I recently booked a rental car package through a travel website and I have to say, it was a major let down. The price I was initially given ended up being different from what I actually had to pay. Even though I paid most of it upfront, I was still asked to fork over an extra $75 directly to the rental car company. When I reached out to customer service to sort out the situation, they were not helpful at all. First, they told me to contact the rental car agency myself, even though I booked through their site. Then, they tried to pass it off as just an estimate, even though they said all bookings were final. And on top of that, they falsely accused me of requesting a car upgrade from the rental agency. I feel frustrated and deceived by this whole ordeal, and I definitely won't be using their website again in the future.

So, I recently booked a car rental through this popular website that claims they have awesome deals on travel stuff. But guess what? Turns out this website wasn't all it cracked up to be. I booked with a big car rental company, and then when I saw my credit card bill, it didn't match the price I was quoted. The website messed up the payment and I got charged twice by the car rental company. When I tried to sort it out with the website, they were no help at all and didn't want to own up to their mistake. After doing some digging, I found out that lots of other people had the same problem with this website. I'd say stay far away from them - they're not reliable at all.

I just don't get why folks are whining about this company. I've scored some awesome deals on hotels and car rentals in the past, especially in Europe. Like that one time I saved a ton on a fancy hotel room. The savings on car rentals have been huge too, sometimes hundreds cheaper than other places. But, you gotta keep in mind that there are no refunds on these bookings.
