    Climbing shoes purchase

    I recently bought climbing shoes in a Black Friday sale and man, what a letdown. The shoes I got were way too small, even though I made sure to order a bigger size. When I tried to reach out to customer service about it, I couldn't get through on the phone and got stuck listening to a robot telling me to send an email. I sent an email over two weeks ago and still haven't heard back. When I tried calling again, I found out their lines were closed for the holidays and won't be back until another two weeks. This lack of communication and help from customer service is just not right. It seems like they sold me a faulty product and now they're dodging their responsibility to fix it. And their return and exchange policies are just terrible, making this whole thing even more frustrating. I was expecting much better service and reliability from this company.

    Head torch purchase

    I got this head lamp from the company not too long ago and it ended up being not in working order. I reached out to customer service right away to try and sort it out. Even though the product came with a three-year warranty, all they offered was a 30% discount on a replacement. I was really let down by their lack of responsibility and not-so-great service. In the end, I had to go through a third party to get my money back, which was a big headache. I'd suggest staying away from this company to save yourself the trouble.

    My recent experience with this company has been really disappointing. I ordered some products from them, but it was flagged as fraud and my money got stuck for a whole week. I tried reaching out for help multiple times, but the customer service team wouldn't budge in helping me unlock my account. They just kept saying "that's how our system works." After weeks of back and forth, I was told I couldn't place an order at all, despite going through the hassle of setting up a new bank account and PayPal account to match their system. This whole situation has left me feeling frustrated and worn out.

    Avi packs gift

    My mom bought us over $2,000 worth of avo packs from this store as a present. When we tried to use them, they didn't work right. We asked the store for help, but they said no to a refund, replacement, or fixing them. It felt like they thought we were trying to trick them, but we weren't. I'm not happy with how they treated us and how they didn't want to help a loyal customer.

    Slippery ice cleats

    I bought some ice cleats from this store and they were a complete waste of money. The grip was awful, they kept slipping off my shoes, and customer service hasn't bothered to respond to any of my emails. I even filed a warranty claim 5 weeks ago and haven't received any updates. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this store.

I gotta say, this store has some of the best climbing gear out there. The materials used are tough and dependable, which gives me the confidence I need when I'm out there on the rocks.     Broken battery housing replacement

    I had the battery housing on my headlamp break recently. I contacted customer service yesterday and they sent me a new housing in the mail today at no cost. The EU department dealt with my request quickly and effectively. The service I received was beyond what I expected, and I am very happy with the result.

    Outdoor jacket purchase

    I bought this outdoor jacket that was supposed to be top-notch, it had great reviews in the States. But let me tell you, during a bike ride in Copenhagen when it was raining, I got drenched! And to top it off, the zipper was garbage, it completely broke. If I was in the Norwegian mountains, I could have frozen to death! My old Bergans jacket, which is 30 years old, does a better job at keeping me dry, even though I haven't treated it again since I got it. Black Diamond is a total flop! You can't trust it to keep you dry in serious situations.

    Hiking boots purchase

    I recently bought some hiking boots from this store and I gotta say, the service was pretty disappointing. I placed my order back on 03/10/2021, got the confirmation email, and then suddenly found out a few days later that my order was cancelled without them even telling me. Checked the website on 08/10/2021, and saw that it got cancelled on 05/10/2021. I was totally in the dark and could have been waiting forever for something that wasn't coming. Not cool at all - they really need to step up their communication game and care more about keeping customers happy.

    Walking poles broke

    I got these really awesome poles for hiking, but one day they just broke. I tried fixing them, but no luck. So, I decided to use the warranty and the company was so nice about it. They sent me new poles, no charge, and really quickly too. They're great quality too, so I'm pretty stoked about it!
