Terrible experience
Public Mobile is just a complete disaster, eh? As soon as my partner and I switched over to their cell service, we ran into all sorts of technical problems. It's so frustrating that they don't have any actual people to help out - like, really? Their chatbot system is a total joke, it doesn't actually fix anything. We even sent in support tickets, but they straight up ignored us. In the end, we just had to give up and switch back to our old provider. We've tried getting a refund, but it's like talking to a brick wall. Public Mobile's customer service is an absolute joke, I tell ya.
Switched carriers, unable to transfer number
I switched phone companies not too long ago, and I had some trouble moving my number over. Dealing with customer service was a pain, and I couldn't get the issue sorted out properly. I felt trapped with this new company and pretty upset about it all. It seemed like they weren't following the rules laid out in the consumer protection act.
Phone activation trouble
It was really annoying not having any customer support to help with my technical issues. I ran into a problem while trying to activate my phone, but there was no way to talk to a real person - just an endless loop of automated messages. The ticket system was useless, and the bot kept telling me to submit a ticket, which just made me even more frustrated. I had no choice but to switch to a different phone company in the middle of everything because I couldn't finish or cancel the activation. It ended up costing me a lot of money and wasted a ton of time. From now on, I'll only consider phone companies with actual people at kiosks to help me out.
Porting number issue
I'm so annoyed with trying to switch my number to this company. It's been days and my old provider says they're all set, but this company hasn't done a thing to start the process. I even tried to change the number, but that was a no-go. Their lack of communication and action is just not okay. Don't they care about keeping customers or just doing their job?
Loyalty program migration
As someone who's been a customer for a while now, I've always been happy with the service I get from this company. But I gotta say, I'm really let down by their recent choice to make everyone switch to this new points system. The old rewards program was way better for us customers, and this switch feels like a big step backwards. It seems like the only ones winning here are the company and the folks who own shares in it. It's frustrating that we don't even get a choice in whether we switch or not, and it just shows they're not thinking about us loyal customers like they used to.
SIM card
Oh man, that whole thing was just terrible, right? I thought I could deal with a text chat help thing, but nope, not at all. All I wanted was to activate my SIM and move on, but I swear, it was like talking to a machine. They didn't really help me out, just left me feeling annoyed. So not cool, eh?
Thought I canceled but still got charged! 😡
I finally figured out how to cancel after sifting through a bunch of stuff on the website. It wasn't an easy process, but at least I got it done!
#Transfer family to new mobile plan
Hey, feel free to use my code X80WJ4 for a $10 discount when you register.
Mobile phone plan
My experience with customer service at this company was really frustrating. I tried for days to get help but the reps weren't helpful at all. I eventually gave up and lost $40.00. The low prices might seem good, but their service isn't reliable so it's not worth it. Choosing this company for my mobile needs was a mistake.
iPhone 6 switch to new provider
I recently switched my old iPhone 6 to a new provider since it's now only a backup phone that I rarely use. Everything seemed alright at first, but then my friends started telling me that they were getting a 'number no longer in service' message when trying to reach me on my new provider. Not everyone experienced this issue, but some did, including myself when I tried calling from my main phone. My wife even missed a doctor's appointment because of this problem. I haven't been able to complete the "full registration process" because the confirmation code they're supposed to send me never comes through. It's frustrating. I initially wanted to save some money, but now I'm on the lookout for a new provider.
Long-term customer disappointed in changes to rewards program
I've been with Public Mobile for more than four years now and I used to really like their rewards program. But just recently, they told us they're switching things up for everyone. Instead of getting a discount on my bill every month, they're only giving me credit to use in their store on stuff I don't even need. This new program basically does nothing for me or for others who just want a simple plan. It honestly feels like they're turning their backs on us loyal customers, and I'm pretty bummed about the whole thing.
SIM card
I bought a SIM card from this company and it was a big mistake, eh. The whole process to order it was a pain, and when I called customer service with questions they weren't much help, eh. The price was okay, but it took way too long for the delivery to arrive, eh. I think I'll go with a different provider for my mobile stuff next time, for sure.
Lost SIM, Need Support
So, I was in Colombia last week and I had a bit of a situation - I lost my SIM card and I really needed to grab some cash from an ATM. I had no clue what to do, so I tried messaging my mobile provider for help. But man, I waited for hours on a Sunday and got no response. It was frustrating and kinda scary, being stuck without access to my bank account and all.
LTE plan, expensive compared to another provider
So, I was thinking about switching my phone plan to save some money, but then I read reviews about Public Mobile's bad customer service and who owns it, so I decided to stick with my current provider. Plus, the LTE plan from Public Mobile was way pricier than other options out there.
Port-in phone number
I just tried to switch my phone number to Public Mobile, thinking they use the Telus network which is known for being good. But it didn't work at all, and I was really annoyed. I checked beforehand to make sure the coverage was good, but the customer service was so unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend Public Mobile to anyone. They can't even help with porting your number, so I suggest going with a different provider that cares about their customers. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.
Mobile plan
I had a really bad experience dealing with this company. Their customer service was terrible, with no way to contact them by phone or email for help. It was hard to fix any problems without being able to talk to anyone. I wouldn't recommend signing up for their services, even if they're free. It's not worth the hassle and frustration.
