Poor quality sheets
These sheets are terrible! They started pilling and ripping after only 7 months of using them. I reached out to customer service, but I'm not too hopeful that they'll help much. I definitely wouldn't suggest buying these sheets.
My sheets
I got these sheets and they got all bumpy and then ripped! I was so angry because I spent a lot of money on them and had to drive so far to pick them up. I emailed the company, but they weren't helpful at all, just said I missed the return date. When I tried to leave a review on their website, they didn't even publish it because it wasn't a perfect rating. I had to sew a patch on them myself to try and fix them, but I still believe it's unfair that they hide negative reviews.
Meru Counter Stools
I bought four Meru Counter Stools, but I'm really let down by how they turned out. Got them in September and it didn't take long for one of them to break at the footrest. The wood piece that goes into the leg snapped off, just from an 11-year-old resting their foot on it lightly. Customer service told me to fix it with wood glue myself, or they'd give me only half of what we paid. Then, another stool broke in the same place, this time because my 18-month-old stood on it. I think it's not right that such pricey stools would break so easily with normal use in a kitchen. I'm really not happy with the quality of these stools and the lack of help from customer service.
Linen sheets
Linen sheets are supposed to make your bed look like it belongs in a fancy French villa, but the reality is a little different. Yes, they're soft and cozy, but not worth the high price tag. I had to resort to watching instructional videos online just to figure out how to get the wrinkles out, which, by the way, you have to do daily. What a hassle!
Handwoven rug purchase
I bought a handwoven rug online and it wasn't what I expected at all. The colors were muted and the size was smaller than I thought. When I contacted customer service to complain, they weren't helpful and didn't really address my concerns. Plus, the fees to return the rug were crazy high. All in all, dealing with this company was a bad experience and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.
Quality and Aesthetics
I gotta say, the stuff I bought was really top-notch quality and looked exactly how I wanted it to. I'm a big fan of the unique style and workmanship of the items I got. And let me tell ya, the customer service was amazing. The folks working there knew their stuff, were quick to respond, and went out of their way to help me out. They really made sure I was happy with what I bought. All in all, I had a great time shopping there.
Linen sheets purchase
I bought some linen sheets back in February, eh, and come September, there was this big ol' hole in 'em, ya know? I tried talking to customer service so many times - sent 'em seven emails and left eleven voicemails - but never heard back. It was really disappointing 'cause I thought I was doin' my part by choosin' somethin' sustainable, ya know what I mean?
Stonewashed Linen Shams - King Set / Sand Stripe
I bought these Stonewashed Linen Shams in King size and Sand Stripe color, but they sent me the wrong color. I contacted customer service and they said they would send the right one, but it's been a month and I still haven't received anything or heard back from them. It's really annoying that they're not keeping me updated, especially since these shams were expensive. Now I have to deal with all the trouble of disputing the charge on my credit card just to try and get my money back.
Stonewashed Linen Sheet Set - Queen / Slate Blue
I bought the Stonewashed Linen Sheet Set - Queen / Slate Blue back in November 2021. It's now June 2023 and there's already a big hole in the sheets. We have 3 other sheet sets that we use too, so these ones aren't used every night. This is such bad quality - sheets shouldn't fall apart a year and a half after getting them, especially when not used every night.
Linen bed sheets and duvet
I bought some linen bed sheets and a duvet from this company, and was happy with the quality at first. But, things took a turn when I had to pay almost $300 in duty fees to ship them to Canada. It was frustrating to not know about these extra costs beforehand. It doesn't make sense that a company wouldn't think about the duty fees for international customers, especially in Canada, nowadays. This whole situation has put me off, and I probably won't buy from them again.
Carpet
I bought a carpet from this company and I was super disappointed with how they packaged it. When I got the carpet today, it was just rolled up and tossed into a box without any wrapping or protection. The box was all beat up and I couldn't believe the carpet wasn't damaged. It's clear they didn't take care in handling it. This whole experience has really turned me off from ordering from them again.
Overpriced fuzzy blanket
I recently bought this expensive blanket, and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. The design and colors are nice, but the quality is horrible. After only a couple of days, it started shedding everywhere and threads were coming loose all over the place. The weave is so loose and delicate that you start to question why they charge so much for it. Alpaca blankets aren't supposed to shed like this, so they either don't know what they're doing or they're trying to pull a fast one. What's even more frustrating is that when I tried to leave a review on their website, the feedback section seemed to be conveniently disabled. Very suspicious if you ask me. Needless to say, I won't be buying anything from them again.
King Linen set purchase.
I recently bought the King Linen set from this company, and I have to tell you, I am really disappointed with the quality of the sheets. As soon as I opened the package, the sheets started shedding like crazy. It got so bad that I had to get a handheld vacuum just to clean my bed every time I changed the sheets. And on top of that, the shedding made the sheets super thin, and now they're about to get holes all over. I've never had this happen with any other sheets I've had before.
When I contacted their customer service about the problem, all they gave me was a lousy 10% off coupon for more sheets. Honestly, I won't be buying from them again.Duvet with button closure
This duvet with button closure was terrible quality! Right when I started using it, the buttons started falling off. I contacted customer service, and all they suggested was giving me a measly $25 to fix it myself. In just a few months, every single button on the duvet fell off. I am so disappointed with the lousy craftsmanship and lack of quality control.
Handmade wall hanging purchase
So, I bought this really cool handmade wall hanging a while back, but I didn't get around to hanging it up until recently because I was busy renovating my room. When I finally took it out of the box, one of the hangings slipped off the rod and the material started to shred. I tried a bunch of things to fix it, but nothing worked. I reached out to customer service and sent them some detailed photos of the problem and my concerns. At first, they gave me some good advice, but when that didn't work, they quickly sent me a shipping label to return the item. They ended up replacing it with a brand new one. I was really impressed by the level of service and care they showed me as a customer. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
