt, destroyin' the surprise. The lack of attention to detail and presentation was a total letdown. And let me tell ya, the customer service was just terrible when I tried to fix things. This guy Chris from Denver, the supervisor, was no help at all - seemed like he was laughin' at my concerns. I had to make way too many calls to try to fix this mess, especially durin' the holidays. And to top it all off, the order showed up ten days late. Just a super disappointing experience that makes me think twice about shoppin' with them again in the future.
Perfume purchase
I went to Bloomingdale's on Lexington Avenue and it was amazing! The staff there were so nice and helpful. There was this lady in the perfume section who really went above and beyond to track down a discontinued perfume for me. She even gave me a free gift! The staff at other sections like Shiseido and Dyptique were also super friendly and helpful. The guys at John Varvatos were awesome too, they helped me pick out a great aftershave. Besides checking out the sights, Bloomingdale's is now my top spot in NYC.
Candle arrived broken
My candle that I bought from Bloomingdale's arrived all smashed up. I was really let down by the way it showed up, so I tried a bunch of times to get it sorted and get a new one. But, the customer service was no help at all and it took forever. I kept getting passed around and nobody could figure things out. I'm thinking of cutting ties with them and cancelling my credit card because of this whole mess.
Clothes, ordered online
I ordered some clothes online and apparently they got delivered, but when I went outside to check, I found them just thrown on the street! I tried to ask for a refund or to get a replacement, but they flat out said no. The supervisor was completely useless, and now I feel like I wasted all my money on these clothes. I definitely won't be shopping here again!
Exchange of a mini skirt for a different color
I recently went to Bloomingdale's to swap a mini skirt for a different color but found out they didn't have it anymore. I was a bit shocked and bummed that a popular item could disappear so quickly. The lady helping me was really nice and tried to figure something out. Even though it was a bummer, it made me think back to the times I went shopping with my mom at Bloomingdale's when I was young. It made me wonder if my daughter will have the same fond memories of shopping here, and maybe it's okay if she doesn't.
Expensive purchase
So I just had the worst shopping experience at this store recently, it was a total disaster. Their website was a complete mess, the checkout process was like something you'd see on a dodgy homemade Shopify site. I tried to add a gift box for 5 bucks but the checkbox didn't even work. And when I tried to put in my MasterCard info, it kept saying my card number was wrong, even though I typed it in right. They said I'd get a $25 discount with their loyalty club, but surprise, surprise, it never showed up. And don't even get me started on trying to reach customer service - had to actually call a number, like it's the Stone Age or something. The prices are sky-high for such a crappy online shopping setup. They better hope those rich customers don't wise up and ditch them.
Uggs purchase delay
I just bought a pair of boots for my daughter's Christmas present. At first, I got a message confirming everything was good to go. But then, I kept getting emails saying the delivery was delayed - first to January, then to February. That's just not cool, especially since I wanted those boots for the winter. The customer service was terrible, and I'm really not happy with how things went down at that store. I've decided I won't be shopping there again.
Dinnerware set
I ordered a dinnerware set online last fall and had a bit of a rough time with it. Two of the dishes were smashed when they arrived at my house. I got in touch with Bloomies customer service and they quickly gave me a credit for one of the broken dishes, saying they'd send a replacement for the other dish. After waiting for three months without any updates, I decided to just cancel the whole thing. Despite me asking multiple times, they told me they credited my PayPal account back in February. But when I checked my PayPal and credit card statements, I couldn't see any trace of the transaction happening. Bloomies has now gone quiet on me and I'm feeling frustrated and short of cash. I'm on a fixed income, so every dollar is important to me, and it's really disappointing to be left hanging with no solution in sight.
Recent clothing purchase
I bought some clothes at Bloomingdale's in the mall the other day. Hala Abdulkarim, the sales associate, was so helpful and knew a lot about the products. She really went above and beyond in helping me and made my shopping trip a great one. Thanks to her awesome service, I'll definitely be going back to that store in the future.
Shoes and handbag
My recent experience at Bloomingdale's was terrible. I ordered some shoes and a handbag online, and it was a disaster from beginning to end. They cancelled my order not just once, but twice, and didn't even bother explaining why. When I tried to get help from customer service, the people I spoke to were so unhelpful and rude. Dealing with their incompetence and lack of care was so frustrating. Why do they treat their customers like this? We're the ones who keep them in business. They should show some respect and appreciation for us!
Birthday gift purchase
Eh, so the stuff they sell at this store is pretty good quality, but man, let me tell ya, their customer service needs some serious work, specifically with shipping. I've had a few instances where my stuff took forever to get to me, and then I found out days later that they actually didn't have the item in stock and had to ditch my order. It's a real pain in the butt, especially when you're trying to plan for birthdays or holidays. And even if you pay extra for rush shipping, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
International orders cancelled
I thought Bloomingdale's was the best for shipping internationally, but man, was I mistaken! I ordered a few things back in January, only to get an email a week later saying my order was cancelled because they were out of stock. Okay, mistakes happen, I understand that. But what really got me was that those same items were still available to buy on their website! Skip ahead almost a month later, I thought I'd give Bloomingdales another shot and ordered 5 items. And guess what? The order got cancelled again! Seriously, what's going on? Is the website just a front to get people in, only to let them down later? If you don't have it, just say so! Don't get people's hopes up and waste their time. I'm not happy with you, Bloomingdale's, not at all.
Online shopping experience
I recently had the worst luck trying to buy stuff online from (company). Let me tell you, it was a total mess! The website's layout is like something from the 90s, so old-fashioned and hard to figure out. I tried to use a discount code from an email, but turns out it didn't work because of all these exclusions. And to top it off, the prices are way too high for what you're getting. I ended up giving up on my shopping cart and going somewhere else. It's just not right to have such a bad online shopping experience in this day and age.
Online purchase with loyalty club membership
I just bought something from Bloomingdale's online and thought I should sign up for their loyalty club to get a $25 discount on my first purchase. But when I went to use the voucher, it didn't work. I reached out to customer service and they told me to wait until the next day to try again online or in person. I went to the store in Boca Raton and had the same problem. After a frustrating call with customer service, they told me to try again the next day. It was really disappointing dealing with all these false promises and inconvenience. I won't be shopping at Bloomingdale's again after this.
Clothing and accessories
I recently had a pretty frustrating experience with the customer service and system at the store. I ran into a problem where my loyalty points weren't being added properly because of a system error. I tried reaching out for help, but the responses I got were not helpful at all, and I still haven't found a solution. It's made me feel like my loyalty as a customer who has spent a lot at the store isn't valued. It's a bummer because now I have a negative view of the store and I'm not sure I want to shop there again.
